They charged me almost 2x what the room was actually. They took my card information over the phone and the hotel they set me up in was absolutely horrible. The first room had trash in the fridge and the second room had cigarettes in the window of the non-smoking room. When I called to ask why it was so much more than the 178 I was pretty much told to go screw myself because they have to make money some way. I could understand if it was a charge for 200 instead of 178 because they would still make money, but 344 is ridiculous. No way to get my money back or any sort of refund either.
As nearly all other reviews of this despicable company let me warn you NEVER to book with RESERVATIONDESK.COM, a fraud of a company. First, somehow when I googled to reserve the hotel I chose their number came up and not the hotel. Only later did I learn I could have booked directly with hotel. Somehow they are able to insert themselves. Without going into the copious details let me just say that the GM of the hotel REFUNDED my $920.00 as there was an issue with the hotel but had to do so to reservationdesk.com and then they were supposed to put it back on my credit card. It was NEVER done and will never be done. This company needs to be taken down by the government and I am going to report them to the proper authorities and encourage all of you that have been harmed to do so as well.

Hello, I had a work trip planned and when I attempted to cancel (work plans changed) and accept the cancellation fee the customer service rep (Alexandra) became passive-aggressive and rude and kept speaking over me and repeating the cancellation policy when I wasn't even disputing it. In fact, the trip was made already after the date for the cancellation policy. I was just trying to get the amount to be refunded when she again repeated the cancellation policy that I was not disputing. She then called me back and accused me of hanging up on her and said she would not cancel my reservation and then asked me if I wanted to cancel it. So very strange. After attempting to escalate it to a manager, she said none were available and I had to call back. Well, every time I did, she answered and repeated the same and said I could not be called back by a manager. Is this correct? If future business is important, I would really like to talk to a manager, so this unnecessary and unpleasant experience does not happen to someone else. I booked a room for three nights and my event canceled. I called to cancel my reservation a week in advance and was told their policy was no refund.

As long as everything goes as planned they are ok to use but events change, life changes and Reservation Desk does not care what your situation is. I tried several times to explain my situation and all they kept saying was "no refund is our policy"!
Not only am I out the cost of the hotel plus taxes they charged me an extra $15 fee.
All that money and I won't even use the room. This is why I think they are a scam!

I called and made a reservation for two nights and Oscar told us the cheapest price we could get was $105 a night so I went ahead and made the reservation. When I got the confirmation text it said $189 a night. Called hotel to make sure I wasn't charged the extra and she said their price was $99 a night. We went ahead and made the reservation thru the front desk. There was an option in reservation desk to cancel so we did that. I called to see if we would get refunded and was told no refunds. I asked if we could go ahead and get the room then since it had been less than 10 minutes and he said no they would have to charge it as a new booking. I was not only out what they charged for our cancelled booking but we were also charged $15.99 booking service fee. Will never use them again!

I stayed here in room 4107 Jan 12-16 2003 for my anniversary & was treated to a screaming baby in the adjoining room. When I spoke to the desk- they lied and said the other guests were checking out that day. Surprise- they did not. Night two of the screeching child brought me on the phone to a manager- I believe her name was Bernadette. I asked to be moved to another room and she said there were no other comparable rooms available. Good business they are doing to be fully booked! She offered security - not sure what the plan was there to have security quell a screaming baby? Oh and she offered me earplugs. Thanks a lot Bernadette. When I told her earplugs and security would not fix the problem- she said "since I booked with a third party vendor, I would have to speak with them". So apparently I was a squatter here at the luxurious mandalay bay- or at least made to feel like one. In the end- they gave me a $100 resort credit, which I didn't want, I was not looking for a refund, ann upgrade, or anything I hadn't paid for… all I wanted was a room in which I could sleep. I was awake Friday until Sunday except for falling asleep during the lovely show I booked Saturday - all thanks to my exhaustion courtesy of Mandalay Bay. This was a trip to celebrate my anniversary, and it was the worst trip I have ever taken. Thanks Mandalay Bay & your amazing employee; Bernadette.

They took my money and gave me a hotel room I literally could not get to on the third floor. For weeks long reservation. Then the sassy foreign phone rep was so rude about it!

This was a horrible experience and a really, really nasty place. Came for a funeral with my daughter and could barley stomach the night. Beds were awful, comforters had cigarette burns, blood and god knows what else on them. Booked a non smoking room for two nights. Left the next morning and said they would refund me. That will never happen. Talked to 8 different people on the phone and could never get anything done. Avoid this dump!

Had to cancel our room due to family medical emergency. It took 7 weeks to get a refund and we had to get the hospital/doctors to write a explanation of why it was a medical emergency. That was a total waste of medical professionals and my time. They were terrible any time I called to request an update on the refund process as each time it took at least 25 minutes to even talk to someone that attempted to explain why. It was always the same "their policy"... I would highly recommend that no one ever uses reservationdesk.com to book hotels or any other travel needs. It is fine if you do not incur a problem but if you do I know you will be as disappointed as I was and will regret ever using their site. Not sure how they get a 90% satisfaction rating I can only guess that 90 % of the time you don't need to cancel or adjust your travel plan. But if you are in the 10 % that needs to cancel or change something you will be 100% disappointed and frustrated with their impossible refund process. Extremely poor process and a big waste of time and money.

I love staying at Motel 6 in Alexandria LA. The bosses Mr. Nick and Mr. Patel are good people and good supervisors. I like the way they keep up Motel 6. If you are not good people they will make sure you leave Motel 6 l have been staying here for two years and three months in extended stay. I love it. Now they are remodeling their rooms and l can't wait till l get I'm my new room. Go Motel 6.

We reserved a room for one night near Dallas airport in July through Reservationdesk.com. The hotel charged us for the night, saying they never received payment from Reservationdesk.com. Many calls to Reservationdesk.com were futile. They say they will look into it and call back. It does not happen. I have initiated a dispute with my credit card company. On top of everything Reservationdesk.com charges $14.99 just to make the reservation that you can make for free from the hotel directly. I will never use this company again and caution users that having a "confirmation" and receipt does not matter. Extremely poor customer service.

After making hotel reservations through reservationdesk.com we arrived in New York to find out the hotel we had reservations and confirmation number had no reservations.
There we were in Manhattan luggage in hand out on the streets of the city.

I needed to book a room at a Hampton in South Carolina. I mistakenly accessed this company thinking it was the hotel site. The whole experience was confusing because the agent was extremely difficult to understand. I asked about cancellation and she clearly told me that I could cancel the reservation free of charge until about a week before the reservation. (I wrote down the dates so as not to forget) When I received the confirmation, the last date for canceling was BEFORE I even made the reservation. Stay away from this scam.

Misleading website thinking you are calling hotel, charge extreme amount for "taxes and fees" they refuse to break down

When this bulk purchase is made, the taxes and fees have already been added to the reservations by the hotel suppliers and are not itemized when we receive them. Your total price includes all the taxes and fees required to complete your reservation. We do not have this information as it was not provided to us, therefore, we cannot pass the information on to the customer. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Do not go there. It is fraudulous. I thought I was talking to the Hotel directly. 45' on the phone for a simple reservation. Too much information not understandable. Agent does not seem sincere at all. Reservation made with the highest price- Hotel $133 + taxes $173.34.
Credit card debited in a minute. When we realized the problem, we asked for the cancellation. They charged $ 16 for it. We booked directly to the Hotel $119 + taxes $ 136.85. Do not trust at all Reservation desk.

Answer: It's a complete scam. What booking company takes your payment in full for the room months in advance and then you cancel months in advance and then they not refund your money! TOTAL SCAM! 110% scam!
Answer: You are really not talking to a supervisor when you ask to speak with a supervisor. They have terrible customer service and hung up on me when I insisted on talking to someone above the person who would not help me. Seriously! Read some script and then hung up on me.
