Soon after I purchased a PureGear wall charger & cable for my new Galaxy phone at my local TSS store, I noticed the connector at one end of the cable was cracking. (The cable was NOT subject to any abuse.) TSS said I had to contact PureGear directly for a replacement, so I filed a warranty claim & submitted all the necessary documentation & a detailed description, including a photo of the defective connector.
PureGear sent just the wall charger, which is NOT the item that needed to be replaced. (Btw, PureGear's S&H charge is criminally exorbitant.)
I immediately contacted them to explain the screw-up. After I confirmed (again) that the cable was for an android phone, they agreed to send the correct item, but only after implying that somehow I did not
Follow proper procedure (which I did all along) & never acknowledging that they were at fault. Instead, they made it clear they were only doing this as a "onetime courtesy". Their attitude was basically I should be grateful for the favor & for them not charging me that exorbitant S&H charge again.
Final insult: The new cable they sent is still not the correct one. But I have no intention of further imposing on their "generosity" -- or ever buying a PureGear product again.
We purchased two screen protectors. Within that week both were severely cracked with normal use. My husband paid the shipping ($12) for their warranty replacement, and that broke as well within another week. I emailed customer service with photos, receipts and more and asked for a refund. They refused. Do not buy this overpriced and unfit for purpose item.
I purchased a screen protector from Puregear which was $50. I know a lot of money for a screen protector considering I could pick one up for $5. Well, you do not get what you pay for. It cracked within a month. I had the warranty in place so I thought I would get another one for free. That was true but after I pay a $13 shipping fee. That's insane. So, now I'd be in $13 more for this overpriced protector. I did not do it and I went to 5 Below and bought one that is working just fine.
Broke one week after putting it on after I set it down on the counter so I got another one and it broke again after falling off my bed. Not very good quality
Verizon sold me a pure gear screen protector with lifetime replacement for $64.99, when I went to replace my broken screen protector at Verizon I was told I had to go online to order it. Once online they tell you there is a $12.95 shipping charge! The item is WEIGHTLESS and does not cost $12.95 to ship. I went on Amazon and bought a pack of 3 screen protectors for $8.99 with free shipping.
DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO THIS, These are no better than Amazon and Verison will not give you a refund.
Purchased a screen protector for $60 from Verizon as it was advertised to come with a warranty. Not even 3 weeks later there was a crack on the underside of the screen. Contacted Puregear with my receipt info as it was replaceable. I paid the $13 shipping fees & they sent me an iphone 6 screen cover! I confirmed my order was for an iphone 14...I have tried multiple times to contact customer service to get it rectified but I am met with "our paperwork shows we sent you a 14 screen cover"... Ill be disputing the $13 with my bank & wont buy this brand again
Bought the puregear phone screen protector from my local cell supply store. It was expensive (40$ CAD) but I was told there was unlimited replacements as long as I pay for the shipping. The screen protector broke immediately (in my purse. Didn't even drop it) and it shattered near the camera. I went to claim the warranty and was told it would take 10-14 days to get my product. This is was in September (the 5th). On October 5th I followed up as I never got the replacement and I was told it would take another 7-14 business days. We're now in November and I can't even get an email response. No product, no reply and now my phone screen is damaged. I went to report then on the BBB and found 15 pages of complaints leading back to 2019 of people having the same issue. Clearly this company is a scam. Buyers beware.
Lucky for my my credits card company disputed there charges but I'll never get back that 40$ from the original purchase.
This is one of the worst products you can possibly buy, entirely. It cracks incredibly easily, and the "warrantee" is false. They charge almost 1/3rd of what you would pay to buy a new screen protector in store, for the delivery fee.
The people who are in charge of this product should be ashamed. Unfortunately, I have a Motorola phone, so very few screen protectors match with my phone. I am forced to buy this piece of garbage. I disdain this product, and this company.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! It is impossible to contact these@$$!$ I purchased a screen protector and it cracked within the first week!
I paid 65.00 for this junk screen protector for my S22 Ultra on 7/8/22 on 7/28/22 I did drop my phone and it busted the protector. I've had many screen protectors over the years and never busted the screen protector. Yes it did protect my phones screen but damn this thing shattered on a bull$hit drop. Well I used the warranty and you have to pay 11.95 in shipping just to get a new one. So received the new one around 8/12/22 and today the 24th I notice a edge shattered. I haven't dropped my phone at all and have been extra cautious because clearly these screen protectors are garbage. Don't recommend they're GARBAGE especially when these a$$holes are charging money for shipping and we're getting stiffed because these screen protectors are $hit. I've gotten better screen protectors off Amazon for next to nothing. I'm done not paying another 11.95 for $hit. Stay clear of puregear 360 steel overpriced garbage.
When I bought my new iphone, I asked for the liquid screen protector I had in the past. The guy agreed and sent me to look for a case. While looking for a case, he put this puregear thing on. I had specifically told him about my concern about it bubbling up and flaking off. He told me it was guaranteed for a lifetime. It immediately within days bubbled up and is not flaking. The verizon store will not do anything. It costs $12 for the replacement from the company. Something that is guaranteed for life and that was defective immediately should not cost $12 to replace. HORRIBLE COMPANY. I wish I would have read these before I made the purchase.
The free replacement is 12.95 shipping and handling. I have replaced twice. The get hairline cracks easily. Am going back to my wet prep. They last the life of the phone. Cheaper too
Light weight car keys landed on glass protector chiped edge which has now cracked from small chip all across protector. Did not even last a week on brand new samsung galaxy ultra 22.
Expensive and would be a further $11 shipping to see if warranty any good. I don't recommend this product.
This one cracked a day after putting it on, very carefully I might add. No injury, trauma or rough treatment of any kind. Each time I pay the shipping fee and each time it breaks within a month of use. I am at 100 dollars so far and I will stop getting a new one sent as there is no point. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Same as many stories here. Worst screen protector ive ever had... and most expensive by far. Verizon sold me (and installed) a PureGear HD screen protector for my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for the undisclosed low, low price of only FIFTY dollars. Yes... US dollars. My thumb print would only be recognized once every 10 attempts at best. By day 3 I noticed a hairline Crack down the side. Day 4 another on the adjacent side of the screen protector. Day 5 a 3rd and 4th. No drops. Tried Live Chat with an agent... which is either an auto responder... or an agent overseas... and was given a "one time courtesy" waive of the $12.00 S&H fee for a new case. After 10 minutes of waiting for the PureGear Live Chat software to load the requred receipt image... or the "agent" to respond to my pleas for a sign "she" was still in the Chat with me... I gave up. I called Verizon and am waiting for a manager approval for a full refund. I do not want to replace garbage with more garbage. It is all I can do to TRY and blame the poor quality on the curve of the protector due to my phones design... which is possible. However still no excuses for charging such an outrageous price for a product with known flaws. Shame on Pure Gear for manufacturing... and shame on Verizon for selling it. I can't be the only complainer on this screen protector that my local Verizon has dealt with.
I bought the screen protectors for myself and my kids' phones and I've already broken three of them! For the price they're super expensive and break super easy. One drop and bam! Broken! The replacement guarantee means I have to buy another one and then send them a receipt and they reimburse me via PayPal such a scam!
Scam. I was talked into buying a pure gear 360 screen protector for my new s21 phone. I paid a outrageous $50 for the first protector understanding that they have a lifetime replacement for free if it cracks. It cracked almost a week after it was installed and it cost $12 in shipping to get a replacement. There not a exceptionally great product and very costly compared to other products.
Never dropped mine or my wife's galaxy 21 and they both cracked in the same place in 45 days after Verizon put them on. Way too much money and shame on Verizon for selling junk
The sales representative at the Verizon store talked me into purchasing screen protection for my new iPhone. She said to be sure to register your pure gear screens so that you can get $150 in case your phone is damaged with the screen protection. Filling out their online registration was an incredibly frustrating process. I am sure they made it that way so that you don't finish and say the hell with it and then they don't have to warrantee their product.
Answer: No product received no way to connect them. PAId FOR SHIPPING ALSO
Answer: SCREEN PROTECTOR CRACKED. THEY IGNORE ME, I CANNOT GET REPLACED. TRYING FOR OVER 6 MONTHS. WARRANTY EXPIRES FEB. 2020. I WILL NEVER BUY PRODUCTS FROM PUREGEAR.
Answer: It won't be. I hope you didn't pay the shipping fee because you won't see that either. Consider forgetting about it or possibly editing your review to reflect your current situation with their customer service. Consider also putting pressure on the place where you bought it to stop supporting an expensive product that doesn't do what it's being used for.
Answer: PureGear does not honor defect products and ignores submitted warranties. NO REPLACEMENT, ON RESPONSE. PureGear does not answer telephone number 1-877-570-4327 AFTER HUNDREDS OF PHONE CALLS. RINGS ONCE AND HANGS UP. ANYONE SELLING THEIR PRODUCTS IS IN COLLUSION WITH PUREGEAR.
