Importing my existing resume info was easy and amending info was simple enough. The only issue that plagued me was in editing references where I wanted to include their email addresses. Under the edit screen it required that all missing info be filled out, not just the addition of an email, and then every time I would amend and save it, the new info would never actually save, which was frustrating. So I gave up and just modified it myself on the Word doc I downloaded. Otherwise, I liked the different looks and how it presents my info, so it was worth it to spiff up my old resume.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience on this platform. Nowhere during the initial stages of the resume builder was it mentioned that downloading the final resume would require a paid subscription. I spent a significant amount of time carefully entering my details, expecting a free or at least transparently priced service. It was only at the final step—when I tried to download my resume—that I was suddenly prompted to pay.
This lack of upfront transparency feels misleading and a waste of my time. Users deserve to know before they begin whether the service is free or paid. If payment is required, it should be clearly stated at the very beginning of the process so we can make an informed decision.
I am leaving a 1-star rating purely because of this poor user experience and the absence of clear, honest communication. I urge the team to make their pricing and download policies more transparent to avoid disappointing more users in the future.
