Just a note - if they don't pick up and bring all of your food, Postmates will NOT refund you. Instead they offer you an account credit for the amount of the missing items, which must be used within 30 days. So they take your money, do not give you all of the food you purchased, and then resolve that by requiring you to order from them again within a month. "Sorry we stole your money. If you want it back you'll give us MORE money. ASAP!" I was actually told that I had to request a refund instead of a credit prior to the expiration of the credit. Ironically I sent them multiple emails the day they placed the credit on my account telling them I wanted a refund instead - that I had no intention of using their dishonest business again. And they waited until the day after the credit expired - 31 days later - to reply and tell me they could not refund me because the credit had expired the previous day. They don't even reply to BBB complaints about it.

As opposed to other food delivery services with Postmates the driver sometimes (2/3of my rides today) has to show up at the restaurant and order the food and pay for it with a card So you end up waiting an extra 20 minutes. With other food delivery services you show up at the restaurant, pick up the food the CUSTOMER ordered and you're on your way. Today after I ordered food for the customer I had to wait 40 minutes for the order to be finished. So instead of getting other rides you're spend extra time waiting for the order to be ready. Because of several incidents like this today I only made $6 an hour as opposed to $30 an hour on a other service that doesn't make drivers go to the restaurant and order the food

I signed up for the app but they didn't actually deliver for the one business I was trying to order from (I believe Starbucks) so I never placed an order. I then got a charge for the monthly membership since I had put in my card information intending to order though I don't recall signing up for it. I tried to call but they don't have phone support. I emailed for a refund but they never replied. I tried to report it as fraud to my bank but the posted charge had disappeared so I figured oh well as long as I got my money back. Then they charged again the next month so I emailed a few more times. I even posted on their wall on Facebook and they told me to DM them. I did and they said that my email was already in queue and so there's nothing they can do. It's been over a month and they still haven't responded and they still haven't refunded my money and they haven't stopped the continuous charges so I am reporting fraud to my bank. Seriously don't use Postmates.

I do post mates ready to leave I try really hard the pay sucks and I always communicate with customers letting them know times food not ready yet. Ect. But the pay is unfair 3.45 per delivery maybe 2.50. I mean we drivers work really hard I also do door dash least I let the customer and door dash no what s going on and get paid good money. But really gas is going up so does the pay. The owner needs to know about this before they loose employees. I like to see customers happy I dont ask for tips but sure helps I also know its expensive to order through these apps. I hope the owner reads this reviews. Here a picture to show what we get paid. I mean it great and all but please every thing going help help your bussiness grow to.

I have tried for 2 days to tip my driver. The app fails, the online site fails, customer service fails, bot replies fails. I apologize to my driver and all the drivers who are not tipped due to this evil company's business model.

I decided to order from Postmates for the first time on a Friday night because I had along week and did not feel like cooking. I put the order in and I waited. I knew it will take long but after the 50 mins had passed I tracked my delivery driver who kept taking small streets(he was on a bike) them almost 2 hours later! It said it was 2 mins away I go right outside with the tip money and I wait and wait till I get a notification that they had deliver the food.the guy in the bike was never on my block and there was no number to reach him. I contact Postmates right away in the app and get nothing. I go to sleep upset and hungry. I try them for the next 4 days but it's a 59 min wait every time and they kept ending the call. They then without notice give me credit. I try to use it and it says my account is suspended. I call and they said they will contact me via email my credit is now expiring today and I still ha w not received anything. This is the worst experience with seeking a solution I have ever had. I will definitely never use Postmates again and telling people to watch out. Take your chances every time you order because if you run into a problem they will definitely not care.

I never even heard of postmates before. All of a sudden I was getting notifications from my debit card of a purchase for 69.16 two days ago and then tonight another one for 113.39. I started googling the company to see what service they provide. I found out it is food and grocery delivery service and I was out eating at a resteraunt when I got the notification of this so I definitely didn't order anything from here. I have used grubhub and doordash but didn't even know about this company. When I tried to call them to say this wasn't me, their automated system says my wait time is 59 minutes. I'm waiting to see if they actually answer but I do not hold out any hope.

I had a fradulent charge from you twice in april. I submitted my info two weeks ago with no one contacting me back. I have called a 5 times in those two weeks with no one being able to give me any sort of update. I have also been talked rudely to and placed on hold while i was explaining my frustrations to an employee. Postmates has the worst customer service i have experienced in my life. Funny thing is, i was never a customer. Only the person who stole my card information was. However upon trying to deal with Postmates to resolve this situation, i see how they treat their customers and I refuse to ever order through them. I will be filing a lawsuit about my fraudulent charges and the lack of communication or concern on Postmates end.

Postmate ordered my food paid for it I even tip the guy $15 a few days later the charge appeared on my credit card again when I called they had me on hold for 3 hours unacceptable I called back but this time I press that I was a merchant the immediately picked up the phone poor customer service beware

Fraudsters

I made a purchase on March 31st and paid a decent amount for an order from a restaurant I wanted to try. I was advised the order would take about 50-70 minutes to arrive and although that was absurdly long, I chose to go ahead with the order. I always track my orders when I do deliveries so I can be aware of when the driver is approaching. I got the alert that the driver would be arriving soon and I was sitting right by my window waiting for the driver to arrive and deliver my food before going out to get it. No one ever arrived, but my order was marked as delivered. I didn't even see a car come into my subdivision and possibly deliver to the wrong address. I immediately notified Postmates and was advised that someone would be contacting me. I got an email asking me to verify that the phone number on my account was a good number for them to call. I confirmed it was. I never heard from anyone and then my dispute was closed without resolution. I reopened it and was told I would hear from someone in a day or so. Nothing. It's been almost a month and they have not refunded me. I will never order with them again!

I ordered via Postmates and within 12-13 minutes received a call that my order has been left in the lobby. However I couldn't find it anywhere. On calling the restaurant, they said they don't even work with Postmates so how is the restaurant even listed on the app, and taking orders? Postmates did not refund the money on my original payment and gave me a Postmates credit.

They chronically cancel your orders after waiting for hours. I had six in one month! They then promise to give you a credit for your troubles and never deliver on it. Their fees are outrageous and make no sense to even deal with paying a membership for the pleasure of being ripped off. They have made unauthorized charges on my account to the point I had to take it up with my bank and have them investigated bc there is no real way of getting ahold of these a holes. Do not use them. You will be so sorry. I thought door dash was Satan but these people are lucifer's big evil step-daddy. I literally hate them and wish them every horrible thing that can ever happen to a human being on everyone that works for that scam artist company.

GOD AWFUL

Absolutely the worst service I have ever used. Paid for a membership for a year or so. Cancelled membership because I no longer needed it and they have tried to charge my checking account EVERY MONTH SINCE JANUARY. It pends then it falls off. This past month it pended then cleared on my checking. Check my app, no membership, check my bank account again and it definitely charged me. Email them about eight times, no response. This company is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

I would give zero stars if it was an option. Absolutely HORRIBLE delivery service! Do NOT USE! They cancel orders frequently after charging your card for it, and when they do decide to show up, its more than an hour later, when food is cold and/or soggy. I am not sure what is going on with this company, but they really need to get it together, or shut it down!

What a horrible customer service! There one job is food delivery yet they cannot seem to accomplish that! Per the restaurant I ordered from, this happens all they time. That restaurant is stopping there association with them. Use any other service!

Horrid service and delivery. Ordered for Chinese delivery in Falls Church area. Large order for company function. App indicated the delivery would be in 40 minutes. After an hour we contacted restaurant. They denied any knowledge of Postmates. Told us our order was ready but was waiting for pickup. We tried to contact Postmates with zero success. Order finally arrived after 1.5 hours. Unacceptable. Will never use Postmates again.

I believe it takes two in every situation. The delivery service as in Postmates and the vendor in this case Blaze Pizza both are responsible for getting food to you hot and an orderly manner that did not happen. Blaze Pizza would not refund my money, and said I had to go to Postmates because they were the delivery service even though I didn't go through Postmates I was on hold with Postmates for over an hour and my last 2 minutes, a recording came on and said my wait time is now another hour that kept happening I have yet to speak to them about a refund! Never go through Postmates! Never go through a restaurant that won't credit your account or offer to help in any way! Horrible
