We ordered two red eyed tree frogs from this service. They were supposed to be delivered within 30 days, it took them 34 days to get here. This wouldn't have been a huge issue had the seller communicated at all. We had to call multiple times before finally figuring out when our frogs would arrive, not to mention how rude the service rep was.

After the frogs finally did arrive in their poorly packaged unmarked box, we removed them and they both thankfully were in decent health. I say decent because 2 days later, one of the frogs has already died and the other appears to be in poor health.

I would not order nothing from them. They do really bad business. Cussed me out when I questioned him about not receiving my order after 3 weeks.he said he would just refund my money and be done with me. After I received qheckos that were in very poor shape and had scars all over them. Also they are skinny and unhealthy.the attitude the guy hate it's a wonder how he even has custumers. I decided to get my refund even though I prolly will not receive it since other people have had the same problem. I got lizards from them before and they were four lizards crammed in I really tiny box. It's a wonder how they even lived through that. They have newspaper stuffed in the box and I guess that was for a heat source. Idk but if your Thinking about ordering from them I would strongly reconsider. You will be unhappy even if you receive a your animals they won't be healthy.

I ordered 2 Clown Tree Frogs, a Green Tree Frog and 2 Eastern Newts. The first order had my address wrong. I contacted customer service because I never received it. Both customer service and myself tried to track down the order. I finally found the order at our local USPS Annex. By the time I received it, the animals were dead. We had very cold weather and the heat pack ran out. I called customer service back and told them what happened. I received an apology and my order was reshipped at no cost to me, FEDEX Overnight and my critters arrived warm and healthy. The only thing I would say needs improving is that "Live Animals" was written on the package. The postal service worker said they would have treated the package differently while at their facility.

I ordered a baby Timor Monitor from Reptile City a few weeks ago. So far he's doing great, I am really impressed. He arrived safe and sound a few days ago and was eating within seconds of me giving him some crickets, and seems very comfortable being held, both very impressive considering his species' general demeanor, being known to not eat for a few days and being very skittish and shy. Not my boy! He was very perky and seems very comfortable being held (he'll just sit on my palm or sometimes crawl around and explore)
Shipping was a little later than expected but I do appreciate how communicative they were about it and ready to answer any of my questions when I contacted them. They seem like a very busy business with the customers best interest in mind, I hope to buy again sometime in the future, thank you for your business! :)

Excellent Service

I ordered a brazilian rainbow boa from them and she arrived perfect and healthy. She was packed just as well if not better than other companies pack their animals. Everything was labeled correctly and it was shipped over night. When she arrived she was very active and nipping which was a great sign that she was healthy. Had great communication with Mr Felton Willis as there was delays with getting my order shipped due to the bad weather. 10/10 would order from them again.

I wanted to give my experience that just happened an hour ago. I ordered buy one get one free three inch captive bred Whites tree frogs.The owner claimed they would be here today overnight shipping. USPS said the 29th so I of course assumed the worst. Well the owner unexpectedly called me this morning assuring me they would be here. Right at 9am they were delivered express. Three inch long and perfect. One even has some snowflakes. They were in nice deli cups with slightly damp paper towel and extremely well wrapped in newspapers that were warm through with heat packs. Insulated box labeled this side up and live harmless animal. They were so perky they hopped their cups over lol. I cant speak for others but great specimens, great packaging and communication. I had removed the paper towel for a quick pic and they are climbing all over the quarantine tank currently. Very pleased!

A waste

Terrible customer service, was suppose to receive 7 turtles and a water dragon in 3-5 days but it took almost two weeks, turtle (deformed foot with a gash on its head) and water dragon (obviously sick) both died a week after I recieved them, charged me for shipping even though I qualified for free shipping because I spent over 100 said I would get a refund, had to contact them a week and a half later because I still had no refund in account, told me they had to speak with accounting which obviously they never did in a week and a couple days, so I told them I would like to have a Jackson chameleon being that I was charged 40 dollars for shipping and the chameleon was 40 being the price was the same, they agree and said I would receive chameleon 3-5 days once again, I contacted them about 7 days later because I still havent received, so they became upset because I questioned them about the whole situation with no explanation on why I havent received the chameleon even though they told me it was being shipped the day before because I email and asked when will it be shipped, so once again they said they would issue a refund of 40 so they could close the account and be done with it after I told them I would rather just receive the chameleon and be done with it. So now Im waiting on the refund which they claim will be posted in 24-48 hours. The whole experience was terrible and hard to deal with over a month dealing with one order!

The WORST!

Avoid these people! They sent me a very unhealthy - and expensive - Mata Mata turtle, which died shortly after I received it. They are clearly in business just for the buck and don't care about the animals they sell or their customers who buy them..

These people don't take care of there animals AT ALL they make horrible places like petco and pet smart look good. Im pretty sure if you order off craigs list you'll have better luck finding a healthy well cared for pet. These jackasses deserve to be out of business. Report them and never buy from them. I ordered two bearded dragons and one corn snake the corn snake came dead and the bearded dragons died 1 week later. Coming from someone who has a lot of experience with reptiles, THIS ISNT RIGHT AND ITS SAD. REPORT THEM!

A good friend ordered some bearded dragons, which arrived in normal mail, with absolutely nothing to signify live animals were in the box. Terrible, full of disease, died soon after. Please for the sake of these animals, report and stay away.

Thought I'd submit an update to my previous review from a couple months ago. The final scorpion that I ordered from this place has died. All of the other scorpions, which I have many, are all fine and healthy with absolutely no issues. It is not a coincidence that now literally every animal I ordered from this place is dead within a couple months. Regardless of the 2 or 3 positive reviews please stay away at all costs. If a place has a 90% negative rating (check BBB) then no further proof is needed. I'd almost bet money the positive reviews are paid reviews to make it seem like this business is decent. If they are not, I'm certain they will be feeling the pain when they find out the condition of their animals in a couple months. All it takes is a little time sometimes. Just don't risk it here, there are plenty other places.

I'm sickened to think of how these people are treating their animals. The customer service was horrific and the bearded dragon was sick. I have been trying to nurse it back to health since we recieved it 3 weeks ago. (Shipped with no live animal sticker!) I thought it was turning around, but the sweet beardie died yesterday. My son is devastated. I just hope that he felt loved here since he obviously came from terrible conditions. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Healthy Reptiles

I was a bit worried, after my purchase, to see and hear so many negative reviews and opinions in regards to ReptileCity.com. I qualified for free shipping, 3-5 days. I recieved an email on day 5, stating my pets were shipped, and that I could pick them up from my local post office the following day at 1:30pm. I went ahead and checking the tracking number, excited my babies were on the way. Glad I did! They arrived at my post office an hour BEFORE I recieved the shipping confirmation! I quickly retrieved my package. A small box, completely sealed with tape, and no lables or warnings that it was fragile or contained live animals. Inside the box, was 4 small clear deli containers(with the 4 animals), covered in newspapers, and topped with a heating pack. 2 baby snakes, a Smooth Green and a California King, arrived active and healthy. A baby Red Ear Slider turtle, also active and healthy. And a Red Claw Emperor scorpian, who appeared dead at first, but quickly perked up when placed in his new enclosure. All 4 are doing great so far, and already eating on their second day here. All and all, I am pleased with me experience with ReptileCity, but personally feel whole shipping process could use a bit of improving.

Thanks for the tarantula!

I just wanted to thankyou for my Brachypelma albopilosum (Honduran curly hair tarantula). She (or he... hasnt molted so I can sex it yet) not only arrived safe and sound, but is a beautiful healthy looking specimen with a VORACIOUS appetite, and is docile as can be. This is the 1st T I bought since my Grammostola porteri passed away 20 years ago, and I am so happy that you guys gave me a great T. Hope you enjoy the holidays!

Neglected Animals

I had ordered 1 baby corn snake and 2 salamanders. The USPS box had no holes or even a label stating to handle with care. The corn snake seemed okay, very skittish to get out of the little container with no air holes. The 2 salamanders were both dead, had contacted the company and their response proves how they don't care about the animals, it's just about the money.

Love my new Uro

My new Uromastyx from them is perfect. I ordered on a Monday and per their website shipping policy, my order would ship in 3-5 day and shipped on the 4th day. That was a Thursday to deliver on Friday. There was a hold up with shipping and I contacted the shop. They immediately called me back, tracked down my order, and arranged for it to be delivered on a Saturday. I know Saturday deliveries are costly and usually avoided. Reptile City went out of their way to ensure the safe and timely arrival of my uromastyx. They responded quickly to all of my emails, and even called me on the phone. Packaging was similar to other reptiles Ive ordered in the past so I have no complaints. And most importantly, my new uro is brightly colored, alert, and healthy looking. I will order from them again.

Sick waterdragon
October 16, 2017

Delivered sick baby water dragon. Has not eaten yet, lethargic from the start. Been 1week. Also has numerous nodules on skin that I think is a bacterial infection. Going to vet tomorrow. This is my second water dragon, so I dont think this will one will make it. Im keeping it barely alive with pedialyte and powdered supplements
