I made a reservation under the impression I could cancel the same day for a full refund. I canceled 7 minutes after making reservation and everything looked fine. I did not receive full refund and they told me I had to cancel before 1am. I didn't make the reservation until 6:04pm and canceled at 6:11pm. I canceled because of room preference but upon reentering to change, it took me to booking.com and Booking.com was $70 cheaper.

This hotel is gross. Dirty. Rude staff. Terrible breakfast. We have loved it here in the past. This time it was awful. We normally stay here twice a year for 4 day weekends. Never again.

Writing a review based on our recent experience of Reservation Desk (Aug. 18th, 2022). Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reservations made through Reservation Desk. I called the hotel directly and they said they were completely fine with us cancelling... When I spoke with the representative, she essentially refused to provide the cancellation (despite telling me earlier in the conversation that if the hotel was fine with it, they would). Tried to tell me that there is a company governing body within Reservation Desk, itself, which decides if cancellations are permitted, and they're (conveniently) not responding to her request, blah, blah, blah. She told me that she knew they would respond the next day, however - when we provided the info that our reservation had been for that evening and hearing the next day would make the point irrelevant. It was a complete run around and money grab. Will NEVER book through this company again! Highly suggest others avoid too. No regard for customers - clearly only out for your cash and will behave in an underhanded way to get it. Lacking in integrity!

Booked hotel, verified address and town, got there found out they had booked me wrong hotel 30 minutes down road. Unsafe hotel. Have not credited me $14.99 fee back. After talking to them and writing report. Do not book through this company. English very bad

Hotel had mold in the room, refuses to stay and was denied a refund due to their reservation policy.

I did not want to use a outside company but accidentally got Reservation Desk. I was told that the Hotel I wanted had no vacancies on the date I needed the room. I was given another hotel that supposedly had all the amenities plus and it would be cheaper.
The promised airport transportation did not exist. The cars in the parking ot had broken windows and one had the catalytic converter taken off (I think) the car was obviously broken into and there were parts and tools all around.
My son was not allowed to rent the room because he had no proof he was my son although he had 2 government issued picture IDs with the same last name. The staff would not call me to verufy the confirmation on the phone. The staff required him to stand outside in the heat to call me (he has a heart condition and it was above 90+ degrees) and then refused to come outside and talk on the phone and would not let him in the lobby to come and talk on the phone.
I called the corporate office 4 X and was put on hold each time for over 30 minutes before getting disconnected.
I could not get Reservation Desk to talk to me; they also put me on hold and didn't talk to me,
They added a $14.99 charge to my credit card for the privelege of using a service, I did not want to use for a hotel I could not stay at, would NOT have stayed at and were not available to resolve the complaint

We were here for 5 day and 4 nights it started off with a musty room we had to ask to move to another room which worked out well until we started seeing roaches big and small, went to the front desk and complained they did nothing except send someone up with bugs spray, needless to say it didn't work, couldn't sleep so I spent our last night up killing roaches, I wish I could post videos, because I definitely do have a few clips with our unwanted guest, I hope I don't take any home with us and I will never stay at this hotel again especially for the money we paid

We arrived at our hotel and were told they couldn't honor reservation as all rooms booked. GM of hotel helping me get refund from reservation desk, but they won't respond to GM either. I'm out $164.00.

DO NOT BOOK THRU THIS COMPANY. MY EMPLOYEE GOT TO HOTEL AND THE RESERVATION WAS NOT THERE. HAD TO PAY AGAIN ON MY CARD SO THEY COULD GET A ROOM. THEY DO NOT RETURN EMAILS OR ANSWER CALLS FOR REFUND. They are a criminal organization! RUN! They will lie about what hotel your actually getting, screw up the registration so bad the hotel won't y take it and then an hour later tell you you can't cancel after never saying so from the beginning! Put me on hold 42 minutes and never answered when I called back! TOTAL SCAM. - RUN!

Not only is the customer service very unhelpful, but so is this company. I am a front desk agent at a hotel. I had a customer come in and show me how she paid $160 for a room through this company. On our system... it showed the room was $103. So, they completely ripped her off. They misled her over the phone and added on $30 worth of taxes (no hotel charges that much for taxes) and a $16 service fee. They charged her this amount, AFTER already charging her card the the room rate which was $97. I have never booked a room or had a customer book a room through a website that charges a service fee. Completely ridiculous. We tried to call customer service together and they were unhelpful, brushed off what happened, refused to give a refund, and told us they would call the customer back. Of course they never did. I am appalled by the behavior demonstrated on this website and how they willingly just scam customers out of money. Please do not book through here, use a reputable website.

I called the reservation desk by mistake. I was looking to book a room at a certain motel but was told that that motel could not accommodate us. Which was a lie. I was not told about The $14.99 fee that is non refundable. Nor was I told about the $20.00 dog fee. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Will not use this site again. I was charged twice for my room. So for a 200 dollar room I paid over 400! Total scam. They keep giving me the runaround on the phone about giving me a credit, passing form one "agent" to another. I can't believe a company like this is still in business! Total scam!

Booked a hotel through them. Was easy but when I needed to cancel they person was very hard to understand and pretty much said ahh my system won't let me do anything for you so goodbye. Now I have to fight it with my credit card company. We checked in to our hotel and left 10 minutes later due to an emergency. Never will use them again.

Stayed here 4 nights supposed to stay 6 cleaning crew came and entered our room without consent. Then we confronted him and he threatened my family member with gun I will never never NEVER stay here again. I'd rather sleep on the sidewalk. Kids were in our room 11 9 and 8 year old. What if they were naked getting out of shower? DISGUSTING and they kicked us out for defending ourselves.

It's always easy to get good customer service when a third party booking agent like reservationdesk.com is taking your money, but the true test of the character of a company is when things go awry. In my case, dealing with reservationdesk was and is a nightmare that cost me about $1,000. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I made reservations through them to book a hotel in Boston for a family trip. When the trip canceled due to a family member's newly discovered cancer (and emergency surgery) we reached out to move our reservation from June to September. This was about 3 weeks prior to our departure. Reservationdesk ("RD") said that changes had to be made directly with the hotel, so that's what we did. With no trouble (no thanks to reservationdesk). But as the original June reservation approached, we kept getting automated "ready for your upcoming trip" type emails from RD. Again tried to reach someone at RD and routinely directed to the hotel by RD. So we reached out to the hotel to tell them that RD still thinks we didn't move our reservation. We wanted to make sure that the 59% penalty for not showing up in June would not be charged. RD was paid by us in full at booking. (stupid mistake). But RD sent the hotel only $700 of the $1700 for the two night stay. After RD sent me an email saying that the hotel would not waive the penalty (a lie), we got the hotel to give me an email waiving the penalty but that they only received a portion of the funds from RD. I copied all the emails and proof of payments/charges to RD requesting that they acknowledge the hotel's waiver of cancelation penalty. It's been over 2 weeks since that request, and instead of a response, I've been barraged by surveys and promotions for more bookings through them. So we are out $1,000. RD stole our money, refused to acknowledge my proof and has ignored my every attempt at communication. Do not use them. Book directly with the hotel. RD will make communications and legitimate refunds a nightmare.

I booked a hotel on May 25th, 2022@ 15:41. I realized I had booked the wrong city so 3 minutes later I canceled the reservation. I called them to make sure that I would be refunded my money and they stated that the cancellation policy was that I had to cancel before May 23rd, which is impossible because I booked two days later. After finally getting someone on the phone, they told me that I would need to call the hotel and have them email me that they approve waiving the cancellation fee (also note that the hotel had none of my information, so this reservation company never sent anything over to them) and then I would need to forward them that email. I spoke with the manager, Karen and she was more than happy to assist. I forwarded the email Karen sent to me to waive the fee to the email the customer support agent had told me (*******@reservationcounter.com) on 06/02/22. I heard nothing back so I sent a follow up email on 06/03/22 asking for an update. No refund, no email back, so I emailed them one more time on 06/13/22 and still have not heard back after almost a week. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, and by the way I am not one to write reviews good or bad.

Answer: It's a complete scam. What booking company takes your payment in full for the room months in advance and then you cancel months in advance and then they not refund your money! TOTAL SCAM! 110% scam!
Answer: You are really not talking to a supervisor when you ask to speak with a supervisor. They have terrible customer service and hung up on me when I insisted on talking to someone above the person who would not help me. Seriously! Read some script and then hung up on me. I cannot get a refund. Do NOT use this service. They scam you into believing that you are talking to a representative of the hotel. When I called them to get my money back, the so called, "Supervisor," hung up on me and would not let me speak to her supervisor. Very unprofessional conduct. I would never hang up on a customer. She read some script over the phone to me and then hung up on me. DO NOT USE this scamming outfit. You have been warned!
Answer: They were deceptive. I googled to call the motel directly and I do not recall if I asked them specifically am I calling the motel directly, but they answered reservation desk, so I thought I was calling the Motel, and they never told me otherwise.
