I booked a rental car from Economy car rental in Hollywood Florida through priceline.com and at the car rental desk, they forced me to pay 70% of my rental bill as waver, knowing that i provided my own car insurance and I paid in full in advance online, because i have a Canadian driver license and not American driver license.
Like many folks, I don't mind using Priceline to help save a few dollars on a flight. However, my recent experience on April 11,2022 was horrible. I booked my trip many months in advance - with only 1 day notice, my flight itinerary was changed without my consent. The normal thing to do is work with the airline to (a) ask why this happened and (b) find replacement options. For Priceline, you have to wait 30 minutes each time to speak to a customer service contact - they will transfer you to a "specialist" in the general queue and wait another 30 minutes. It will take 1 hour to process any simple request. Going forward, I will never use Priceline. All users should be warned that if there is a flight issue (change / cancel), you will be miserable. So much better to book direct with the airline. Thanks
I wanted to book a hotel where pets are allowed, so i set the filter in the search for pets. When they showed the hotels, they offered a deal where I get 20% rebate when I accept that they will chose 1 out of 3 listed hotels (I had no impact which of the hotels). I did it and then found out that the hotel I booked does not allow pets. The booking cannot be changed, I had an online chat with a priceline agent minutes thereafter, still they did not accept a cancelling.
Absolutely do not book with them! They charged us for two rooms, their supplier didn't have two rooms. They refused to compensate us for their mistake. Then, the Priceline manager was verbally abusive to us. We had to fight them to get refunded for a room they never booked — becuase it wasn't available.
As stated above, I unexpectedly lost my 35yo husband to Covid. Priceline has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. We had a flight, hotel, & rental care thru Priceline & every step has been a disaster. I am still waiting for a refund on a flight we had to cancel for our family bc of his passing. I made several phone calls & provided everything they needed, including his death certificate twice… STILL NOTHING!
For reducing few dollars, we accepted so-called non-refund/non-cancellation policy for a rental car.
Things changed not always as you think, we really need to cancel this reservation. However, this policy is as rigid as possible after the click you made. To me, this non-refund/non-cancellation policy is the worst policy once so ever.

This is my second time booking with these guys and my first time having to make a change. I started this ordeal at 9:30 in the morning and its now 1:17 in the afternoon. I have called repeatedly and I have been given the run around, people did not know how to help me and finally a few minutes ago I was told to call the airline directly. This is beyond ridiculous.
They fixed it when it was incorrect. At first it advertised a hotel as being pet friendly but it turned out not to be. But they corrected the situation and refunded us

I have never been so hurt and disappointed in the lack of professionalism and dishonesty. Today was my first time making a purchase from Priceline. I paid for Main Cabin and got Basic Economy and despite the website promising free refunds within 24 hours of cancellation, Priceline refused to give me a refund. I am going to tell everyone I know and social media not to use Priceline. They have no integrity and are a dishonest company! They do not care about customers AND HAVE NO INTEGRITY. THEY ARE A SCAM. You do not get what you pay for, and they say that you can get a full refund within 24 hours of travel, and you do not. I paid for Main Cabin, and I got Basic Economy, and despite selecting my seats, and paying in full, the confirmation email did not have my seat, nor did it have the correct charge. I called Priceline immediately, was on the phone for 8 hours, being transferred to various people all over the world. No one would upgrade my ticket, nor would they refund me the money, as advertised. DO NOT USE PRICE LINE, THEY ARE DISHONEST.
Price line wil NOT Give a credit for a rental booking after paying in full for a reservation. I was not able to go on my trip because of work related and they would Not refund or give a credit. The Renal car company don't have an Issue with it because the notification was given 14 days before expecting day to pick up.

I placed an order for car on Priceline for FLL airport. It gave a choice of 3 it would determine. I chose it based at the airport. I did not get one at the airport. I got the one off site which is not what I wanted. I called and can't cancel it due to type. They are deceptive if looking for on airport and give choice of 2 on airport and the other isn't which I did not know until after booked it. My fault for nit checking but still deceptive. I will nit rent from Priceline for being deceptive ever again!
Made a reservation for a hotel at a American Inn Hotel after checking into the room found the room dirty hotel staff was rude and was instructed to call Priceline. We called immediately and all they could do is give a 15% discount off our next trip. Why do we pay for a room for 4 people when they give you a room for 2 and Priceline is ok with that cause you were given a room. Worst service ever
Price line is not what they use to be period. Go anywhere else, even nowhere else would be good. At the cost of my lively hood they burned. They took my money and left me without the car I was promised. I had to be in Seattle for work and now I'm burnt. Thanks Deadline
I called and trusted Priceline to book the rights hotel. But the lady on the other end of the phone didn't speak good English. I told her several times which hotel I wanted to stay at and after booking we found out they had chosen the wrong hotel. Had to call 3 times and had to talk with several different people with no help ask to speak with the manager on duty and girl lied to me and wife there was a manager there. Finally spoke with the manager at Priceline and that was a wast of time we had to pay for the wrong hotel and then we call the right hotel which was very nice we're we had to pay again Now I receive an email stating that we were not getting our money back ever know it was there fault. All be aware this scam I will never use there so-called service again.
Terrible customer service I've used Priceline for years I used to think you got a better deal but you get terrible rude people and they have made mistakes twice now and would not fix the problem with the car rental reservation so I had to book another hotel so my husband could pick his rental car up at the airport because his flight was laid over and the rental car closed so he couldn't get the car to drive to his hotel they have put me out of pocket twice never will I book through them again! I asked to extend his stay and I was willing to pay and they couldn't even help me to extend everything for a day no modifications even though he was shorted a day I couldn't even pay extra!

Priceline straight up lied - Theyn charged me 594.00 for a 5 night stay - when we got our bill, it only said 475.00. When I called customer service to ask why? - they said its their profit? Your profit? REALLY PRICELINE? I will never book with you guys again!
I booked a return flight to fly Calgary to Las Vegas via Westjet from March 30th, 2022 to April 6th, 2022 via Priceline booking system through my rewards program. During the time of my scheduled flight Westjet was offering a "Book with Confidence" promotion meaning they allowed 1 change or cancellation to any flight with no penalty or no fees due to Covid. My flight leaves in 27 hours as of this posting.
I wound up needing to either change or cancel my flight but Priceline refused to follow the Westjet policy which was publicly posted on their website for the world to see. They claimed that I was not eligible to change or cancel my flight even though I confirmed with Westjet that I was indeed allowed to make that change or cancel my flight.
Priceline does not follow Westjet policy even when it is publicly posted on their website. Priceline is unethical. Do not trust this company.
Booked a van (paid in full in September) through Priceline in September 2021 to use March 2022. Received a call from rental agency two days before travel, they did not have the van available. Further, they do not rent vans. Priceline advertised, booked and took money for a van that did not exist. After 2 hours waiting, Priceline offered to refund the money, not find me a van. So a day before travel, I am looking for a suitable replacement. Never again with Priceline. Do not waste your time.

Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
