The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

Not all deals are good, but some are. Still have to check Kayak and Expedia to make sure you get the best deal
These guys really know how to save you a ton of money. I use them everytime i travel.
I've used on several trips from air fare to hotels and car rentals... They are sure to deliver.
I have never written a review in my life but I thought that my experience justified a comment. I recently purchased a flight to China and called priceline to find out how much it would cost to change my flight to another one. The representative told me that they would go ahead and check that for me. When he came back on the line he told me that he had gone ahead and canceled my flight. The representative tried to convince me that I had to cancel my flight today and that he was going to charge me a 200 dollar fee for canceling my flight. I told him that I never gave him permission to cancel my flight and beause of the charge I wanted to remain on that flight. He told me at this time he would call me back after the matter was solved. I received one call but was not able to take it during that time. I tried to call back and no one was able to assist me with information. I called back a fourth time and they told me that my flight had been rebooked. It was disappointing that they never sent me a confirmation email stating that I was rebooked on the flight. They did not even apologize for their mistake or compensate me for my frustration. I interned at Priceline.com in the past and used to hold them in higher regard. I am very disappointed.
There is not any confusion about their services as my last experience was pretty much awesome. They helped me out quite very well. I'll come again very soon.
Price line messed my passengers name up on the order. We tried to get it fixes but instead we got transferred 5 times and put on hold for over an hour. We didn't get priceline to fix the issue. American airlines fixed the issue for a fee. I will never use pricelone again as long as I live for any of my traveling
The quality of services they provided me, were phenomenal. And their rates are also reasonable.
Many site do not really give intention to their customers. But support center at pricline is amazing. They informed me about my reservation on time because I was waste my valentines.
I booked a hotel via Priceline and literally two minutes later (this is recorded on my emails) cancelled it because we changed our mind about the timing of our trip. My (Canadian) credit card bill showed that I was charged $372.45 on the day I put in the request and the refund didn't come until four days later when the exchange rate was less favourable, so my refund was for $349.73. When I called to complain I was told that they were sorry, but that's their system... Despite having cancelled 2 minutes after purchasing, I paid $22.72 for the privilege. :(
I found best reservation system over here. Priceline is best among all online reservation providers. I shall reorder when I'll need them.
I am very unhappy with my room that I received through the Name Your Own Price tool on Priceline.com. My itinerary clearly reads that all rooms are booked double occupancy, however I received a single bed room for both my coworker and I. I called to get a double room and was charged an additional $40 per night to get a king size bed and a sleeper sofa. Priceline was very unhelpful and unwilling to negotiate a room change to give me the double room I had already paid for.
Ive used priceline many times. Never had a bad experience. I love the Choose your price option. Its been more than good to my pockets 9 times out of 10 (can't win them all lol).
It is my pleasure that I avail their services at urgent basis and they did best for what they can do.
I am definitely including priceline.com in the list of very unethical organizations. I just rented a car with them for three days for 15 dollars a day. Everything looked great with the offer and deal. However, after paying, I was asked online if I wanted to upgrade to a better car for 18 dollars, not per day, it just said 18 dollars. When I say yes, and approved the transaction, I saw that they actually charged 18 dollars, plus taxes per day. Which means I ended up pay more than double what I had planned. After getting their customer support online I was told the deal is unchangeable and non refundable. I call their customer support to get the same answer. I definitely believe they should be legally liable for the way of doing business. I should be considered illegal to do what they are doing, but I guess they can do as they please. I hope they lost each and everyone of their customers. I am also writing a letter to their customer relations department to let them know how I feel about them. Please share if you care.
I called Priceline to book and cruise on 1/28. The customer service rep Lonnie Thompson had sent me the documents to review and accept the cruise details. I found Expedia had a lower price. I called and spoke to another Priceline customer service rep, they would not match it. I asked to cancel my reservation and she said I would be charged $100 cancellation fee. Told her I did not accept the original documents and got no reponse. Tried calling Lonnie Thompson back twice on 2/4 and have not received a call back as of 2/7.
This time I got good services so I am giving this company 4 stars. I hope next time they'll do better than this than I'll be able to give them 5 stars.
I book very often for business and personal and tend to use various travel companies. This time with Priceline I had a to make an adjustment with a car rental (returning it two days earlier than planned) and I was told I couldn't adjust the reservation. This is 37 Days Beforehand. I then requested to just cancel the reservation and, again I was told that I couldn't because of their policy. I thought this was amazing because of the 37 Day notice and the conversation turned into a "Who's on first" with me asking why and her saying 'because of the policy'. I would ask, "what's the Policy" and she would say "that you can't cancel it"... then I would say "why?" (and repeat.).
VERY disappointed with the service and their 'policy'. Perhaps a day before would be difficult to manage but, I certainly feel 37 Days is plenty of time to allow slipping past this ridiculous policy.
Many companies offer the same Travel access and deals but I've certainly had much better luck with customer service with other companies both with courteous customer service providers and "policies".
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
