Scam: Caveat Emptor!

Ordered a $1,300 fifth wheel hitch on 9/22–was told it was in stock at Colorado warehouse; on 9/24, received a message it shipped; today (10/2), called them to learn it never shipped (and they gave me some BS story about how it was in stock in a Pennsylvania warehouse and I should hear back later today on updated shipping info. This review is the first in a series of how I intend to pursue any/all legal remedies to receive my $ back. This Company is horrible and I'm going to make sure everyone knows about it.

Shortage of order
September 29, 2020

I ordered a roll n lock bed cover and cargo manager early in 2020. I received the bed cover but never received the cargo manager. Many calls and attempts to resolve the problem have resulted in total lack of response. The item shorted was nearly a $300 item. Currently attempting to find process agent to initiate a law suit.

STAY AWAY

ZERO is the actual response - not 1. They are AWFUL for customer service as well as not showing the proper equipment to purchase on their website. Ordered something and only got partial of what was shown online. Requested a refund, over and over and over - left messages, sent emails and got early responses, however, later emails and requests were ignored. Been trying for over 3 weeks to get a return label to send product back.

Order and customer service

I ordered my running boards on 8/12 and on 8/13 they took the money out of my checking account. I received an email that my running boards would be here late Aug, which I was fine with. Then a week later I get another email that I would receive my running boards by Sept 12th. On 9/8 I contacted them asking for a tracking number since my order showed still pending. I had already done the live chat several times and kept getting the same answer that someone would be calling me. I never got a call back and that's why I contacted them thru their phone number. I was on hold for over 45 minutes. When a human FINALLY picked up I once again could never get an answer from them and got the same BS that someone would contact me about my order. Well, here it is now 9/18/20 and still no running boards and no answer as to why they haven't been shipped. I canceled my order with them on 9/18/20 and I will up date on when my money is put back in my account. I then went and ordered my N-Fab running boards thru N-Fab themselves and it was only. 01ct higher in price. Plus, I still got FREE shipping and my running boards will be here in 5 days or less. I will NEVER go thru this company EVER AGAIN! Horrible customer service and they LIE about the items being in stock. Please, just go straight to the manufacture for the item you need, cause this company is a RIP-OFF!

3rd party vender

This company is a third party vendor. They hold no physical stock. You order the product, pay for it. Then they order product from vendor have it shipped to you directly from vendor. So if you have a problem like I do, you can not deal with product vendor you need to deal with REAL TRUCK. When you talk to some one from REAL TRUCK, you are waiting for them to correspond with the other vendor. REAL TRUCK is very slow to respond back to consumer. Im waiting to return miss sent product so that i can receive my ordered product. I truly recommend that you deal with original manufacture before you deal with Real Truck. Dean.

Be very careful about shopping at Real Truck. I ordered a set of weather tech floor mats off of their website because they sent me an email for 10%off. My credit card was charged and I never heard anything else about my order. A week later I called to find out where my order was. I was told that I had not paid for my order yet. I contacted my credit card and it was billed the date of purchase. They blamed the accounting department for the problem. Instead of just sending me my products, they told me I would have to wait until the accounting department fixed the problem. They then could not tell me how long it would take. I canceled my order and was told that it would take 10 days to get a refund. Don't waste your time. DO NOT BY THINGS FROM HERE. Go somewhere else!

Ordered general grabber xts. Within 2 wks was sent email saying pushed out for 3 more wks. Then checked reviews on Realtruck.com. Boy it should be called Real #$@*ed.com. They never send out product. Just emails pushing off shipdate. And more emails to buy more of there crap! How bout sending me what I ordered? You took my MONEY! REAL SUCK COMPANY!

These people $#*!ing suck so $#*!ing bad! I've been waiting months to get my front bushwhacked fenders. The first time they sent them they never got to my door at all. Then the second time they sent them to my old address because no one does their $#*!ing job of checking emails. I informed them via email and by phone that I had moved. Also they sent me the wrong pieces to attach my nerf bars to my truck and swore up and down over the phone that they are the correct pieces. I've taken them to 4 mechanics now and none of them have been able to harness them with the mounts they have given me. $#*! this company!

I ordered a tool box, they charged my card, and 2 weeks later it still hadn't shipped. I asked them to cancel the order and refund my card - that was 3 days ago, they still haven't done so.

After the first fiasco I swore to never order from Real Truck again but my husband ordered again... on 6/5 and it's 8/27 and they have yet to return any calls or emails or deliver the parts! THEY ARE HORRIBLE! STAY AWAY

Worst company I have ever dealt with! I should have read the reviews first. I order a set of 5 wheels mounted on 5 tires for $3000. They took my payment right away, took a week to process my order and two weeks to ship. I was expecting to receive my wheels/tires in 3 weeks, so I wasn't upset about that. They were delivered by freight and all 5 mounted wheels were wrapped in tight plastic on a crate and dropped off by fedex (each wheel combo weighs 100lbs). I couldn't inspect them in time as the fedex driver had to complete his route. The wheels and tires were what I ordered, so that was ok. I was inspecting them as I was removing them from the plastic and crate. The top 3 where in great condition, but the bottom 2 had the wheels scraped and gouged. They were damaged in multiple places on the surface of both wheels. The damage could not have been done during shipping either, because the damaged areas were not exposed. The gouges were deep and the powder coat was scapes off. I called and emailed and called and emailed and finally spoke to two different people on two different occasions. One of them told me that they were going to send me a return label which they never did. The other told me to send her pictures of the damage (which I did) and she will contact the manufacturer and they will contact me within 4 days. I never heard from any one again. I continuously tried calling but always seem to have 5 hours worth of people in line in front of me. Sent multiple emails and never received a single response back. It's been a month. And I've lost all hope on getting a refund or replacements. This company is a joke. I've learned an expensive lesson here—always read reviews before ordering online. I can't believe these people can get away with jerking their customers around.

Don't do it

These people are total liars bought rims and tires salesman was informed it what i had told him I didn't want to cut or do anything to truck he said the combo would work also said they would get to me in a week and a half also says on their website that they price match so it took 5 weeks to get here first of all second the tires rubbed so bad couldn't even drive the truck had to spend another 300$ to add a leveling kit and still rub called them multiple times to get a solution told customer care to listen to the recording of all calls during purchase she said they did and the salesman told me they would rub wich is a total lie I will be contacting bbb and sewing their bond theres alot more to say about them but my advice is not to waste your time and money with these scumbags the lie to you just to get your money and dont stand behind their guarantees warranty and word i don't ever write reviews but this was so bad I thought I should let people know stay away not a legit company liars

Order my wheels on July 19th its July 21st have heard nothing on where they are. Contacted 5 times never returned my emails. Buyer beware buy somewhere else if you want your product on time and to even know where or what is going on with it. If I could give negative stars I would!

Wish I had visited this site prior to ordering anything from this company. My advice is "Run Forest Run". Took almost a month for a reply to my inquiry on shipment of my order. Spoke w/ the tech who I will not name here but, all she did was the blame game towards their supplier, had wrong information on location of their supplier (claimed Corona, CA when it was actually located in Aurora, CO). Took my leg work to track down the order and get it shipped from their supplier. My order number was ******* for Rhino Rack 2500HD system which I received and like so far. Do yourself a favor, if you see something on this site you want, try to go direct to the manufacturer, even if its a few more bucks. Unless of course you like aggravation, headaches and being ignored. I will never purchase from them again ever. Not even if its free. Ralph H.

Ordered product & received within 2 days. 1 item was defective. Have been trying for 3 days to get an answer on how they're handling it with no success. Won't answer any questions about it. Get product in a timely manner but customer service in regards to defective product & return is horrible to say the least.

Absolute scam... If you know you want a product 1000% go ahead they have nice stuff but if you change your mind or find a better deal game over. Customer service will straight up avoid you or use stall tactics in order to be unable to cancel your order and steal your money. They don't call you back and if they contact you it's not which ever preferred method you requested... Stay far away from this place I'll be calling my bank to dispute but I can see their little borderline illegal wording in their fine print...

I ordered a Diamondback cover 20 JUL2020. On the 29th I received the email that my order would be delivered no later than 19AUG. The chat feature is automated vs live. I backdoor'd to the sales department and was met with a snippy, "that's not my department".
If not resolved within 48 hrs, I will cancel the order and go to Diamondback directly. I guarantee I will never order from realtruck again!

Cancelled order after hearing nothing for weeks. Phone not answered. Calls and e mails not responded too other than form reply. Order shipped even after repeated cancellations. Returned but no refund after 3 weeks. Bunch of crooks! Shop anywhere else!
