The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

I reserved a room to stay between air flights with Priceline. The property I reserved was much less than the property that Priceline represented. Looking for clean safe place to stay, but this property resembled a 24 hour laundromat with a gravel lot. I've been a long tile Priceline customer, but will try another venue after being duped on this reservation.
I will not recommend my worse enemy to use Priceline. I was purchasing a ticket for my bachelor party in Las Vegas. The dates that I put in were a Wednesday March 16th and to return Sunday March 20th. I entered in the name your own price, the dollar amount I entered was not accepted. It suggested that I change my arrival time to be more flexible. The arrival time would have me leave as early as 5 am the morning of March 20th, and return as late as 2am on Monday the 21st. The next screen says price has been accepted, but the flight has me returning on Tuesday morning the 22nd, 2 days after what I entered. Because you use the tool it makes you purchase the ticket without review. The issue I have is it is misleading to put in dates and then the tool to completely disregard it. I called customer service and the 2 representatives I spoke to did not listen to the issue I had, they read a script to me. Their was no dialogue it was me ask a question, followed by a script that did not relate to anything. The next day I receive an email stating that they are making a one time exception to let me cancel my flight for a $200 fee. So an error on their end will cost me $200? That makes no sense. This is a complete scam and I think others should know this.
I tried Priceline and they did produce the best airfare. The only downsize was that the flight had 3 stops. I was not in a hurry so having 3 stops was not a problem. They beat other sites by at least $50 on my trip.
Whenever I needed urgent travel arrangement. You guys helped. So you guys deserve 5 stars.
I gave it a 3 because of the way you "bid" on rooms, car rental, etc. I've won a couple of good bids but I don't like the way you pick your price but you can't request a certain area around town. I booked my husband in Detroit and even though I ask for at least 3 stars, the room he got was in downtown Detroit between the airport and highway... very noisy for the price. Just be careful.
I use price to book a room for January 14 2016 but when I received my comfiermation they had book it for December 24 2016 o call price line they told me to call the motel in which the motel say it was nothing they could do and call price line back in which I got a lyning customer service person I told them I was traveling why would I need a room for that date I ask them to just cancer the room and put my money back on my card they said they could because the motel wouldn't but the motel told me they would because they had be having troilbe with price line them not knowing I was at the front desks of motel until I put them on the line then they still gave me the run around I just pay for the room with cash and call my card company to try get my money back so if you wise don't use this rip off company
I've saved about $50 on a hotel room and $140 on a flight in the last six months by bidding on Priceline. Try it, even if you're not a William Shatner fan.
Made several bookings through Quidco, following the correct procedure and very carefully (disabling blockers, plugins and even my AV).
All my transactions tracked in the Quidco system, however 2 months later they refused all cashback, and said there is no proof that the transactions were done through Qudico. Even though they are tracked in the system. Sadly Quidco were not prepared to do anything, and fobbed me off.
I have never had any of these problems through other major accommodation booking sites such Booking.com / Trivago, com / Expedia.com.
My honest advice, dont use Priceline.com unless you have to. DOnt support companies that behave in this manner, with dishonesty.
It was my second time I availed their services. This time I noticed huge improvement in their services. Keep improving and best of luck.
I saved my money by getting discount on reservation. The best thing i seen in this.
Cool prices, great deals! Not using it very often, but when I do - I love it
I rented a car through Priceline 12/31/15. While viewing cars and prices an ad popped up to apply for a Priceline Visa and get 20% off of total price of the vehicle I was securing for pick up 01/14/16, if I qualified for the credit card. I qualified and the card was mailed to me and received 01/09/16. I called to activate my new card and also asked a representative how I could confirm the 20% car rental discount before I picked the vehicle up. She asked me if I gave the rental company the card number. I explained I just received the card in the mail. Lo and behold, I am unable to get the 20% discount even though that was the draw by Priceline. The rental company (Priceline) required a credit card number to rent the car. The credit card wasn't received by me for 10 days. A waste of plastic. Won't be using the card nor will I be using Priceline again.
I enjoyed my weekend. They provided me car on reasonable rent. Thank you guys
I rented a Nissan Path Finder or similar vehicle, I got a Rav 4--not the same size vehicle. The folks at Advantage just said, "I don't know why Priceline does that" Would have cost me considerably more to get the Path Finder vehicle. Bad form! Let me know a standard size SUV at Advantage is a Rav 4
Services offer by priceline are average. I availed their services. Only rates are not good. They should provide flexible rate for clients
I got special christmas offer for hotel reservation. Offer was very affordable for me. Thanks for such offers
Priceline.com is a joke. They charge more then the hotel charged. They did not pay the hotel. We had to wait over an hour to be connected so we could get our room. We paid in advance. Priceline charged 11.00 more then the hotel would of charged if we booked directly and that included tax!. And when we finally got a priceline operator, i asked her about tge guarantee and said, you have to talk to website?. That she could do nothing. Websites do not talk to me.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
