Searched restaurant through Google and ordered my dinner through Postmates (even not aware, just click order button). Restaurant receipt charged 82.61 include tax. Postmates charged me 90.45. Rediculous markups on top of restaurant menu. Terrible experience. I would give it a zero star.

I have been texting them on their site because you can't talk to a live person on the phone! They charged me for July and won't do anything about it! They didn't even look to see that I sent a screenshot of my bank account! I've been with Door Dash for several years and never had this kind of problem! Lousy customer service!

Didn't deliver

They didn't deliver and never notified me. Did nothing to correct the issue. Couldn't even get a live person to talk to about it. I will go out of my way to make sure I never have them deliver me food again.

Worst customer service ever
July 9, 2021

Ordered $112 worth of Italian food at 7:15. I received a delivery window from 6:50 to 7:05. At 7:25 I called the number in the email receipt I received. I was on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up and driving to the restaurant myself. When I arrived the hostess was on the phone with Postmates as the driver did not show up. The hostess handed me the phone and the individual on the other end said that it was because they were very busy. I explained that my food had been sitting there for over an hour and she replied well you were there now so no harm no foul. I will never use Postmates again. Very unprofessional!

I put in an order for about $73. They didn't ask for my phone number. I never got a confirmation email. Then an hour after they charged me I get a notice saying my order didn't go through. By now I'm really hungry and pissed off. I should have used Door Dash or Grub Hub.

Garbage company. They will take your money lose or mess up your order, have you sitting there for houra wont refund you or make it up to you in any way, their customer service is a joke of an automated system that is absolutely worthless and intended to make it impossible to get help or retribution. Ive sat here for 3 hours and had 5 orders cancelled on me because these idiots are too dumb to do their job. Run away from these crooks and never look back. They treat their employees just as bad. I know this because I drove for them for a while. Theyll do everything they can to take as much of your money (as a customer) or to give you less money (as an employee). Go to grubhub or doordash or something else because postmates is TRASH.

This company sucks

If I could give them zero stars I would walmart uses this company to deliver groceries and household products and the drivers steal your merchandise never deliver it and mark it as delivered or the deliver the wrong groceries to the wrong people its frustrating and annoying I hope walmart uses a different company soon I don't trust this company they suck

21% service fee

So I was shocked to see the total of my meal go from 20$ to $30 in the name of ‘taxes and fees'. I had never paid it any attention on Postmates before and when I clicked the explanation it showed a 21% service fee! There is also a delivery fee? Insane honestly

Postmates allowed me to place an order and pay for it when there was no available driver in my area. They then asked me to wait four and a half hours for my food to be delivered. When I patiently requested a full refund they told me I would still be charged a $12 fee cancelation fee. When I insisted a deserved a full refund because it was a mistake on Postmates and they told me it was a mistake that I had made. I ended up having to pay the $12 fee. I Highly recommend nobody ever use this service ever again. Postmates is the worst service I've ever experienced! Their "online chat" agents were rude to me also. Worst app in the history of online apps! Do yourself a favor and use door dash instead.

I ordered from a restaurant 1.1 miles away and got an email saying my food was delivered. At the bottom of the email the address was wrong but on my original order my address was correct. I put in the address that they said they delivered it to and it showed it was a block away. I walked over and searched but couldn't find my food. I called it quits after 20 minutes. I then tried to get a refund but postmates have virtually no customer support.

Everytime I have tried this service, it has been the ultimate fail. These orders are years apart and they have not fixed any issues with their app, their service, or the people they send out. They do not refund for wrong and tampered food that arrives and use bot or template answers 4hrs in a chat hold. Today was the last straw and I am reporting them to BBB and consumer reports and the bad restaurant. Post pandemic, one would think they got their act together but Postmates should not be open.

The driver: Alishia - picked up our order - received notification of pick up - and almost 40 min later after calling the restaurant - was told that the driver was given the wrong address - (not so, correct address on the e mail confirmation) -that two women did not order it. Never returned to the restaurant. The restaurant only had my first name and last initial - and postmates made NO effort to contact me. I'm now on my 5th attempt to contact customer service - did a cut and paste of the info i recieved - and i'll be connected to the next available customer support representive. I've seen this movie before

I ordered with postmates for the first time. My order was 30 minutes later than even tiger latest estimate. And I only received half of my order. Now I've been waiting on customer support for over half an hour with no response.

Very upset that I accidentally order food at wrong location and tried to cancel to get my refund back since I order again at the location were I thought I was ordering and they weren't able to refund me my money. Not even half of my money very sad.

I placed an order through postmates for China walk on Bailey's road and there seemed to be no other way to do it because the website directed you to 2 postmates without even signing in or anything and whenever I waited for my food and never came and the tracking order said that they were picking it up and they never came into liberty it's been over an hour and whenever I could contact a customer service through the chat they disconnected me when I told them to cancel my order and give me my money back because I never brought it to me. They said that I was supposed to go pick it up. Why would I pay for delivery fee and go through postmates if I was gonna pick it up myself in the 1st place? This makes no sense and I can't believe this place can is allowed to do this. Stealing, poor customer service

Whatever you do, I warn everyone to NEVER use postmates. Normally I never purchase food places to order online, ever. However, on my day off I decided to order something on Bj's. I honestly didn't know anything about "postmates" so as I was ordering online, my card went fraud when I was trying to purchase to place my order to go pick it up at the restaurant so as soon I arrived, it showed me that my order didn't go through. Postmates still charged me when I didn't get my order so I had tried calling them to give me my money back while I got an email saying it wasn't supposed to be charged but postmates still grab my money. As I called trying to get my money back, I'd felt odd when a man asked for my card information and he was shady trying to make it sound as if they aren't the ones who are responsible for taking your money when he tried to convinced me to go talk at the Bj's manager when clearly I got proved on my email that postmates who were the ones who still charged not the restaurant. He told me that they were gonna send me an email by tomorrow morning, completely bs I received nothing. I tried calling them again after freaking 2 hours of waiting in the line, they hanged up on me. Please be aware of postmates. They will take your money.

One order we did awhile back the driver said delivered and it never was. This last driver left my order at the sign for the complex at the road and not to our door. All the service fees and delivery fees on top of your order costs and this is what these people do. Will save money and drive my butt down to get my own food instead of paying for this service and giving money to these disgusting drivers.

Complete ripoff

I was directed to Postmates (subsidiary of Uber Eats) from a restaurant site; it wasn't clear at the time, but the restaurant would have accepted my order directly. Postmates added fees to more than double the cost of the order, then adjusted the price another $10 upwards. Don't use them!
