Last night (Sept. 12) my family and I went to your store in Destin Florida and had a bad experience in your Deli department. Upon entering the store we went to the Deli dept first to get food for our dinner ( subs) then went over to your other counter and was getting cold cuts, there a young red head girl with no name tag on behind the counter was just rude as ever so we left and did the rest of our shopping and had a better experience in the rest of the store. A older lady ( Sue) helped us find items and then at the check out the cashier (Celeste) was wonderful and very inviting. Beyond the deli experience the rest of the store was wonderful.

The lottery machine ripped me off 20 dollars told the manager apparently he is a crook! His name Josh Duarte at the Chickasaw publix does not care about customer care, very very bad experience and still no refund wow this is how you treat retired serviceman who fought for your country. Please join boycott planed October *******

The Publix Pharmacy in Seneca, SC has the WORST Pharmacy employees I have EVER dealt with! Twice they gave me crap about refilling medications prescribed for a physician for a medical condition! It's funny how Walmart had no problem filling the RX! I wouldn't visit there again if they paid me to!

Another sad and obvious day in Publix. I have gone to countless Publix over the years and never had that bad an experience. Only since I've moved to Southwest Florida have I had these experiences, Punta Gorda on Airport rd and 41 in particular. There is a specific senior white woman that they have working the customer service desk ( which I really don't understand why) that has been obviously racist in her actions including attitude toward my mother and I. We have made it a priority to avoid this woman whenever we go there but Every once in a while my mother will want a lottery ticket or a scratch off, and if this lady is working she'll act as if we are about to rob the place and clutch the scratch offs close to her until we give her the money. It wouldn't have really bothered me but I watched 2 white customers in line before us be passed the tickets on the counter before being paid with a smile to boot. If it was an isolated incident or if I seen she was just miserable and nasty to everyone this review would be regarding all customers in general but I see her only act this way with minorities. I have dealt with this Publix for years before I came to this conclusion so don't think this review is fueled by a one off experience and emotion. Publix needs to take accountability for employing these Racists. They are not oblivious to what's happening in there stores they just choose to ignore it. Incident date- 9/1/22 5:30pm. Simple example I went to Walmart and purchased Sun Maid Raisens 20 oz for $3.48 each. Was in Publix and they were selling it for $6.48 and their stock was past the due date for sale. The shortages at Publix are for the purpose of manipulating the consumer to be raped with there prices. As vwe watch there costs go down for transportation the prices are still going up. They are ripping us off.
My advice to all consumers is since Publix thinks there inventory is so valuable let them keep it and shop at stores who do not want to rape and not kiss you with every sale and give youu outdated trash as a thankyou.
I am 70 disabled and do not drive. If I can take a 1 hour bus ride instead of walking to public 2 blocks to shop, so can you

Steaks into dog food! Just cooked up two T-bone steaks from your store in Arcadia Florida. They were absolutely the worst cheekbones that I've ever had. They were so bad my wife and I couldn't finish them so we cut them up into little pieces to feed to our dogs with their dry dog food. Never again!

I loved Publix an used to do 100% of my shopping there, but in the past year their prices have gone through the roof, to the extent that I have no choicebut to shop at Wal Mart to save 30-50%. I understand costs have gone up, but more her than other places. I can only shop there for items When they are on sale.

Watch out for their plastic vac sealed cake containers! Once you get to pry off the sealed plastic, they put the cakes on a slippery piece of card board and it will go flying off the bottom piece of plastic to end up on the FLOOR! Instead of putting cakes into a box, so that people can lift it out easily they vacuum seal the cake in a plastic container which has to be pried open. I'm sure the cake isn't the first to go flying into the wind once the plastic was pulled off and won't be the last either! Use BOXES!

Had an interview at the Publix in Parrish, FL with manager Kim Taylor, she was very unprofessional and rude. At no point did she bother to ask question or why I was interested in working for publix, instead she looked at my resume and stated while looking at my resume that it wasn't going to work, no explanation as to why, then she said to me "I have no interest in hiring you! Who does that in an interview, she has no interviewing skills, very unprofessional, a rude demeanor, that is no way to treat someone in an interview, it was a very discouraging interview. I left there with a feeling of not continuing with interviewing at any other Publix. She has left a bad taste towards the management team at Publix. Publix corporate needs to do training with their management team on interviewing and how to treat people.

This was my worst Publix experience in 15 years! I was hassled at customer Service for returning 4 microwave egg dishes that had expired 3 days before they were purchased. They don't accept expired products! At the deli I was told chicken in the display window is not tougher than that fresh from the Autosham. How do they know the fit of my dentures? I was then unable to reach the cold side salads because an employee was blocking the display with a huge cart of boxed side salads. When she asked me if I needed something, I told her I wanted coleslaw. She ignored me and continued stocking the cabinet. I'm now headed to KFC. Publix has become as unconcerned as Walmart. The difference? Publix is much more expensive. The customer service and kindness of their previous employees used to be worth the additional expense.

Today I went to shop for some balloons for my Son inlay Congrats for his new position... Angelina from product was a joy. She was very professional, knowledgeable, God bless. PUBLIX you guys a excellent employee there. Att. Zibah Reyes

Over 2 weeks since my interview, and still no word. So, I call and speak to the interviewer (Sydney, Assistant Manager). I told her that I was no longer interested in the position due to her not being professional enough to give me a call regarding the outcome of my interview. She had nothing to say except "I'm sorry." Really? If this is the way they handle prospective employees, I'm certain I would NEVER want to actually be their employee! I have shopped at Publix since they opened in my area, and have always given them rave reviews, but now I will be shopping elsewhere.

In a time like this were inflation has rises in all aspects, from the price increase of gas and mainly groceries alone. I recently visited publix and this employee by the name of michel went above and beyond helping me with different selection of meat prices suitable for the budgeted price i had set out to pay.
In a time like this getting the best out every dollar spent is valuable, this why this needs to be recognized.
He is definitely carrying out the publix slogan well" customer are first ".

I was in total disbelief when shopping at Publix, for instance a jar of Hellmann's Mayo $749, went to Walmart $4.29, then i wrote a list or prices from Publix on many other items went across the road to Walmart and everything was 30-40% lower i cannot believe especially during the times we are in They get away with raising there prices that much, actually i cannot believe customers are willing to pay there prices.
I used to go to Publix just for there meats now i go to a meat market, again pricing is lower and quality is better, shame on you Publix for over charging so much more for your products

The manager the old one with grey hair is disrespectful and should not be in charge of anything. I have a ferret I bring to all the stores every child and alt ask to hold or pet him, along with the cashiers! Not one sign says you can not! He is the only one with a problem with it no food is touched by my ferret nor does he poop all over he is extremely clean and sweet! So to be clean being told he's a rodent absolutely disgusting so loud and telling me to LEAVE can't get my belongings is absurd! The other workers kept apologizing because a woman had a dog in there the other day pooping my the fruit! I'm so shocked the way he spoke to me it was unprofessional! If he would have said no animals cool I get it I would have left! But no I was embarrassed yelled at and ridiculed for even having a ferret! I enclosed a picture he goes to all stores never have I been treated in such a nasty manner! He should NOT be a manger!

Publix was a major player in Florida's COVID-19 vaccinations. But now the grocery chain says it will not vaccinate children under 5 along with the highest prices on all their products compared to the competition.
