The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. This feedback indicates a critical need for improved transparency and customer support practices.

I had a last minute trip scheduled to Atlanta and worried about not being able to find hotel accommodations to suit my needs. Priceline not only found me a hotel suite at The Marriott downtown Atlanta, but I landed the room for $85/night, compared to the normal rate of $189/night. I now use Priceline faithfully!
This company scams was charged by Hertz rental and priceline for the same vehicle. I have been lied to by Hertz Counter Agent. I was unaware my card was charged by Priceline prior to my arrival, and was told I needed to provide my card to Hertz. Was again charged for the rental, but agreed to a 16.00 per day upgrade. In the end, I was charged 147.00 a day for a vehicle but priceline guaranteed a 35.00 rate. I will be seeking a recoarse, whether via attorney, or State Attorney General's office. It is robbery, a scam, and I believe these companies collude to scam through their name your rate program.
Have purchased numerous trips... hotels whatever they're great!
Booked a car with Hertz thru Priceline in Germany. I Had charges on my account from both Priceline and Hertz for the same Car Rental. I was also Grossly overcharged by Hertz (like Double). I Called Priceline when the charges came thru on the credit card. They took care of the Hertz Double charge and also refunded the Priceline charges. Other than having to pay close attention to the Monthly Credit Card chargers occurring following travel when using Priceline affiliates, I was very happy with the outcome using Priceline.
Thank you priceline, you are amazing. Every time you provide my excellent services. I will definitely use you services again.
Be advised that for the "name your own price" service, Priceline classifies a king room as double occupancy. That means that, when booking for two people who do not want to sleep in the same bed (perhaps it is a professional trip, or just distant relatives), you should not use the name your own price service. I booked a room through Priceline for two acquaintances on a professional trip, and they gave me one King bed and refused to change it without a fee, even though two queen beds would have been cheaper. Now I am paying more than what the room costs through the hotel directly.
If you book travel using the name your own price they will not change it nor refund it. I booked a ticket for a cousin in the military who wants to visit his family. I was hoping to get a good deal for an am flight. They booked one for 9pm... I tried to pay more for an earlier time, they wouldn't allow it. Even after 20 mins of booking it which allows ample amount of time to cancel the flight on their time they wouldn't do it. It ended up costing me almost $400 for nothing. I ended up busing another ticket. I tell everyone I meet this situation to discourage them from booking with priceline. I hope the company goes belly up!
I hired their car rental services. That was so easy and it was reason able for me. I totally enjoyed.
I used priceline for the first time on my vacation. My wife and I booked a round trip back east and were only looking at direct flights and ones with 1 hop. We paid for the tickets and chose seats next to each-other so we could sleep and share snacks, watch the same movie etc.
NONE OF THIS HAPPENED! They screwed up our entire trip. I called the airline and I was told "They are a marketing partner and their technology is not good enough to pass the information to us correctly, so we see this a lot"! They told us, go direct next time. I am disputing the charges currently. Their customer service hung up on me twice.
This company sucks so much that there are no words in dictionary to describe them. I wasn't able to travel because of an earthquake in the destination. The airline initialized refund to everyone and when I called Priceline, they didn't issue me a refund and kept hanging up on me. I will never in my life buy any service from this company. The WORST company I have ever dealt with. WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST! This company disgusting!
Your customer service is outstanding, never left a query unanswered!
I used to like Priceline but after this last trip, never again. They booked us in the worst hotel I've ever seen, spiders and cobwebs on the ceiling, hole punched in the bathroom door, water damage tile about to fall out of the ceiling, used garbage under the bed, the list goes on. We called the front desk to see if someone would come clean the room. Someone came by and said "Housekeeping went home" and dropped of a busted up vacuum so we could clean the room ourselves! There is no way that place is the star level Priceline sold us. And with their no-refund policy there is no protection against getting a dump like this! I wouldn't stay at that place for free. We had to flush the cost a two night reservation down the toilet and go across the street and get another hotel out of pocket which seriously affected our trip. Going on vacation should be relaxing, not a game of Russian Roulette.
Priceline will charge you exorbitant fees and will not let you out of your reservation no matter how quickly you cancel
I shopped here in the past and I saved bundles on my trips.
I had to go to Boston for two nights on family business and needed a handicap accessible
King deluxe room on short notice. I used Priceline and found the most perfect hotel!
Not only did it meet all my requirements, but it was across the street from the offices
That I had an appointment with! When I was checking in, the clerk told me I was getting
An unheard of deal- that he had rented my room for twice the price the night before.
These guys are very professional. Every time i get my order on time. This is what i called "Excellence".
I rent a car from here and i am so happy that they provide me car on reasonable rates.
DO NOT USE PRICELINE to book anything!. The policy is that you pay your money before you know where you are going and if they book you in the worse place in that city then so be it. You cannot get your money back nor transfer reservation... I know for a fact, they booked me and my 2 month old baby and my 9 yrs old daughter in the hood. What a waist of time and money... I WILL NEVER use Priceline again.
Don't get me wrong, Priceline can help you find amazing prices but you are at the mercy of the God of Random Hotel Placement, haha! Probably you get what you pay for...
Quality is according to price is amazing. I am very happy with it. I recommend this t everyone.
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
