This site has no affiliation nor capability to secure, modify or cancel a reservation. The customer service is abysmal. We made a reservation for a one-night stay and got charged for two. Before checking in, we advised them of the error, and they couldn't modify the reservation.
This is scam please be aware don't us them they charge me for a reservation $519.00 for 2 day in Los Angeles and them the hotel charge me $381.00 they didn't pay the hotel, I made the reservation June 18, wen you read the cancelation rules, I can only cacell June 17, so there is no way to cancel, I call they hang the phone on me. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. They are in Florida
I was directed to Reservations.com when I clicked to reserve a room on the hotel website. I fell for the higher discounted rate and booked a room. Upon completion of my reservation another booking website popped up with an extremely lower rate for the same hotel room. I immediately called reservations.com customer support to cancel my reservation. They rudely refused because it is in the fine print that due to the higher discounted rate this booking is non refundable. $175 per night is not a good rate when you can book the same room with a friendlier site for $109. Warning never use reservations.com to book anything.
Only sorry that I can't give 0 stars. Tried to go to the web site for a hotel in Columbus, Ohio, and ended up in Reservations.com by mistake. (Check the URL carefully to make sure that you're not in the wrong site.) Booked two hotel stays with Reservations.com, but knew something was wrong when they immediately charged my credit card for the full amount - not something that the hotel would do. Called the hotel directly and booked at a cheaper rate - saved more than $40 on each of two 2-night stays. Then cancelled reservations made through Reservations.com, but got hit with non-refundable fee of $20 for each reservation. Reservations.com had higher rates and fees than directly from the hotel, immediately charged my credit card, and had non-refundable service fees - a total ripoff. I will be very careful to avoid them in the future.
This is the worse booking site with even worse customer service. Their fees are a lot higher than other sites. Please find another site to use!
I was trying to book a $288 room at a Sheraton. I selected a room and clicked on the reserve room button. The site took me to a page that completed the transaction, and booked me into a Comfort Inn. I called within minutes to tell the site of the error, but they refused to issue a credit saying that I had booked a $209 non-refundable rate. Then they charged my credit card three $19.99 reservation fees.
The horrid customer service rep had such a thick Asian accent I could not understand her, and she was hard of hearing too because I had to give her the last four digits of my credit card and zip code three times. When I tried to explain that I wasn't even trying to book a room at a Comfort Inn, she told me again that I had booked a non-refundable rate. Then she hung up on me.
I booked a hotel in Moline IL for July 22nd for two adults because it was my wedding day. Everything on the website looked fine. It told me the told was going to be $247 which I was okay with. After I paid I got a confirmation email that said it was for June 5-7 for one adult in the Washington DC area and now the total was more like $350. I wasn't mad at first I understand tech isn't always perfect so I reached out to customer service. I showed them proof that it was their websites fault amd they still denied my refund. I would admit if I messed up on this but it makes me sick that they would just takes someone's money like that and not even offer to move the reservation to the right day and hotel. I just wanted it to be made right and that didn't not happen. Do not use this website.
What a CRAPPY business process!
Had a reservation at hotel for two days with desired room. Needed to cancel on of the days. It turns out you have to cancel the whole reservation and rebook. WHY? When I asked about doing this I couldn't get back the room I wanted! I already have the room booked WHY can't I just drop the day I don't want.
DO NOT USE this service - book with hotel direct - DO NOT USE RESERVATIONS.COM.
This company is an absolute RIP-OFF! The cancellation literally 10-minutes after I booked the room was more expensive than the room rate alone... In addition, their customer service was incredibly rude. I would sleep in the wood before ever booking with this company again.
Like so many of you, I was not aware I was booking through a third party. Then, I had to cancel my reservation because my flight was 2.5 hours late, and the hotel desk closed after midnight. My reservation was cancelled, and the hotel refunded this company for 5 out of the 6 nights. 15 emails and 10 phone calls later they have verbal confirmation from the hotel they were refunded, and I'm pretty sure the billing department has access to records of the refund they received, so they know they are keeping my $500 refund for no reason. I'm done with pleading with them, and I'm going to my Credit Card to try and pull the funds from them. Then it's off to the BBB.
Deceit and double talk, that's their game. My late flight documentation attached. Someone at their company should go to jail for fraud.
I chose the "website" for the Hampton Inn hotel in Presque Isle maine and was led to the website of reserve nations.com. NO REFUNDS! I tried to cancel 6 weeks out but no refunds permitted.
THEY ARE A FRAUD AND SCAMMERS. BEWARE!
Reservations charged my credit card, but when I wrote to the hotel, there was no reservation on my name. I asked them to cancel the payment on my card, when it was still not completely processed ( still marked in red), but they didn't. Now the payment is processed with no reservation at the hotel. I'd like my money back.
I booked a 3 night motel stay. I was charged the full amount at the time of booking. The motel was wonderful but when I was given a statement upon checking out I saw that the hotel charges were $165 less than I was charged! I called the company and they basically said tough. They would not refund the extra chatges.
I had made a reservation for a vacation of seven nights. I thought I was dealing with the hotel website but I wasn't. I was dealing with thereservations.com that is who I was directed to from the hotel website. I had to cancel after one night to go care for my elderly mother eight hours away. She's 85, housebound and crippled. She had to have my assistance as a caregiver for the balance of my vacation. The hotel creditedreservations.com for the unused portion. They are refusing to Credit me with the unused portion even though they have received their credit. They are horrible to work with if I would give a zero rating I would. I would recommend anyone Think hotel reservations to call the hotel directly. It is not worth using third-party sites they are a rip off and play games with people. Hotel even wrote a letter to reservations.com stating that They happily canceled my reservations due to the unfortunate circumstances. Shame onreservations.com
The company thinks a nonrefundable RATE is the same as a nonrefundable PURCHASE. The customer service dept told me RATE and PURCHASE are synonyms. Completely inflexible and deceptive, they had a link on the Comfort Inn site. I thought I was booking through Comfort Inn which is a Choice Hotels property and has a long history of great service. Instead, I was redirected to Reservation.com which is quite simply a fraud per the language on their site equating a rate with a purchase.
THESE GUYS ARE THE BIGGEST SCAM IN THE WORLD... I BEAT THEM AND SO CAN YOU! I GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK AND THE $19.95 SERVICE FEE... CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. CALL THESE GUYS AND DEMAND YOUR MONEY BACK. THE NOISY WHEEL GETS THE GREASE. PERSISTANCE PAYS OFF. NO IS NOT A ACCEPTABLE ANSWER... SCUMBAGS TO THE MAX... CROOKS
NO
My best friend tested positive for Covid the day before our stay. The hotel was willing to change our reservations, reservation.com said they just needed confirmation from the hotel. They told me they had to get confirmation by e-mail, it will be no problem and I should check back in 24 hours. This was on a Friday. I called back the following week and was told they will not refund me without documentation for a positive Covid test. Why didn't anyone mention this the first time I called? After being disconnected three separate times and speaking with four different people, every time I call back I have to explain the whole situation again, to be put on hold and then disconnected again. This went on for over 3 hours. I now refuse to make reservations online, only by phone with the desired hotel. Not to mention they wrecked my besties birthday celebration by keeping my $300.00!
Make sure you're speaking to the hotel and not these scam artists, who lead you to believe you are speaking directly with the hotel. When I phoned the hotel looking for my email confirmation, they told me I booked through Expedia, which I did not realize because they hide this somehow. The hotel is helpless to assist; they told me this is common practice w Expedia. When I called Expedia, they bounced me to multiple toll free numbers where no one is helpful. The rates are high and the cancellation fees very steep.
They verbally confirmed a cancellation time of 11:59PM over the phone, but it turns out the cancellation deadline is 11:59AM. Wasn't caught because they didn't send a confirmation email until after I called looking for one, then they told me they sent one (which was sent while I was on the phone with the Expedia/Reservations.com agent) and at this point I was inside the cancellation timeframe. This company deserves a look by every watchdog agency - they may be just inside the legal boundaries but they are not ethical.
They will tell you it's the last room when it's a total lie. Customer service will hang up on you when you try to get a refund.
DO NOT use them! They sell you a Porsche dream with a Toyota price when you get there you get a Pontiac from 1988 that doesn't run. When you try to get your refund you get scammed! Told I would receive my money back - still waiting!
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
