Being a Best Western rewards member I was on the highway and Googled B. W. near where we were and got the Ontario, OR location. I clicked B. W. and it took me to their website where there was a link for reservations. I did not understand what the gentlemen said when he answered (later he said his name was Chris), it was like he had marbles in his mouth, but I was told I was talking to Best Western Ontario, OR reservations not Reservation Desk. I also was told my total charge, which seemed quite high, but that it included $25 pet charge and never gave a breakdown of the charges. He told me he could not offer any discounts which seemed odd and he couldn't find my rewards number in the system but they could add it at the front desk. All this time I'm under the impression I was talking direct to Best Western. When I got to the hotel I was charged again for my pet! The girl gives me some song and dance that I had to pay it because i made the reservation with Priceline. I was shocked to find this out! I was already told by fake B. W. rep that I couldn't get a refund so I felt held hostage as we needed to rest. I get the email confirmation from Reservation Desk and nowhere does it say Priceline so again I was duped. On my credit card statement it says Priceline. So what company is ripping me off? The room charge is $126.13, $42.52 in taxes and fees (which should include the pet charge) and another $14.99 service charge that wasn't disclosed when I made the reservation! My 2nd pet charge was $22. Reservation Desk is a total scam company because any legit company would disclose who they were.
First of all they will tell you that they are the hotel you are trying to get in touch with! Booked a room... and they booked it at the wrong hotel... in the wrong type of room... under the wrong name. Wrong email address. Then they refused to consider refunding the money until they could "review" the reservation... 72 hours... they will take your money in full when you book and will not refund for any reason. I called them 8 times. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told by 2 different people that they did not know the name of the supervisor.

I find myself witting this review out frustration and with no one to turn to. I recently did a reservation Thru Reservation Desk, com called their number to book a room in Sheboygan Wisconsin for four nights. First flag should have been that they had to break my reservation of four nights into three different reservations. Second flag That i should have notice is the constant placement on hold by their customer service personnel. But what really placed the icing on the cake was when I asked the front desk at the hotel I was staying for a copy to provide my company for reimbursement. When I viewed the statements and the difference in cost was an eye opener. Double the amount that I should have paid, Now I clearly understand that there will be a fee to pay for the service they provide and I have no issue with that. What I don't understand is the service fee+ TAX + another service that they can not explain. So for a room that would normal cost $112.00 they end up charging $162.12 per night. This site is a rip off to the consumer who is looking for a fair price and help. I will never reserve thru them again. And you my friend out there are thinking of reserving thru them you better think twice because the will cheat you too,

On 05/09/2022, The service rep for reservationdesk.com booked a room for me at the Candlewood Suites in Mt. Pleasant, TX, not Mt. Pleasant, SC, where I needed to be. After I checked with the correct hotel almost immediately (something didn't sound right on the call even though the service rep kept assuring me all was in order) and found no reservation, I cancelled my reservation through reservation desk.com immediately. No wiggle room on the $14.99 service charge, even though they did absolutely nothing for me. I was charged for the "pleasure" of having them screw up my hotel reservation, and causing me extra effort. I did not use them further for my trip plans, nor will I use them again. I am just glad I checked the reservation status at my intended hotel immediately after my call. Otherwise, I would have been standing at the check in desk in Mt. Pleasant, SC with no reservation, and the Candlewood Suites in Mt. Pleasant, TX would have been charging my credit card for at least one night's stay. Be wary of this site/service.

I was trying to book a reservation with Lady Luck/Isle of Capri. I incorrectly booked with Lulu, MS on the ReservationDesk site but meant to book with Black Hawk, CO. When I arrived at Black Hawk and noone could find me, it was discovered via confirmation email that I had booked for Lulu, MS. Luckily they had a room and I booked again. I called ReservationDesk to cancel and get most of my money back and was told NO.

I do not usually write bad things about any company but... RESERVATION DESK. COM never booked my hotel. I drove 652 miles yesterday to find out I do not have a reservation. Its graduation week. Nothing was avalible... NOTHING! My husband and I had to sleep in the car. Thank goodness I found a room for tonight. I am more than upset. I would never recommend this site.

I called to book the Hyatt Regency in Houston, TX. I asked to speak to a Supervisor because the online price was lower than what the representative provided. The Supervisor advised me that the online price was incorrect and most of the time guest a required to pay the difference upon checking out. Additionally, he told me this was the last room they had so it's best I book with him. I was told if I change my mind I could cancel with no issues. He failed to tell me about the $14.99 non refundable agent fee. A few days later I decided to look again and saw that this hotel did in fact have rooms still available. I reached out to reservation desk on Saturday 5/21 and after a 20 mins attempt to get past a rep to a Supervisor I was hung up on. DO
NOT CONTACT THIS PLACE! THEY ARE BASED IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY AND OFFER OVER PRICED ROOMS AND LIES!

Booked country inn and suites. Had to leave early. Inn said that I had to call reservations deck to get my refund. Inn said that they will honor refund. Reversation desk said they would call and email for verification. Two later got email from reversation desk that refund was denied because they could not get through to the inn. I called the inn was told no one from reversation desk had notified them. Call reversation back and asked to speak to a supervisor. After 10 minutes on hold came on the line and said the same thing that they did not get a reply. I called him a liar. He didn't know what to say. But said that he would again reach out to the inn for confirmation. Saud it would take 3 to 5 days for a response. Very dissatisfied with the whole team at reversation desk. Also charged me 14.99 to book and never said that at the being of our conversation.

If I were able to give zero stars, I will be pleased to do it. This people plays ping pong with you if an inconvinience occurs. I reserved a room on Hilton Hartford just to attend Journey's concert. The day before the concert it was postponed. At this day we have no date for it. That same day I called Hilton, they told be I have to speak with Reservation Desk, and I did it. They told me I will receive an email regarding this matter. After 10 days I called to know what happened with my money, and they said they can't do nothing. First they said they will address the issue, then they said they have to do nothing with it. In the meantime I was the one who have lost the money. RECOMMENDATION: If you need to make a hotel reservation go straight to the Hotel, and don't waste your time with tricky sites!

The hotel I was booking for has 100% refund policy if cancelled within 24 hours. I just spoke with their General Manager and confirmed this policy. Reservation Desk charged me up front for the booking and is refusing a refund saying the Hotel's policy is this was a non-refundable booking. This is a complete lie.

ReservationDesk.com's incompetent booking agent booked us into the wrong hotel. Instead of Red Lion Inn and Suites in Dayton, Ohio, they booked us into a run-down motel where the clerk was protected by bullet-proof glass. Drug addicts were hanging out front. It is called Air View Inn and it is not fit for human occupation. We are having trouble recouping our funds because ReservationDesk.com staff are giving us the run-around. We are not letting them get away with their crime and will pursue it to the highest level. They also ripped us off for a $15.00 booking fee, which we were unaware of and was not told to us!

I made a reservation (by mistake) by calling this company. I thought that I was talking to the actual hotel front desk. I was driving and trying to call a hotel while driving. Our travel plans then changed. We actually stopped at the hotel to cancel the reservation. We were told at the hotel that we could not cancel it. I immediately used by cell phone to cancel the reservation. Then a day later, I get billed for the full amount and am told that I cannot get a refund. Do NOT use this service. They scam you into believing that you are talking to a representative of the hotel. When I called them to get my money back, the so called, "Supervisor," hung up on me and would not let me speak to her supervisor. What was she afraid of? Very unprofessional conduct. I would never hand up on one of my customers. She read some script over the phone to me and then hung up on me. DO NOT USE this scamming outfit. You have been warned!

Called to book our stay in Canton Mississippi for a family reunion and 5 night stay.
Spoke with a gentleman and told him our dates and he repeated them back to us several times, said he would need our card number to charge room I explained that when we got to Mississippi our nephew was paying for room. He said usually they take the whole payment but he would check if there was something they could do. When he came back he said could I pay one night he could have the room held, so I did.
Went to print reservation out before I could open it asked for a review I gave all 10's.
My husband just happened to see it on table and look at and he said he booked us for Canton, Michigan! I immediately called back and of course got another agent named Jennifer she said I would have to cancel everything and she waved fee for cancellation not only did he put us in another state he booked our room for over 30 day stay but when I started to complain about now am I going to get same rate he quoted and we agreed upon she said she had no control over that so the I asked if she would find out the rate and price for the right state and right amount of days she said oh it is going to cost you a few hundred more. I decided to call hotel for myself and spoke with a young man who said you are not the only one this has happened to!
I asked if he could please tell me there rate and how much for the stay because the woman said it would be hundreds more! That was a lie! It was very reasonable price also he gave us a discount as well for our terrible experience. I will definitely be notifying Windham about this.

I supposedly had a reservation for 2 rooms at FairBridge Inn in Baton Rouge La April 30. I get the the people said they was sold out. Now I'm looking for a another rooms have my AAU kids with. Immediately contact them told I would have my refund on 24 to 48 business hours. It's 5 business days later and still. Getting the tuna round straight up $#*!ing scam. Do not book with these areas.

Reservation Desk refused to modify a reservation that I had made less than 24 hours ago. Customer service and their supervisors (Chris) are mindless minions that can only read from a script. This service should be avoided. They will no doubt go out of business.

This is very concerning to us that the hotel supplied you a rate different from the one that they provided us. If the hotel is willing to honor the rate, then we would be more than happy to refund you the difference. In this case, we have contacted the hotel directly and they did not agree to honor the rate on the receipt. Because the hotel has already charged us for this reservation, we are unable to process a refund without their authorization.
If a booking is for more then one day and you require to cancel one but not all nights you cannot do that. You must cancel the entire booking " Our system will not allow us to cancel specific nights"
Even if the hotel that you have requested is completely sold out. The hotel can also not change this booking or hold the day you would like to keep. Utter bull$#*! that in 2022 we cannot cancel specific days and they can steal money that someone requests to change prior to the cancellation deadline. Also is does not say anywhere in the cancelation police about this inability to change the reservation. It also requires me to select a star to rate my experience. It is a Zero star review.

I cannot believe how bad the customer service is for this company. This company tricks you into thinking that you are booking directly through the hotel and charges astronomical fees and taxes. I requested to cancel and request a refund for the $980 I was charged for 2 nights at a Westin and the Reservation desk manager I escalated my situation to said to me in a rude tone, 'you'll never get a refund, go ahead and write a bad review, it'll never happen.' That is one of many examples of the low quality of this business and its employees. STEER CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS, it is fraudulent and a scam.

Answer: They were deceptive. I googled to call the motel directly and I do not recall if I asked them specifically am I calling the motel directly, but they answered reservation desk, so I thought I was calling the Motel, and they never told me otherwise.
