Scammers

I am in a back-and-forth with Reservationdesk.com. We booked to stay at The Fountains at ChampionsGate in Orlando/Kissimmee. I have until 11/17/2022 to cancel the reservation. I had reserved feelings about the company. My family decided to move our reunion to Miami. I tried to cancel the reservation on 11/09/2022, and the system would not let me do so. I called the next day; the customer service rep could not cancel the reservation either and told me he would need to escalate the issue to another team. The next thing I received was an email stating that they received my request and the hotel was investigating my request. I responded to the email questioning what investigation is needed to refund my payment if I am within the cancellation period. I contacted the hotel, and they assured me they were not investigating my reservation. I did a conference call with the hotel and reservation desk, and the hotel told them to refund me and not to charge any service fee. Whenever I receive communication via email, they are sticking to the story that the hotel is investigating me. Sadly there are 176 other folks that this company duped, and no one is doing anything to help us. They remain in business, and more folks fall prey to their scheme.

Booked the Embassy Suites in Savannah through Reservation Desk.com on 10/13/2022, for a one night stay, on 10/23/2022. At check out on 10/24/22, I was informed that payment for the from Reservation Desk.com, had not been received, and my credit card was charged again for the room which I paid for on 10/13/22, through Reservation Desk.com. I contacted Customer Service at Reservation Desk, on 10/25/22. I was asked to send proof of the charge on my credit card and the Hotel charge on my credit card, which I submitted. To date Reservation Desk, has not paid the Embassy Suites, and my credit card has been billed twice for the charge Reservation Desk will not respond to my calls or e-mails regarding resolution. They have my money. Please! Do not book through this entity. They are scammers. Once they get your money, it is all over. Stay away from Reservation Desk.com, as they are not a reputable company/agency. I am reporting them to the BBB in my area and the BBB where this entity is located.

Reservation desk is the worst booking agent I have ever used! We booked a hotel through them specifically asking for one that had a pool that we could use it was October in western New York they said the hotel had a pool after we booked it we found out the hotel had a seasonal pool that was closed we immediately called them to cancel our reservation which was nonrefundable they told us they would give an answer to us in 5 to 6 days whether they would refund our money we received the answer and it was no the information they give you is not always correct beware of this company. I will never use them again there are so many better booking agencies out there to use when you're traveling

I don't like to go through 3rd party reservations. I clicked on the website of the hotel I am staying at and it took me to this website. I didn't realize I was on a 3rd party reservation website when booking my hotel. I needed to make a change 10 hours after making my reservation. I accidentally chose the wrong check out day. I called to correct my mistake and I was told they would have to cancel the whole reservation that cost: $1061. 48 for 3 days and refund me $694.66, Keeping $366.82.
Then remake my reservation which would be $776.62. So adding the 366.82 that they kept and the new charge of 776.62 the stay would've ended up costing me 1163. 44..

Terrible Customer CARE

Days Inn by Wyndham Mt Pleasant-Charleston-Patriots Point, Johnnie Dodds Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SC, USA booked for Oct 5, 6, 7 and 8. The rooms were dirty, there was major construction with the roof. Debris were being tossed over our head to a ground floor dumpster, the electrical wires were hanging everywhere, the room was disgustingly dirty, and the front desk lady would not help to accommodate us in any fashion. Contacted Reservation Desk and they did nothing to help. I got a screw in my front tire from the construction in which I have to now replace a $300 tire! Was awaken by the construction at 6am the first morning, went to the front desk and the lady working had an attitude as well as the cleaning crew that was in the office. The second morning was awakened at 3:36am. No hot water in the shower and the front desk did not care. The second day I went to the front desk and finally, a lady that was concerned for our health and respected that we did not get any sleep gave us a second room away from the construction. The second room was dirty, the floors leave your feet black, and shoes was a full-time requirement. Worse experience I have ever had with a booking agency and the hotel!

I was charged $121.20 for a $67.99 room in Medford Oregon. The agent spoke poor English and when I questioned the price, she told me all rooms were booked because of conventions and that was best price I could get. I was leaving Florida after hurricane to get home. I am elderly and I feel she lied to me and took advantage of me. Can't get in touch with a supervisor now that I am home. BEWARE of this scam.

Garbage. Booked me the wrong room, when I tried to adjust all of a sudden there were no more rooms. Then to cancel I have to call 3 different numbers and I was charged $15 for THEIR MISTAKE! Absolute Garbage! I do NOT recommend!

Total Scam

Site is set up to make you believe that you are dealing directly with Travelodge and when you find out that they have charged you 50% tax and other fees which included an hidden fee of $14.99 should be no more than 15% in Ontario, you try to cancel the reservation but find out that in order to cancel your reservation free of charges you would need to cancel one day prior to making the reservation which is an impossibility! Hard to believe that the chain of hotels that include Travelodge would have anything to do with Scammers the likes of Reservation Desk. I advised them of the thievery that I suffered at the hands of Reservation Desk but all they came back with was that I needed to deal directly with Reservation Desk!

The booking agent had such a heavy Indian accent that I couldn't understand him. I requested another agent but was refused. I asked for a hotel reservation for the state of Washington, but was booked into a hotel with a completely different name in Ohio and then Washington DC! When I requested a refund, it was denied. NEVER book a hotel through this incompetent company. If you do, you can be sure that they will make errors in your reservation and you will regret it. ZERO stars.

Scam Artists and losers

I called Holiday Inn in Elgin Illinois and somehow ended up with these losers. They recommended Lexington Inn in Elgin Illinois as a great alternative. Unfortunately, the hotel was really bad. Smelled like cat urine and bleach. My wife broke down in tears and would not let our children stay there. We attempted to cancel the reservation due to the bad conditions and both the hotel and booking service refused. We lost $400 to these scam artists. Never had a bad hotel booking experience like this before. From now on, will definitely read the reviews and will contribute so that others will not suffer like my family did. Wish I had more recourse other than writing online reviews.

Used this site not realizing that they were a third party site and thought they were part of Hilton! The man on the phone kept me on the phone for a long time and wouldn't connect me to the front desk ( first red flag)! Secondly couldn't give me the rate they offered! Thirdly told me he could get me a first floor room (Vertigo) and also promised early checkin and parking! After giving me giving a credit card, he finally gave me the front desk phone number! I had to call to confirm and found out I would have to call at 7 am the day of the booking to possibly get the first floor! Also the hotel never got any of the requests ( 1st floor, early checkin, parking)! We arrived at the Hilton to a dog constantly barking in the room next door but they couldn't move us because we had a third party reservation! Beware of who is posing as a Hilton! Second time burned!
