I expected to be writing a much different review, I have to say that although ProFlowers totally missed my delivery date ( a big birthday) they gave me a full refund. I had the most thoughtful, helpful customer service agent. I guess they sent me notification via email the day before the birthday, that they were not going to make the date, and refunded my delivery charge. That is fine, except the email does not come from ProFlowers but from their parent company Provide, so my email sent it to spam and I never saw it. When the agent and I figured out what had happened, she cheerfully refunded my full payment. It doesn't make up for missing the date, but at least I can splurge and take my friend out for a nice birthday dinner instead. Nice catch ProFlowers. I will use you again.
HORRIBLE customer service. They don't give you updates. I ordered two weeks ago for a birthday git to be delivered to a retirement community in the afternoon, in Virginia. It is now 3pm and the "product" is at a UPS warehouse in New Jersey! All other online flower services contact a local florist and have your flowers prepared for you that day, and delivered immediately. I called Proflowers to ask for an update, and they refused to tell me where the flower arrangement had originated from, only that it came from their "warehouse". NEVER AGAIN. This was a birthday gift for my cousin, and now I am already disappointed and embarrassed. I was hoping to send her something lovely to give her joy, and I foresee disappointment instead.
Two flower orders place to the same address on the same day. First one came in via FED-EX. Flowers looked as if they had been cooked. Vase cracked.
Second order, with candy, never delivered. UPS never showed.
This was for a 30th wedding anniversary.
Emails not returned. Called the 800 number, and the call center HUNG UP ON ME.
Tomorrow I will attempt to resolve this issue again.
AVOID-AVOID... very bad product, and substandard delivery and customer care!
I consider a flower delivery order to be delivered at least during the daytime hours of the day in question. My flower order was not a last minute order, but was placed during the daytime hours of the day before.
For the flowers for a relatives birthday to be delivered just before 9:00 P.M. on the birthday with just three hours left in the day is ridiculous.
I sent this message to ProFlowers. Com and I received a response back from Geetanjalie D. From customer service advising me they deliver to residences from 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. and businesses from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
They obviously do not care a lot of businesses close for the day at 5:00 P.M. and they missed their late night delivery time cut off at my relatives residence past their 8:00 P.M. cutoff.
I wish I had read all the negative reviews on this site prior to my review.
Do not waste your money on this business, as they apparently do not care about all the poor service reviews they are getting, or they would clean up their act.
I ordered flowers and paid extra for same day delivery. Called the recipient and they confirmed no delivery. I called the customer support line and was offered a "free upgrade" and delivery the next day. I agreed to these conditions, and the next day still no delivery. I called customer service again and was told that they only do deliveries on Mondays! Why charge me extra for same day delivery if you cant deliver the product. I informed them that I want a refund and was told it would be 3-5 business days for them to issue me a refund! Buyer Beware!
My mom was having heart issues and so I decided to send her flowers... She received them today... She loved them said they were beautiful! Proflowers delivered the flowers when they said they would be delivered. Proflowers is very dependable and always delivers the best flowers! I have used them more than once... Thank you Proflowers! Kandi
A BIG ZERO for ProFlowers! I ordered same day delivery at 10:30am for my niece after she was announced homecoming princess so they would be there the same day. Not only did they not deliver them, they called the NEXT day at 11:50am to say they weren't delivered but would be that day, then AGAIN at 4:28pm to say they couldn't deliver now until the NEXT DAY! Awful, awful customer service. I will NEVER order from the again - back to 1800Flowers! Huge disappointment! After demanding a refund they informed me I still have to pay the same day delivery charge! FOR WHAT?! Unbelieveable!
Just spoke to Proflowers about a plant I bought that died 2 weeks after I got it. Hoped to get some kind of credit and perhaps buy another plant. The woman who answered the phone disconnected me. I won't be doing any more business with this company.
The grossly overpriced flowers (as others have remarked, large service fees are hidden until AFTER you enter all information including address and credit card) were never delivered. When I called, 2 days later, they said they would re-send the order -- but that it would still take another 3 days from when I called. I said I expected that under the circumstances they would not charge me, but they refused -- they still wanted to charge me full price for a delivery 5 days late. So I simply demanded a refund, which they gave (rudely, then hanging up on me). Given the disappointment involved, that's hardly a satisfactory solution.
Never again.
I had ordered from proflowers.com a bouquet of flowers as a cheer up flower since the 2nd of September was the day my dad passed away and my mom always takes that day hard. What my mom recieved was dead flowers on the anniversary of my dads passing just the thing my mom needed on an already sad day. Thanks proflowers.com
I have ordered several times and every time my Mother was absolutely thrilled with the order. She has never been disappointed in the quality or delivery etc. I did have one issue with the company and that is NOT knowing the shipping and handling cost upfront before inputting all of my credit card info and getting a confirmation number. I was charged for 3 different things this last time. I immediately called customer service and am waiting for a partial refund in the next few days? I got an email so I am not worried about it though a company should, in my opinion, give you a grand total BEFORE you input your credit card info. Other than that... the flowers do not disappoint, they are always lovely if you ask me.
My grandmother has cancer and had been having a hard week, so I ordered flowers to be delivered the following week from the grandkids. I paid an extra $15 to have them delivered in the morning so I knew she would be home and there to receive them. When they were not there by 12, I called to check on the status and all they could tell me was they were "en route". The flowers were not delivered until 4:33pm and were left on the door step as a package after being in a hot ups truck since 8:15 am when I got the first initial notification that they were in route. When I called to get a refund back for the early delivery, I spoke with someone who I could not understand a single word. NEVER will I order from them again. So disappointing.
I am very disappointed with the service provided by ProFlowers. The first time ordering from them the flowers got to their destination dead! I gave ProFlowers a second chance to make it up, and yet they delivered for the second time dead flowers again! This is very embarrassing! Our organization sent these flowers as a thank you gift, and this was unacceptable in happening for the second time!
The first batch of flowers that were delivered were wilted and a few were dead beyond saving. So I placed a call to customer service and they replaced them no questions asked. The new flowers arrived the next day and were beautiful. They even upgraded the vase which the rep didn't mention but I appreciated. I like that this company stands by its product! I will be ordering from them again and I already recommended them to a friend just this morning. I understand it is not always easy delivery fresh flowers in the summer and particularly when it is the hottest on record, but I am glad I did not get a hassle about getting replacements. Customer service is paramount with me when it comes to doing business. Great service!
My sisters and I decided to send my mom flowers to her work for her 65th birthday. We paid for early morning delivery. I spoke to the reps at Proflowers numerous times. Well the flowers left California at 5pm the day before the delivery. On delivery day they were in Memphis at 7am, 10am, noon, 2pm, I called to be told that since its a residential delivery it has until 9 pm to get there. I explained it was a business delivery, she then told me it would be there by 6pm. I then explained that we paid extra for morning delivery, she said "oh". I continued to sit on hold while she tried to find out what was going on. She eventually told me she didn't know, she apologizes and she can give me credit for my next order. MY NEXT ORDER?!?!?!?! Oh no, I don't think so! I ended up receiving a full credit to my account in the end. My Mom's flowers showed up at her work the next day. She went to pick them up and I was appalled by the photo she sent. So we purchased a beautiful flower arrangement 100 blooms of Sunshine is what I had ordered, the online picture was beautiful! All for $75. What was received was a joke. Never again as it was embarrassing.
Came home and found a box of flowers sitting in the sun---opened it up---no indication of who this was from---called the company with the reference number---they would NOT tell me because of PRIVACY!---hey folks this is NOT medical information but a lousey vase of flowers. IN the mean time I ask friends if these were theirs since I had just come home from the hospital----how embarrassing ----two days later Proflowers called with the name of the sender--------------this is not quality customer service!
I used to use them often because I've always been happy with the price and the service. This last purchase was not the same. I called and asked for a refund because my flowers got sent to the wrong address (still delivered since they just drop them off and don't even make sure they are delivered fo the right person). They say they couldn't do anything except maybe give me like 25% off something. So my friend doesn't get her flowers after her grandmothers passing, I'm out $60 dollars and "I can't order something else." No thank you. I will never use this service ever again.
A friend was in the hospital dying of cancer. I ordered flowers for Saturday delivery. Proflowers called me FOUR DAYS LATER, on the following Tuesday evening (today), to let me know there was a problem with my order and it had not yet been delivered. My friend has been DEAD FOR THREE DAYS! She died the day after the flowers should have been delivered! Shockingly terrible service. I am devastated.
Recently a colleague of my boss lost his three year old grandson. My boss was out of the country so he asked me to send flowers to the funeral. We ordered flowers from proflower.com and expected the flowers to be delivered to the funeral. The day AFTER the funeral I received a call informing me that the flowers were not delivered. After this we will NOT be using proflowers.com in the future. These flowers were supposed to be my boss's way to express his sympathy to this family. We expect quality service and send flowers to people frequently and proflowers.com is by far the worst flower service we have used.
Answer: CS could care less and obviously lied to me. I looked like a fool to my lado love dearly. I can screw my own life with out an assistant costing me $85 bucks.
Answer: You're going to have to call to see if the recipient even received them. When I ordered from ProFlowers, the flowers were never delivered and when I contacted customer service I was told they couldn't be delivered until 4 days after the event for which I ordered them. Customer service did not see the issue and felt this was nothing more than an inconvenience. I would suggest shopping elsewhere.
Answer: I paid over 100 for twelve on Mother's Day and never received them …… Hopefully I get my money back … Buyer beware
