They don't return your commission after they have your money even if it's not your fault that the deal didn't go through. Avoid this company!

I can't believe realtor.com has ruined their format. The reason I never use Trulia or Zillo is because I hate the format. So what does Realtor.com do copy them exactly. The same idoits that came up with 'new' Coke that tasted exactly like Pepsi must have gone to work for Realtor.com.

We literally have used Realtor.com daily for past 6 months while searching for a house in another state- I just logged on and the entire site has changed- WTH!!! Nothing works as it did- my searches and saved houses are gone- worst of all- you can't navigate the map,as before... It amazes me why they would mess up a good thing! The only thing you needed to change/add was the capability to "hide" a property when you don't want it to continue to show up in a search- Zillow offers this feature. I just deleted Realtor app-

As of May 25th the this new version is so terrible I can barely put it into words. I've been using this app for the last 4 or 5 years and it was excellent. A clear and easy way to search for homes. Now it's utterly un-useable. All previous saved searches were lost, there's no clear way to tell which the listing status is active or under contract. The hide pending listings is gone and the hide pending sales option doesn't hide listings that are under contract. No advanced filters for peppery size or community features. The more feature make the app hardly useable. As you have to zoom in even on your own save listings. The auto search as you move the map is super annoying. As a UX designer I'm blow away at how much good information has been removed and replaced with useless function. I've used this app every day and now that I'm serious about purchasing a home in the next 6 months my main tool for information is worthless. I'm angry and disappointed at how terrible this new design is.

Drew Betz Realty Group, Keller Williams By The Water Sarasota, is very deceptive and dishonest. Drew Betz Adds fees for buyers to buy houses through him without informing the buyer. He adds fees, or a percentage of commission to the closing statement without the knowledge of the seller or buyer. Had to go through his broker, to get my money back he added on the closing statements at closing. Also he will not give you a copy of the contract so he can add a larger commission at closing on property he is selling for you. Very dishonest and only a friend if he can have you do what he wants you to do.
He will tell you only to use his companies for inspections and closings. Tells you not to get an attorney. He stole over $1000 from us, tried to bribe me out of $10k to sell a house under contract so he don't have to report the sale. Very dishonest..

We worked with Laura Teichman with Realty Associates and I can not begin to explain how amazing the process has been and we owe that to our realtor Laura! Laura answered all of our questions and explained things we didn't even know when it comes to looking for a house. After letting her know what we were looking for, we found our dream house in our price budget on our first day out looking for houses with her! She got us an even better deal on the house and some of the items from inside that we loved! If you are looking to buy a house, Laura is the realtor for you because not only does she know what she's talking about but she has been there with and for us the entire way and this is truly an experience I will never forget!

I had inquired about advertising on Realtor.com. After speaking to one of their sales agents, I realized how expensive it is to pay for a zip code area. The math and results didnt really add up. Much like Zillow. They are price gouging agents badly.
They keep offering me products for less and less money, until I purchased something. They have some product where they charge you $50 per month. Never disclosed anything regards to an air tight contract. After several months of paying and getting absolutely nothing for it. I decided to cancel. Well it turns out you cant cancel until the end of the contract. I wasn't made aware of anything where I cant cancel. Nor did they make clear of the commitment. Very sneaky and shady. Now I stuck paying them the monthly vic, like the mafia they are. I am surprised they didnt threaten me to break my legs.
I will never do business such shady businesses like that again.

Bunch of CROOKS!
April 26, 2016

We are going to sell our home without a realtor and paid a few hundred dollars to list it on ForSalebyOwner, Zillow, Trulia, and Realtor.com. What a racket! They hide your phone # so only all these realtors call you. They try to manipulate you into signing a listing agreement. They can all go jump in a lake. Parasites. On Realtor.com you can't even show your phone # at all and nobody will be able to tell your home is for sale by Owner. They tell you you had better not put your phone # or any website in the text or they won't post your listing. It says nothing anywhere that you will have to pay a commission to whatever realtor brings you a buyer until after you sign up and pay. I am not even putting my house on Realtor.com. Too bad I did not think of looking here before shelling out the $. Boo. Does not even deserve the one star.

Spam email generator
April 19, 2016

Protect your email from this site.

I made the mistake of using their 'request information on this property' box, and contacted several anonymous realtors about properties. Here were my results, of the half dozen contacts, zero responded with answers to my basic question. However, I did start to receive spam from 3 realtors, and it was nonstop, Keller-Williams refused requests to remove my email until I called the manager of their office and threatened police action. Of note is I had to fire a Keller Williams realtor previously. One of the others finally stopped, but the third has refused over 20 requests, and although I've contacted Realtor.com 5 times now they have not responded.

I will be taking other actions against the current spammer, Jorge Sanchez, *******@piarealtygroup.com

Spam jam
April 14, 2016

Unreal spam, slowware, ads bogging down the actual search. Very frustrating to locate any property because browser crashes ALL the time. Never any problems w/my computer on any other sites, just REALTOR> SPAM! This used to be the premier search for RE... not any more. I don't won't waste time for ads to load and then jam search after a dozen or so properties. Agents and brokers ACTUAL PAY FOR THIS SERVICE? I can't see them staying in business much longer. Professionals, move your business to Trulia or Zillow and stop feeding revenue to this crappy search site.

Terrible layout
April 7, 2016

What happened to this website? The layout used to be so clean and easy to use. It used to list a bunch of properties per page, and when you clicked on a property it showed all the relevant info about the house. Now it's huge pictures, and when you click on a house, the page is very cluttered, and it shows little information about the house.

This site is just too hard to use for searching houses.

So Many Questions?
April 6, 2016

They apparently are very expensive to advertise on because they charge 100 to 75 dollars each lead their agents receive. When calling to speak to someone about this information a lady name Kathy or Cathy had no clue. So another number was called, then they transferred me to guess who of advertising and marketing on Realtor.com, yes you guessed right Kathy or Cathy. Don't believe me, well call her for yourself, and ask her how much it costs to advertise on the site. Her number is *******200.

Choices vanished!
March 31, 2016

As a buyer I used to love this website and used it frequently. What happened to all the choices? I used to be able to narrow my housing choices by features that I wanted in the house. Now I can barely narrow my choices at all because the features are missing. I don't want to have to open 200 listings to find a house that has both a swimming pool and a fireplace! Please bring back the amenities option!

The sales people lie... I actually had to go so far as to cancel my card that they were using. I called my sales rep and asked if it was possible to switch zip codes. The one I signed up for was the only one that was available at the time I signed up. He told me he could switch my zip code and then I was charged for both zip codes at a rate of more than double what I had told him my budget was. When I tried to get in touch with him, he would neither return my calls or respond to my emails. He had someone else call me who told me that they don't allow you to switch zip codes, so just manage the new double payment by closing more of their leads. I asked why I wasn't told and got no answer. In the process of trying to get some attention from supervisors and in the meantime had my card cancelled to avoid further fraudulent charges. I guess I must be getting somewhere because yesterday I got ANOTHER order confirmation for another zip code I didn't order or want.

The new site design that was active last week sucked!
I'm updating my review from 1 to 4 stars because they restored the default navigation.
Stop making "improvements" to the site that actually make it more difficult to navigate.

The new "redesign" of the website absolutely sucks! I thought it was only me but after reading all these reviews, it wasn't me! Whatever team or management agreed to this "redesign" and "upgrade" should get their a$$e$ canned and sent back to where they came from. Hope the pay and upgrade was worth the loss of loyalty and customer satisfaction... shame, shame, shame!
