I booked a hotel through Priceline. The pictures and reviews made it appear to be a nice resort style hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona. I was looking forward to my trip. When we arrived at the hotel there was a metal fence around it. When we checked-in we asked when the restaurant was open, the clerk said it was no longer open. We asked where the breakfast would be, we were told there was no breakfast. There was a juice machine and I dispensed some juice which came out looking like cloudy water. When we walked up to our room the stair well was filthy. When we entered our room the carpet was covered in stains as if someone was murdered in the room. There was hair on the bed pillows and the bed caved in as my husband sat on it. He told me to pick up our bags before we got bed bugs and get out of the room. When we went down to the front desk to check out the clerk told us the hotel was due to be bulldozed later in the week. We had to book another hotel as this place was uninhabitable. We called Priceline immediately and reported our situation. They said someone would get back to us within 48 hours. One week later no response. I called back in and they're playing some game saying that it was booked through another party. I've been on hold for about one hour as they transfer me back and forth to another company. After repeating the same story for which they have reported taken notes, I was told they need to get the refund request approved from yet another party. Really? I guess they will call me back another day too. Filthy, disgusting, crack motel.

Fraudsters

I booked a trip to attend my father's funeral, airline, hotel and rental car. A few hours later, I had to call to cancel trip due to his girlfriend having covid. Re booked the trip a week later with Priceline. Priceline refunded hotel and car, but not airline, called them repeatedly and they said they already refunded. I asked to speak to a supervisor, never got one. Finally had to call chargeback at my bank. I work for the District Attorney's office, so I know crooks when I see them and these are crooks!

I booked a flight with priceline 7 months prior to the trip to Italy. The airline once changed the trip with us missing a connection. After many calls we thought it was resolved. Then the airline changed arrival and with arrival 2 days after departure. As we our seniors one with disability sitting 20 hours at airport with 40 hour journey is not a choice. I called priceline repeatedly too many times to count as they said call back in 5 days or a week. They said they were messaging airline to make a change as a better option available. In the meantime I called airline and they said Priceline can make the change to the better option. I was lied to more times than I can count. I was told it was fixed after 1 1/2 wait on phone. Well upon printing the reservation it was unchanged and the same. It is now less than 2 weeks before our flight and I am still getting the run around. I believe they want me to cancel and then book the flight to Italy on a different airline at a much higher cost. This is a scam. Neither airline or Priceline will help. What happened to caring about customers and providing a service. When you book dates backed up with hotel reservations etc., an airline should not randomly change dates but Priceline should help and they have not. I have been promised call backs and emails none of which has happened. I have told the problem to probably 25+ different people to get help. Please if you want to have a stress free travel experience especially air travel... Do NOT book with priceline.

Rental car

We book with priceline for car at Dollar rent car agency in BLI airport, after landing go to Dollar counter but no one working and we have to rent from other counter agency, it did cost more expensive because priceline mistake. It so bad services agency priceline provide to us, we will not recommend my friend book with priceline

Beware if you rent cars from Priceline: they are non-exchangable, refundable, nonchangable when you read the fine print when paid upfront. Renting direct from car rental agencies are changable, and never pay ahead, just get a reservation.

I will never use priceline again. Stay away. I'm out $1100. I canceled within 2 hours of booking a hotel. I made a mistake with the dates. I called their so called customer service department. They are horrendous. I explained my situation and they pretty much said to bad. I would have taken a credit. I will never use priceline ever again. Stay away. You have been warned.

Horrible customer service and Disappointed

Booked a Whistler hotel with Priceline and was showing $145 but till I made payment and then it showed 187$ charged. When I called there was no helpline and only automatic voicemails with absolutely no help. I tried really hard by manipulating automatic voicemails and reached customer care and they explained that it was charged in USD but no where on site or before booking it explained anything about currency and they were absolutely helpless to cancel or issue refund saying it's non cancellable, even when I had called them right away after booking and the date was like week away. Horrible service and disappointed and would never use it again and recommend people to be aware of this usd cad conversion as it looks like they deliberately made it this way.

Prineline is a joke

Priceline is a huge joke. They have false advertising and dont have any concern for their customers. They will take your money and screw you over. It says free cancellation and says so many more lies. I paid over 200 dollars for my rental with my debt card but when I got there to pick up the car I was told even though I have already paid and had the card on file that I paid with and even had the card with me I was denied the car and now priceline is refusing to give me my money back. They are the worse travel site ever and their customer service skills are the worse.

I rented a car through Priceline. The price I paid in person was over $130 more than they advertised online. Do not charge $6/day for a vehicle then add $130 in fees. Better to just disclose the actual price on the website so customers are aware of what they are getting themselves into. I could not walk away at the last minute so I was forced into paying a price for a rental that I would never have agreed to had it been disclosed. I was tricked. & the rental company USAVE did not allow you decline their insurance and use your own. As most other companies always allow this. The collision and liability combined added an additional $60+ per day, which is highway robbery. I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. Next time be up front with customers about the actual price of rental vehicles. I would give no stars if I could for the dishonestly and lack of transparency to customers. Do better as a business.

The Best Way to Get a Headache!

Priceline service is awful. Do not use them. 5 minutes after making a reservation come to find out it did not account for the children. I was told to speak with the hotel. The hotel stated that it was priceline issue which I agree with. Priceline is garbage, they would not do anything to resolve the issue. Nothing!

Eves Unwilling to honor their own coupons

I booked a hotel for Chicago and tried to use the coupon that they sent to me for 10% off. The price online reflected the discount, the debit card charge did not. When asking Priceline.com to fix my coupon, they claimed that it was beyonds their system's capabilities and instead offered me a 15% off coupon on my next stay. They sent me a 5% off coupon, which expired in four days. Their customer service is horrible for a $34 credit. I will pay $340 more somewhere else to avoid giving these thieves one more cent. Beware.

Scammers

On 3/27 I called their customer service to nook a flight for a friend. I had never used them before but their ad popped up first so I thought I would give them a try. I have always had good luck with other companies so I never gave it a second thought. They kept putting me on hold and coming back and saying the tickets were going up. After 2 or 3 times I finally bought the ticket. When I received my confirmation I had paid for the ticket@ the original price of $461 and another $ 461 to priceline for a booking fee. The ticket price didn't go up because I had to pay as 2 separate charges. One to the airline and one to priceline. I actually bought the tickets on 3/27 and flight was mid May. But they had also thrown in on the confirmation non refundable. So I ended up paying $975 total on credit card before it was all said and done. I will never use this company again and anyone that asks I tell them to beware. I only gave them 1 star because I couldn't go any lower.

Spam offer

They sent contract to rent a car for 10 usd in cancun and they said no any extra charges. When I went to rent they asked for additional 40 usd for insurance and if I dont want insurance total will be 160 usd.
The company was Fox car rental and they are spam company, dont trust them at all, fake offers :(

Very bad experience with Priceline first when I came to Bangkok and found my hotel reservation has been cancelled by Priceline and now, I am writing this email from Bangkok my flight should be on 27 May from BKK to Istanbul I am trying to exchange it I realized there is no reservation from BKK to Istanbul I am very frustrated Please I need help here is my phone number **************

Priceline quoted a rental car for CAD682.59, total price ended up being $841.90 due to add ons the car rental place forced on, let priceline know and attached a Marketplace article that also supports that the company misleads and adds on extra costs, reviews of Economy Rent a Car also show this. Called priceline got this:

We understand your claim that the rental counter charged you more than the reserved price. We contacted Economy Rent a Car, and they explained that you were charged correctly for the rental rate and tax; however, the reason for the increase of the overall rental bill to 841.90 CAD is due to the additional services that you added at the time of pick up. Their records show that you added the Third Party Deductible ($119.50), AMF ($113.54), along with the applicable taxes and fees. Based on the rental details, they concluded that these charges were rendered correctly for this reservation. If you have any further questions or verification, please feel free to contact the rental counter directly at *******444.

So priceline believes the rental company and not the 1300 reviews and Marketplace, I also phoned Economy Rent a Car and recorded them saying the priceline quote is wrong that there is addtional charges when you show up to get the car, also that the unlimited miledge is faslse there is a 3K cap for the 10 days of rental.

Zero integrity

I called PL because after my outgoing flight to Orlando was cancelled by the airline (Alaska), the rental period for my car was lessened by one day. I was able to fly out the next day and picked up the car a day late. The fair thing to do would have been to check my Dollar reservation to verify the truth of my story, then refund one day of the rental period... amounting, no doubt, to less than $100. PL refused, saying only that it was a non-refundable contract. They even acknowledged that the circumstances were completely outside of my control. This is the epitome of zero integrity. (* I should add that even when the first PL phone rep said she was going to refund my entire bill, I said no, that won't be necessary, since I picked up the car a day later. And I only drove for one less day than contracted!) My next phone contact with a supervisor ended in humiliation and defeat. May your zero integrity ultimately result in zero customers. That would be fair!

Every time I search for flights and get to the booking screen, I'm told that the price has miraculously increased "due to demand" or that the very reasonably priced flight they advertised to get me to click through has now suddenly "sold out."

Clickbait and switch. Pure and simple. Scam.

Disgusting, dirty and 3rd graded hotel!

This hotel has rated themselves as a comfort and 4 star hotel but their online reviews and pics don't match the reality at all. They are a dirty, substandard and disgusting hotel. When I checked in all rooms were smelling of intense smoke- the non smoking ones as well! The bell boy was trying to influence the decision of the receptionist by saying there was no smoke smell. When I insisted and fought, they changed the room but even the non smoking rooms smelt of smoke.

Once I checked in I was surprised to see the interiors were 3rd graded and below standard and were equivalent to a budget hotel. The walls had paint and stickers peeling off. The furniture had burn mark stains from cigarettes. There were some random stains on the walls. The air condition was a split unit and there was a big structure in the room making it ugly. Room setup too was congested and not well planned and spacious.

Luckily I have only one night here and unfortunately this was prepaid through my tour agent (roadrunners) and hence I could do nothing about it. But had it been my own booking I would definitely cancel it and switch to another decent and class hotel.

And to add to all the misery I just discovered the air conditioning isn't working. I opened the Google reviews and found that many people have complained about this in the past so it's not something they can post an excuse about. They know that their ac doesn't work. When I called the reception to inform about this she told me to open the windows... seriously! Is this your customer service. I will further write about this to a Consumer rights authority in Turkey or some authority where this review is taken into Consideration and they will be penalised for this.

Booked a car rental for 10 days had to leave due to family emergency and two reps told me the fees for the days unused were non refundable and kept repeating the statement. I understand having a policy in place but they could not offer any other solutions to help in my case. Either use of another rental credit at a later date or a partial refund. This says a lot to me, it says "We at Priceline don't care what life brings to our customers we are not Giving one dime/credit back to you!". This will be my very last time ever using them. And I hope no one else does as they don't value customers that have emergency life situations.
