She cares and helped me. She is a great person..
The new version of the app is TERRIBLE! I can't easily see if a property is Active or Contingent like I could earlier today before the new version rolled onto my phone. I hate it. Not user-friendly AT ALL!
When looking for the BEST Realtor in Western Montana, I encourage all to visit Locations Montana.com agent Jeanie Deetz. Jeanie exemplifies the Realtor's " Code of Ethics". What an AMAZING experience I had using Jeanie Deetz for searching for a new home. She was professional, attentive and knowledgeable. I felt like I was getting the royal treatment. I can't thank her enough for helping me find such a beautiful place in one day. If you are in need of a realtor whether you are buying or selling I highly recommend Jeanie Deetz@ Locations Montana Real Estate!
When choosing a realtor one has to remember they are working for you. So it is imperative that you are familiar with the realtor " Code of Ethics".
Realtor.com is the worst and most unstable web page among Trulia, Zillow and others. It seems like they are so hungry for ad revenue that the content suffers in favor of web banners and pop ups and ads taking all the bandwidth. Terrible.
I was recommended to Terry Day through a friend who also bought a home from him. At first I was reluctant because I had a few realtors who I was in contact with that were not so friendly and/or not interested in the ideas of what I was looking for. I went ahead and made the call, the very first interaction sold me. Terry is super enthusiastic, creative, and even though you may not understand the process fully he has no problem explaining things and remaining positive throughout your process. Honestly, if it wasn't for Terry I wouldn't be buying a home today. He makes time during his busy schedule, prompt with all meetings, and handles difficult situations graceful and tactful! Thanks again Terry! You opened the door for opportunities! Call Terry now!
Have been working with Realtor.com since February. Had a really good rep and then he left. Nightmare since. You will get a rep, they say they care, but if you are not buying anything else, they will stop answering emails. Tigerleads is meh. You can get the same quality leads for much less. Their billing is terrible. I am currently on the phone getting a $3k charge reversed for a service that I turned in my notice to stop using yet they are billing me. 10 months and I have had to correct a billing problem for 7 months out of the 10. Hours on the phone. Some of the customer service reps are nice, but why do I have to keep fixing numerous issues. Such a waste of my time.
I pay less than $100 a month for Zillow and I have closed one deal and have two active buyers. I pay Realtor.com $560 a month and have had little leads and no real buyers. I have spent countless hours with their customer service and they refuse to cancel my 6 month contract or refund the money. They make verbal promises they can't fulfill. There are so many great ways to spend your marketing money but this is not one.
Used to love this app, I could look for homes in my area. The new version is just unusable so I deleted it!
They have allowed the ad agencies to over run the site which causes constant loading that inevitably CRASHES ALL WEB BROWSERS, the site is very close to being unusable. The constant loading of ads will not allow the standard features to work, even if you manually try to stop the loading.
I was told my zip code was not available and to buy one nearby that is selling well until it comes available. I asked several times if I could cancel since it is a monthly subscription. His reply was "we are not like zillow, they do contracts and we do not". SO I bought it into. A month later my zip code I actually wanted came up and I asked if I could cancel the original one and buy this one. A new guy finally told me you cannot cancel in the 12 months. He also let me know if I paid all at one time I would save 10%. The first sales guy never mentioned any of this and I am now locked in on way too much money. I never signed or saw a contract either. It all feels shady and unclear.
This company made rich mostly by the credibility of the name Realtor (realtor.com) Also. Affiliated with Fivestreet and move.com.
Here is there scam in a nutshell.
1. They will tell you that even if they don't currently have the zip code that you want to just apply for the nearest one (which in my case was over an hour away) and then you will be first on their list for other zip codes.
2. Within a couple of days the the zip code that I wanted became available they were close to $600 a month.
3. The leads that I did receive were either duplicated, already had an agent or not currently interested. Sometimes I felt that when I called them that I was calling the back room of realtor.com and there was not an actual customer at all.
3. After no good leads I explained my dissatisfaction and was told that my account would be canceled... Fair enough.
4. Several months went by and I kept receiving emails and leads... so having had canceled I sent them to my junk folder, unsubscribed and moved on.
5. I somehow received another "lead" which again was not worth my time to open. I did not open it but called and told them that I had canceled a couple of months ago. Why were they still sending me leads?
6. I talked to Mansour then Steve and they both explained that I did not cancel and to pay them $1200 or be sent to a collection company. I told them that I had canceled two months ago with a lady and have not opened any leads since. It didn't matter.
They didn't send anything in writing to confirm the cancel. So they continue to charge you or damage your credit.
Sound familiar to anyone? If so email me *******@gmail.com
I feel that this is their plan and they could care less about their longevity. I am a broker and have been doing In real estate for over 15 years. I should have known to receive written documentation but I believe this is part of their scam and they don't typically send it. Let me know if you had a similar experience. It would be nice to let them know as Realtors that they can't use our name while taking advantage of us.
Responded to lead within 1 min. They were quite impressed however after I set up appt, they said another agent contacted them as well and will be going with them. Why is there not one lead per agent? This business is competitive enough without having to fight over leads! I asked for a copy of the annual contract however never received for two months! Is there really such a thing?
This company will tell you anything to get you to buy their so called lead service at a high price. Most always the lead is junk junk leads. You can do better with your personal website and it will bring you better quality leads. Dont fall for it stay clear.
Why should you pay to have buyers come to you from Your own listing...
I am so disappointed in the Realtor.com Connection for Co-Brokerage product. Here is the communication I had at the end of the year when they realized I was not going away quietly and they offered to give me a refund:
I understand that you have offered me a refund of $323.66 and I would appreciate you letting me know how that was calculated. Here is a breakdown of the the leads that I have received from Realtor.com since establishing my account in June of 2015.
34 Leads total of which 2 were duplicates so really 32
Of the 32 leads:
7 were for timeshares (average sales price around $5000
1 Boat Slip
1 Rental request
And a few that were under contract already or only available through an auction
I am sure you can imagine my disappointment after being told that I would be receiving an average of 4-5 leads per month for a total of 48-60 leads per year. I paid $1,941.96 for the year. Since I only received 32 leads I only received 66.6% of what was promised so I should be receiving a credit for 33.3% of the $1,941.96 which is $646.67.
As a Realtor I purchased a few zip codes and found out the price they quoted me was not what they charged my account. It was double. I was furious and within the 3 days allowed to cancel I called and was told it would be credited back to my account. Well it has been seven days and I called again and no one knows what happened. Very frustrated! I will never use them again! Agents beware of what you are purchasing and the price you will be charged.
I have been a client for more than 18 months. I spent over $12,000 in leads from these people. For a while I got some workable leads. They have been continually getting worse. Now they are almost non-existent. They have screwed up my account numerous times and will not take the time to research the problem. I just discovered they have errantly texting my leads to another agent for the last 60 days. They wanted to raise the price of my leads from $1,000 per month to $2366 per month or make me buy shared leads. Their reps agreed to do numerous things but never did what they said they would do. DO NOT TRUST THESE LIARS. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY.
I spent over $2K and I didn't receive one transaction. Then, when you ask to cancel they give you the run around about how important it is to respond within 5 minutes. I will never purchase leads again. I get better business with referrals. I wouldn't recommend Realtor.com to anyone.
Any positive review has to be fake, this site is filled to the gills with glitches. Nothing works, its a total nightmare, i find it best to just search a realtor and use that site. Using realtor, com is just going to add to your already home buying stress.
Answer: Don't do it! Total scam. They don't allow you to cancel, and don't deliver what they promise. I've wasted $1500 and they want to stick me for another $4500! I signed up for an area with $800k average, but ALL of the leads are for $50 mobile homes. COMPLETE SCAM!
Answer: You can file a claim with the BBB. I am in the process of looking for an attorney. Small claims court is always an option.
Answer: Just be sure you are dealing with a realtor. Do not send any money to anybody at a moneygram account. Just make sure it is a realtor you are working with. Because there are scams out there that ask you to send money pretend to be owner etc. you can always ask for license number and go to trec website and check to see if number is real. Hope that helps.
Answer: I hope that if enough of us post about Realtor.com scamming, defrauding our industry we can stop them, scammed myself, never again, worst customer service I have ever encountered.
