We had a contract with Palomar Water that was purchased by Ready Refresh. We have since cancelled our contract and are STILL receiving invoices for late fees and paper statement charges. We cancelled on 2/24/23, equipment was picked up on 2/28/23, and I called on 3/15/23 to get the payoff amount. Sent the amount that was given, check cleared on 3/29/23. Fast forward to 6/12/23 we are up to $86.49 in late fees on late fees and paper statement fees, 2 paper statement fees in May alone, and there is no resolution in sight! I have called, spent hours on hold (literally) and finally sent a registered letter to try to resolve the matter. I finally got a call today, whether it was collections or a response to my letter I will never know because the person could not speak English. The only thing I was able to understand was Ready Fresh. When I said that I could not understand them, he hung up on me. HORRIBLE customer service! Do not ever sign up with them! I wish I would have read reviews when Palomar Water sold out to them. We were a customer for over 7 years, always paid on time and now we are being treated horribly!
I originally got this service because the sales guys came to my complex and sold me on getting the service, which they were very nice. However, this company is unreliable, unprofessional, a waste of time and money. I was supposed to have a professional cleaning service done for the cooler, but they have canceled on me and rescheduled me countless times for 2 and half months straight without no explanation as to why I was canceled to begin with. And when I was rescheduled, it was at an inconvenience day because I'm the only one here and I have to take off work to be here for them. They are very inconsiderate of my time. The one day when I thought they might actually come, the technician was a no call, no show. Also, my card has been charged multiple times without my authorization when it shouldn't have been charged at all. And I've been told that my card shouldn't have been charged unless the delivery or service was actually completed, which it's always before that and no one shows up at all. They don't wanna refund my money due to their mistakes, instead, they wanna add it as credit to my account and that's unacceptable. I would not recommend doing business with them. Save yourself an unnecessary headache, look elsewhere, and save your time, money, and energy for another company who will value you as a customer, cause it definitely isn't ready refresh
This company is the worst! I had scheduled an appointment to have someone come and clean our cooler and they have canceled 8 times. Most times they didn't even call or send an email to cancel. I took off three days for work (unpaid) for them not to show up! What a disgrace! DO NOT USE THEM. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU DONT RECEIVE SERVICES!
This is a horrible scam of a company. Continute to bill me never dever water or pick up the bottles. I have tried to cancell 3 times they continue to charge yet never deliver the water. Horrible. Reporitng them to the local authorites. Not sure how they can be in business.
We had been having issues with our water cooler tower working and had struggled to find meaningful solutions month after month. I work for a larger company with 100+ accounts (some are active and some are not.) After 4 months without access to the water containers that continued to be delivered, we finally met Lee. Lee at Ready Fresh was a friendly face from the moment he walked in. He helped us to replace the individual part that was impacting our ability to utilize the water jugs. Not only did he have a quick fix, he really talked about how his entire purpose was to help people and that he felt that it was meant to be for him to visit us today. While not all customer service with this company has been great, Lee was a 5 Star review. Thank you to all the Lee's out there! We need you in this world!
This company I will never ever recommend to anyone. The service is horrible from customer service to delivery. They are always quick to charge the customer extra unnecessary fees even when they skip or cancel your delivery the day of and also when you completely discontinue service with them. They have ridiculous charges for their service. I wished I had never wasted my money on this company
The reminder email/text comes after business hours on a Friday. Log in Monday morning to "skip" the delivery and it says it is too late. Called customer service and the rep said there is nothing they can do. What? I cannot tell you to not show up at my place of business? The only option is to wait around for the driver, refuse the delivery, with a fee of course! Sad
I've had their service for 2 years now and they have increased their prices 4 times. I had already decided that we would be canceling the service as soon as we moved this summer. Delivery dates are erratic, price increase every 6 months and they don't clean their machines at no cost...no thanks, we are done
My card on auto-pay expired. After that is was all downhill...I never got any notifications, my card was expired, or my bill was late. They just keep hitting you with $20 late fees. The rental is $15/mo and they charge $20 for a late fee. 150% Ridiculous! Avoid this company. You can see from all the 1-star reviews, this organization should take a hard look at his values and leadership.
I have been with ReadyRefresh for a few years now and I am very upset with this company. They cancel service dates without notification. They change delivery dates on a whim. Then when you call you're shunted to some offshore sales person who speaks very poor English and is no help at all. Yesterday I finally got hold of someone here in the US who cheerfully promised delivery today and now at 6.06pm after waiting here all day I got notification they are delivering next Monday! I was supposed to get water yesterday, then today, now Monday. Shoddy service. Unreal.
Absolute garbage.
I had an account in which I was told It would be 25 a month for equipment and delivery, after 1 month the price jumped to over 50. It took 2 months of constantly reaching out to get the service cancelled which i continued paying on. It took an additional month for anyone to come out and pick up the equipment we rented. My account was officially closed in December of 2021 with a negative 3 dollar balance, thats fine you can keep the 3 bucks i say. After 3 months of cancelation a whole 3 month gap, guess what company tried to take additional payments out of my bank account? Thats right these dip$#*!s. And NOW my account has gone to a collections agency for "the unpaid amount" which accumulated WELLL after cancelation. I luckily have ALL the correspondence for cancelation, confirmation of cancelation etc etc.
I don't even know where to begin. This is a business account. They leave the water bottles outside when the office is already closed. They came to clean my dispenser, which I purchased from Home Depot but broke it in the process. The charge a different business for services that were done for this business. The customer service reps consistently say uh, uh, uh, uh, uh on the phone. You repeat yourself to them multiple times and they still don't understand what you're saying. I just cannot take it anymore. I'd rather drive and pick up my own bottles elsewhere then continue to deal with this mess of a company.
They cancel deliveries with notice delivery driver does not pick up jugs and they don't care. I have spoken with customer service several times and always excuses.
For over a year I had a membership that was supposed to give me a monthly delivery. Out of all this months, they delivered only 4 times. Every month they said they would deliver tomorrow, but nothing came. Customer service is definitely not helpful. Overall very bad experience.
Things that have gotten worse.
1) Asking for tipping? Really. Annoyed the company doesn't pay them enough.
2) Charging for water bottle pickup. We should just horde the water bottles. I remember when they begged us to be able to come pick them up. Now they want to charge $20 just for an empty water bottle pickup. WTF.
3) Can't find any way to reach a human being on the phone anymore.
Overall service has gone drastically downhill. Will look for a new provider but not sure there is another one in the area.
I originally open an account end of June 2021, I then moved back to California from Texas July 2021. Since I discovered I was moving back to California I canceled the account, excuse me TRIED to cancel the account multiple times. I've called, I've emailed, I've pushed back deliveries. Every single time no responses. The one time I did get a callback from them, it was because I "owed a balance" LOL unfortunately, the person calling me had to get the frustrated version of myself. I made them aware that I've been trying to cancel the account since July 2021, and that they need to cancel my account which I was told they did before I saw them. It is now May 2023 and I have collection agencies calling me for a ridiculous amount. At this point we all need to come together and sue them because it's clear they only make their money through collections. Also, it's ridiculous that we have to choose one star as a raining because clearly they don't deserve anything.
These people are scam. They will slowly charge you more each delivery. They will also throw in charges of items you never received. When you close your account, they will still make up items you didn't receive and charge your card. Beware!
They will never let you cancel. Their dispensers are a hub for cockroaches! They should be dried!

Answer: Customer service is terrible. I told them I was cancelling my service and they said OK. They did not care why, they had ZERO interest in resolving a small problem, instead they transferred me right over to cancellation department which must be a busy place to work!
