Sneaky lead generator
September 11, 2016

You think you're contracting the listing agent but instead your email and phone go out to several buyer agents I wrote the privacy dept to remove my Info and they said thought luck it was already sent to a bunch of realtors. Their site is also clunky compared to the others in this space. Stay away from this deceptive site.

They have changed. I had a long standing relationship with Realtor.com. My new rep was a young man who has probably never been in sales and has been placed in a boiler room where he has been told to sell sell sell and never mind the customer. He didnt care about me only called me to upsell me. When I wanted to speak about concerns he became rude and unhelpful and hung up. He didnt care that I left Realtor, com when I explained how unhappy I was with the leads and with his service. This is the NEW Realtor, com.

AGENTS WORK HARD they deserve better than this. STAY AWAY!

PP - Realtor.com might want to give some thought to letting the boiler rooom agents know that they arent helping the company.

New App Bad for Business
September 4, 2016

This new app has terrible reviews, I realized that this could be the reason I am not receiving barely any leads which I pay an incredible monthly amount for. Hmmm. Looks like if, people aren't able to access Realtor.com, leads are now a dead end. I think it's time to move on to Zillow. Sorry Realtor.com, you gave me great leads at one time, I am so glad though, I was able to read the reviews from this site. I am not sure you would tell me why I wasn't getting many leads. With all the money you spend on commercials, this absolutely amazes me.

Epic Failure Update
August 31, 2016

I have used this app in multiple states over the past 5 years. It's been my go to for targeting potential purchases. It never worked well on my computer, but was pretty good on my phone and tablet.

Now it's absolutely is the worst. The split screen is asinine! Who cares what a house looks like if it's not in your target area? Also, what is up with the listing prices... the font is so huge that it takes up all the space on the "half map" that's now allowed. Slow, buggy, advertisements... Seriously, the end result is a watered down search capabilities and tons of pictures and advertisements that not only do I not want, but they also eat up my phone data!

I rarely write reviews, but wow! This update is so out of touch with what buyers need. Update is a failure! I am so disappointed!

Two biggest pet peeves of the moment... I now have to deal with an ad that flashes in the middle of a picture of a home?... Also when I am trying to go to the 'next page'... at the bottom instead it is always forcing me to look at the last listing again and again by the curser being controlled this way.

I give up. Recently I was interested in purchasing in the UK and I used an excellent website called RIGHTMOVE. So easy and clear of clutter flashing all around me with ads and so much the way realtor.com used to work for many years

Total Fail
August 29, 2016

I used this app daily. However, after I updated last week, I find it unusable. Truly horrible. You really messed this up. I loved the former maps/listings view. I hate the split screen on my iPad.

NEW APP IS HORRIBLE!
August 25, 2016

I give up. I am deleting your app and will never use again. This has to be the worst app update ever since the beginning of apps. Every single person at realtor.com that was involved in any way with this app update should be fired. -******* stars

Slow and freezes
August 21, 2016

realtor.com is a really bad site. WAY OVER touted as a great search eng. It is the ONLY real estate site that takes an extremely long time to view selected homes and pictures. You must WAIT for ALL the different ads to load before you can view the next picture. It freezes quite often and you need to refresh to continue. Tis is the ONLY real estate site that acts this way on my computer. I have absolutely no problems with Zillow! I only use realtor.com if I have no other choice.

New updated version is awful - unusable! I wish I had known and never would have updated. One Star rating is too high.
Old app was A+. I cannot even begin to list all the problems with the app... my sites are not saved, limiting a neighborhood to a 1 or 2 mile radius, buying versus sold
The app is now one BIG mess... you lost millions of viewers - your advertisers will soon realize they are wasting their money. Whoever is responsible should be fired.
Signed, very unhappy user
Now, searching for another app...

Why change?
August 6, 2016

Horrible. I use To love realtor.com. Why do you change something that works. It is frustrating to use now. I cannot search school districts anymore. Not as user friendly as previous version. Hello Zillow

Inaccurate
August 3, 2016

I would like to change my maximum price to a number between 1500 and 2000. I am able to do it on the website, but it does not cross over to my iphone. On the phone app, I must choose either 1500 or 2000. Obviously there are many homes between there and it is a waste of my time to have to sift through all of the homes that are out of my price range. Not to mention the constant updates regarding homes that are not of any significance to me. Is anyone able to provide me a way around this? If so, I am willing to change my rating.

I have used this app since 2013. Now I find it unusable. I can't pull up my favorites other than a small list in the left corner. Searches are challenging and less productive. I just deleted this app from my phone and iPad after three years because it is so frustrating and I have given it two months to attempt to get accustomed to it. I sent realtor.com an email and they said no one e, she has expressed an issue with this update and most find it easier and more functional to use. Lol. Nope

I've used Realtor.com with virtually no problems since 2011... until earlier this year. Any new or revised searches I set up WILL NOT send notifications or emails. I need this app to work! I've called and emailed customer service and they haven't been responsive at all. I've deleted my account twice, still no luck. It's just such a disgrace to have a great app and then to destroy it and then give customers no solid support. I've ended up using the Zillow app for notifications and then finding the house on the Realtor.com website (without logging on) to verify info. Such a waste!

The updated app is so bad I can't stand to use it. I had absolutely no issues with the older version. Who thought this update was an improvement? I am using Zillow now.

Realitor.com does not come close to my home worth. I have 9 acres on waterfront, beautiful 6 foot deep water with 100 ft dock, 20,000 auto boat lift. 2900 sq feet just 10 years old. Realitor list at 289,000 showing last sales price of 70,000. That was land price only. I have had offers at 550,000 but would not sell. Taxes estimate 600,000, so where does this site come up with their price? Worst site on this computer. Check out my home 118 Callis drive Lancaster va *******. Look at view not to mention almost new home. Use Zillow maybe but really just do the smart thing and look at Comps. Plus look at tax records then decide if you would love to live in whatever location you are looking at.

I'm bummed!
July 16, 2016

This used to be the best app out there for house hunting. I have tried to work with ithe new version and I am giving up. I was hoping the gallery and filters would come back. I'm done waiting, I will be looking on Zillow now. We average a house a year so I'm always watching my area. I can't imagine the agents that are paying to be on this site are happy with the new version. I will check back in a month and see if anything has changed. So disappointed :/

I'm going to have to use trulia or Zillow now. This is sad because realtor was my go-to app for searching and researching. Unfortunately, they have ruined it and made it the worst app I have ever used. The old app worked fine. This new app is an embarrassment. There are no search parameters anymore. The old app allowed to narrow down searches by a healthy list of options like age of home, lot size, etc. this new app took all of those away and now makes searching a major headache, having to scroll through hundreds of useless listings that don't meet my search criteria. What happened?! This is so disappointing. I am hoping that perhaps an update will be coming that would restore the search criteria options, but it's been quite awhile already with this new crappy version and so far nothing. I'm tempted to wait a little longer before deleting the app altogether. Thank goodness for trulia and Zillow, who both actually have extensive criteria search options.
