Terrible customer service telling us whatever we want to hear and ridiculous service of not picking up the trash on at least a 1/4 mile stretch of the road. Several houses are not getting their trash picked up. It's been over 3 weeks and we have called multiple times and each time we are able to get through, after long hold times, we are told the trash is getting picked up that day.
Please ask about Delivery fee" they just let you know about the quarter fee but never mention a "Delivery Fee", I spoke to a rude as representative Tammy and she only said that she apologized about the information, I didn't even used the container I called a day after the delivery to cancel the service, a week later I received a bill for the delivery charge.
I told this representative a apology it's that going to fix the misinformation given, because they do not provide with the acquire information. If I was inform before to order I would never order it!
DO NOT USE Republic for waste removal services! We moved and I gave them plenty of notice ahead of time to transfer services. Despite this, I still had a feeling they wouldn't come and we had a ton of trash due to the move, so I called the day before our pick up day to make sure it would be picked up. I was told we were on the route and they would add a note to make sure it got picked up. Sure enough, the next day rolled by and NO PICKUP. I called again around 1:30pm and was told the routes go until 5:00pm so they probably just hadn't been there yet but I was on the route. Did they pick up my trash later that day? Nope! Called for a third time the following day, was told because of their routes they won't be able to get to it until tomorrow morning. This shouldn't matter since they clearly don't follow their routes, which I know because I was repeatedly told I was on their route yet they still didn't show up to pick up my trash. It is now the following morning and as of 11:12am it still hasn't been picked up. Also when you call it will take a minimum of 12-15 minutes before you actually get a hold of anyone, not that it matters since nothing useful will be gleamed from the conversation. I will say the 4th person I talked to, Charles, was nice and helpful and seemed genuinely apologetic. Charles aside I would rate this company very poorly.
I am not happy with Republic services trash company. They picked up my first week of trash after I just got in service with them after that they picked up one bag here one bag there. I ended up with Thanksgiving trash all the way up to Christmas trash they still hadn't picked up my trash. The city of Aurora even contacted me and gave me a violation and said that if I did not pick up my trash that they were going to hire someone to do it for me because it was a biohazard because of all that food. Now they're charging me for three months and I had canceled prior to that now I am in collections for $150. They never did refund me the amount they should have and they actually owe me money for not picking up my trash for the month and a half. I would not recommend republic service trash as your trash company unless you want to be set up for failure.
I was moving and needed to schedule a pick-up of a mattress. I tried to do it online but they're not set up for that. I tried calling several times over the period of a week leading up to my move and each time I was put on hold for several hours before I had to hang up and get on with my life. How does this company stay in business? They're awful.
They want to charge me for services not rendered I canceled my service around June 1 before time to pay they are trying to charge me for picking up my can and 35 dollars for them stopping my service along with the MO. Fee of 3 MO they not getting a dime more out if this old woman mad as he'll they want 165 dollars for nothing

Republic refuses to refund people what they owe after cancelling services, then states they don't owe what they force you to pay 3 months in advance saying they are additional admin fees and can pick up. You can not charge admin fees for services not rendered, they refuse to break down the billing once you cancel and just say you have to pay it without refunding what you paid ahead. Well they need to pay what is owed to the customer! Corrupt theives base rate of $67.80 quarterly but invoice shows over $94 they refuse your refund saying admin fees for NO SERVICES RENDERED!
I ordered Trash Containers 2 weeks ago. On the day they were supposed to deliver, I called twice to make sure they will deliver both times they said YES and I never got it. I called the next day and NOW they are telling me they dont have it in stock and they dont know when I will get them
This company never picks up. 6 weeks of issues with no end in sight. Horrible at calling back, horrible at picking up, horrible all the way around. I am going to switch service with another provider. Do not use them.
If things go as planned, Republic is fine. However, if a mistake happens and they forget to pick it up your trash you are essentially screwed. Spent probably close to three hours on hold over a period of several days, spoke to several people, was told I'd be called back by many, given days it would be picked up, and yet my trash still rains not picked up. My trash is disgusting and their customer service is the same.
Missed trash 5 times within month and a half. Promised to call back, never got a call back. Had to wait extremely long time on phone just to get them to come back and get it. They've left the garbage can just laying on the ground blowing trash all over yard. Gave one star because cant give less.
I live at the bottom of the cult-a-sac and they have missed picking up every other week when I call for a reschedule it never happens when you call the customer service girls are the only one who act like they care if you want a supervisor plan on a two hour or longer wait when one finally gets on he acts like he doesn't have time to deal with you and still got no results got feed up and tried to cancel two weeks later trash still here $#*! COMPANY
We loyally used them for 24 years and they ended up gouging us in the end. After not missing a payment in 24 years they charged us multiple late fees after we canceled our service. We will never use this company again. Find a different company if you can.

Price gougers, poor service and hard to reach to cancel service. It took 4 weeks holding on line over 15 minutes each time I called to get them to answer their phones. Went up to twice what other companies charge. And service was sloppy and they skipped weeks. Do Not Use This Waste Service. They charge you 30.00 to take your trash can back on the last pick up when canceled.
I've had several issues with Republic waste. We use them for our trash and yard waste. The have missed either service several times and the price just went from $85 per quarter to $161 per quarter and that is JUST for trash. I already paid in full yard waste. Waited on hold 45 minutes to cancel my service. They said you can only cancel at the end of the month and there is a $30 fee to pick up the cans. Go to a company called Surburban out of Savage. $60 a quarter with no added fees...
Save yourself the headache and find a different trash collecting company. Organization will send out e-mails reading that just are not picking up this week. No rebate for missed week just trash left at curb. Very unprofessional and indifferent customer service.
I am the on-site manager for a Condominium in Fresno. We have consistently had problems with our scheduled pickups, which can become a huge problem when it services many people. I have tried for YEARS to maintain patience, however,, it hasn't resolved the problems. At first they would respond immediately. However, now it doesn't happen! They sat they'll take care of it. They argue they've been out when they indeed have not. Does anyone know what measures can be taken to resolve these problems? Looking for an answer, Hugely Discouraged
Bad service, plus they want you to wash everything out that is recycled. If an item has one bit of food partical then they trash it. Think about how much water we WAIST washing out the trash. Water is more valuable than trash. Then when I ask them to pic up the trash bin they want a massive amount to do that. You can't drop it off at their place. My rating is a -10!
