She was 100 yrs and 10 months of age - a long happy life-my favorite aunt on my mother's side of the family!
Michelle did an outstanding job at getting us a hotel in Lubbock Texas. She asked what our needs were for a hotel and she found exactly what we wanted. She definitely exceeded our expectations!

I asked for a jacuzzi room at the Marriott Harbourfront Halifax Hotel check in date Nov 8 and check out the 9th. Booking Number H*******. Melissa charged me $783.84 for this jacuzzi room. I got to the hotel only to find out I was booked in to a regular 2 double bed room with no Jacuzzi that was posted online at a rate of just over $300. I spoke to front desk who advised me this entire hotel does not have any rooms with Jacuzzi tubs. I phoned the 1-877 number only to get someone who told me she had to put me through to customer support and then hung up on me. I called back and asked to be put through to customer support and was asked why! So now I explain the entire story over again only to be told sorry, there's nothing we can do. I said I want to speak to a manager or supervisor and the woman on the phone told me there's no supervisors to talk to and she would take my number and someone would call me back that same day. No one has called me back so you people falsely advertised a room to make a sale and STOLE over $400 of my money!

After the first agent booked us a the wrong hotel, the 2nd agent was able to cancel the initial reservation and make a new one at the correct hotel. While the agent was extremely professional and helpful, I can't say it was a great experience with reservations.com

This particular lady was awful, the worst I have ever had. I don't recall ever subbited a negative review. She was trying to read from a script, and continued interrupting and I was giving her the requested information. It took 4 times to give her my credit card information as she could only take two numbers at a time
After giving her my spelling of my last name 3 times, Tippit, she misspelled it anyway.

Reynaldo spoke in great English for my old ears to hear. There was some noise in the background = a fan, which he turned off to help me hear him.
He answered all my questions about pet free rooms and about transportation from Pier to hotel.

I called in to make reservations for 2 rooms. The representative continuously over talked us and lied to us about what reservations she had made. We ask specifically for 2 adjoining rooms in the Mountain tower. She didn't put us in the Mountain tower This was an important request because we have a handicap person who can't walk far and the Mountain tower is the closest one to the restaurants and other activities. She put us in the Soho tower which is further away. She also said she made adjoining rooms like we requested but according to the hotel they are not adjoining and since the reservation was made through you they can't do anything about it. She told us we could cancel reservations up to 24 hours before check in date even though the email she sent said they were non cancellation reservation. We questioned her about this and she just kept saying yes you have up to 24 hours before check in to cancel. We ask for a supervisor and she hung up on us. I tried 4 times now to reach a supervisor and still haven't been able to. I'd like to speak to one. This I feel like is a violation of the ADA law by not accommodating a handicap person needs.

Angel was awesome in every way. I have a friend who was just kicked out of her house with her 9 year old daughter. They're going to come stay with me once I get the room cleaned out, but it wasn't ready yet. So I had to get them into a hotel to make sure they weren't sleeping in the car. Angel got that reservations on record time for me. I had called and spoken to a representative before him, I don't remember her name. She was very hard to understand, and she also wanted to charge me more money than Angel did for the same room. I used to work for a company called ICT, if I was still working for them, I'd be trying to steal Angel away from you to come work for me.

Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
