In November 2023, I booked a room at the Hyatt in San Jose for February2024. In minutes I got the confirmation email (which stated the reservation was non refundable) it was for the Hyatt across town. Immediately tried to switch to the correct location. But, neither Reservation Stays nor Hyatt could / would move the reservation to the correct hotel. And because of the stated non-refundable policy of Reservation Stays, my bank won't reverse the charge. Because I need to be in the specific area of town, I am taking the loss and booking in another hotel. Wish I had read these reviews before booking. I wiill be mindful to avoid Reservation Stays in the future and recommend you do the same.

I booked the Westin Galleria Dallas hotel back in November of 2023. I couldnt make the reservation due to a family passing and I got covid. I couldnt get any of money back due to their non-refundable policy. I tried going through their support portal and they kept asking me for sufficient documentation and also to ge approval from the hotel itself which they wouldnt give me. I lost $1600 USD. Reservations stays is a scam and I would stay away from it.

Not legitimate

I attempted to book a hotel through their website. They do not obscure your card number which is a security risk. They do not check room availability before charging your card. It was a sponsored site so it was at the top of my google search. From now on, I will be booking reservations through the hotel website.

No Refunds!

I will NEVER book through these thieves ever again! The absolute worst. They have a No refund policy even when the date for my hotel was wrong on my reservation! They charged me for a day that I was never there!I I disputed it and after 3 months of quibbling, they hid behind their no refund policy! I will make sure I tell everyone to NEVER use these rotten, penny pinching, corporate greedy jerks ever again.

I made a reservation via telephone, asked if the Resort Fee was included, and was told that everything was included. Then I called the hotel directly, and the hotel told me that this was not true, when I called them back they told me that I had to pay the Resort fee and that they were not going to give me the money back or assume that cost.

Hice una reserva por teléfono, pregunté si el Resort Fee estaba incluido, y me dijeron que todo estaba incluido. Luego llamé directamente al hotel, y el hotel me dijo que eso no era cierto, cuando les volví a llamar me dijeron que tenía que pagar la tasa del Resort y que no me iban a devolver el dinero ni asumir ese coste.

I booked with this company and never received the service so had to pay again at the hotel. Now I am doing back and forth with them to get my credit. Oh and they lied on the phone as well about the price of the room, they charged me $94 over the original price of the room. Here is why not to use them.

1 - They overcharge and lie about room process to sell higher.
2 - Their customer service is non existent.
3 - Their service is no good.

I was overcharged by 50 percent 2 nights should have cost 306.00 and I was charged 758.00. If you think canceling would have helped, I would never have got my money back. Even the hotel said I was overcharged. Call locally to the hotel you want. Check out other reviews it gets worse.

I booked a room advertised for $156 and was charged an additional $85 for "Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees". Never has happened to me before with other services like this! Wish I could give 0 stars.

Scam, stay away.

I never heard of reservation stays. I only recognized the name after they somehow intercepted my call to the hotel where I am performing a wedding. They told me I had no reservation and the hotel was mostly booked. I was told I could get a room but I had better book now and could cancel later. I booked and now can't reach anyone to cancel. The hotel told me that I was booked by some third party at this exorbitant rate. I have called my credit card to identify this issue. Apparently I can't dispute the charge until I am billed for it. I thought I was calling the hotel. It wasn't the hotel. Now when I call to call, I get put in a que and have to wait for hours or get other run around. BEWARE I AM STILL WAITING.

Reservation Stay is a scam and keeps reaping people of money. Where in the world will you book a hotel ahead of time and your money is taken out your account right away. Even when a wrong room that the hotel doesn't have is booked. Where is our legislators that are allowing such business to exist in United States. RESERVATION STAY.COM IS A SCAM. Please be warned, do not book from there website else you will be scammed. Share this review to your friends and family please. DO NOT BOOK YOUR RESERVATION WITH THEM.

Never ever use this site

Due to a glitch with the computer I booked 4 times by mistake, rang the hotel immediately and they refunded me and cancelled the bookings, sent a letter to reservationstays and weeks on still have not returned my $2500

Biggest scam ever! I scheduled a reservation almost 1 month in advance for a fishing trip. The captain notifies me that we had to reschedule for next week due to bad weather. I contacted "reservation stays to change date due to upcoming bad weather. They said that it was against their policy. They refused to change dates or give a refund! I just lost $600

Unethical service

The feasibility of a "non-refundable" contract adversely impacts consumers whose flihghts become delayed for circumstances out of their control. Rocelle replied to my complaint by denying refund of a payment made to attend a conference at Capthorn Hotel in London UK. The cause of the delay was the late departure of Delta Airlines due to safety reasons. The hotel receipt specifically states that I did not stay for the first day of my planned itinerary. Rocelle blames Copthorne Hotel for not granting the refund. However the Copthorne Hotel/ London website routes all bookings through Reservation Stays. This points to a direct fiduciary relationship between Reservation Stays and Copthorne Hotel, clealry designed to impede refunds in circumstances such as this. I filed a complaint with VISA.

Booked a room through reservation stays for my son. The hotel never received the notification and he was refused. They took my money and have never responded. I called them 18 times the night of the booking and each time my call was cut off. Don't touch these people! Crooks!

Horrible customer service. If you call you can expect a hold time of up to 2 and a half hours, never under 90 mins. Loud, fast talking and broken English - they do not listen to your needs or concerns. I added one additional night to a stay we had booked for 3 nights, it went through this 3rd party service... never gave me the price until I asked near the end of the conversation and the response was $458! I said no, I am not comfortable with that and the representative told me it was too late the charge already went through. I could cancel the reservation but refunds were not allowed. I had not even ended the call. I have been working on a refund for 3 months with no resolution. Received an email stating if I were to get written authorization from the property from upper management to okay the refund they would grant it - sent that directly from the property and no response for over a month. TERRIBLE experience and they are giving a very reputable hotel chain a bad name.

Booked the wrong Hotel

This reservation booking 3rd party business is the worst. Do not use them ever. They booked the wrong hotel and before refunding my money I had to go to the wrong hotel and request documentation that I didn't stay there. I also had to provide my hotel invoice that I had to pay for at the correct hotel. Takes hours to get through to them and the booking agents have poor English. What a nightmare I still don't have a refund from them. Never will use them again. Horrible service. I asked for their address and they said they are off shore. What a horrible business.
