Today I used online service and it wasn't until I got the confirmation email that I realized I had booked that wrong hotel. I was trying to take one of my furkids with me to pick up one if my nonfurkuds.
I called and I spoke with the nicest gentleman, didn't quite get his name I believe it started with an S.He called the hotel got my reservation moved to the other hotel without any penalties so all I was out was the difference in price of the rooms. I appreciate Customer Service representatives who truly care about the people on the other line. Just so you know you made me a believer for life.
Thanks so much for your kindness. A little kindness goes a long way.
Not enough restaurants worth going to near my location. Would prefer better choices or dessert places.
I won't use the site again... no mention of the amount of the "fee"...
I live in Alberta. I googled a hotel located in northern Alberta, Canada. A picture of the hotel popped up and on the bottom of the picture a button to make reservations. I hit the button, looked at the various rooms and rates and made my choice. Only when the confirmation come through did US dollars show up. I did not google reservations.com. I was making a reservation for a Canadian hotel in Canada and thus there would be no reason why I would want to book and pay for a room in US dollars. Only with the help of the actual hotel front desk was I able to cancel the US booking!
Reservation agent was very pleasant and helpful in assisting me with making a change to my reservation.
Love their website! It really helps me to make decisions regarding hotels and reservations make easy to places we are planning to visit. It helps so much.
My credit card got charged for my reservation although I did not agree to that. On Expedia's site, when I've reserved a hotel room, I remember being able to agree to an immediate payment or payment upon completion of hotel stay. I did not agree to an immediate charge through Reservations.com and was surprised to have it appear on my monthly statement. Really disappointed.
I booked my hotel room for my upcoming to Atlanta from Reservation.com, not knowing that they will charge me fee for booking thru their site. I will be using expedia or trip advisor for my trips in the future.
Never received confirmation email even after several phone calls to correct name and email address. Very frustrated. First and last time i use this service
Reservations.com charged me a $14.99 fee when I canceled my hotel reservation. They removed the fee when I complained.
As soon as the person answered the phone I know that I would be repeating myself over and over. I hung up and booked online. Very frustrating.
I booked a room at the Omni Chicago through reservations.com. It was my first time using the site and I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent experience i had. The website does charge a fee of $14.99 convenience fee but it was very well worth it. The site had lots of hotel choices in the area of Chicago that I was visiting and great prices. The site also provided superb customer service. The rep was fast, polite, and experienced. Overall, i will be using this website for future bookings for travel.
We made the mistake of not checking with the hotel website.
Big mistake because we could have saved about $15 for a one night stay.
This is a hidden charge only seen on some documents and is kept even if reservation cancelled an hour after being made.
Call the hotel directly and book your hotel-- it would have saved me $60
I thought I was using the web site for the hotel directly. Now I find out that there apparently was a $15.00 charge to my credit card for their service. Since I needed the hotel room due to a death in the family, I guess I made this reservation in haste. I don't know why I would need to go through this "service" to make a hotel reservation.
I will be more careful next time.
I thought I was booking directly through the hotel. Was not expecting extra fees.
I did not realize that I had made the reservation thru reservations.com, last time I stayed at this hotel I did not have to pay $14.99 for additional fees. I had gone to the hotel website and made my reservations, this time I thought I was doing the same thing, to my surprise I somehow got on this website. Will not happen again. There are plenty of other sites with no fees..
Was fine, however when I thought I lost the keys, it was hard to find where to get help
Answer: Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.
Answer: Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!
Answer: Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Answer: It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.
Answer: My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.
Answer: Hello Brodie, We have sent you an email this morning regarding your concerns. Please email us directly so we may assist you. Sincerely, Customer Support Reservations.com
Answer: Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
