Yet again I've been sucked into the postmates web. I keep saying I'll never order again and then do. They are terrible! Accidentally over tipped and when I say overtopped I mean it was a 120% tip! They wouldn't refund me. They also ripped me off with a gift card my gf sent me! Charged me what the total was PLUS an extra 5 for I don't know what on our order! They don't respond to your customer support emails until it's way too late and when they do they basically tell you nothing and hey can't help.
POSTMATES IS A CROOKED ROBBING CO THAT TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES LIKE DIRT! I HOPE YOU GO BANKRUPT AND CHOKE ON YOUR TEARS.

We placed an order with postmates and were told to expect delivery in about 40 minutes. 30 minutes later we received a text that the order "had to be cancelled". Reasons given were all blamed on the MERCHANT. However when contacting the merchant they indicated the order had never even been placed. We placed the order directly with them and drove to pick it up ourselves. Not the evening we had planned.

I have used a lot of delivery services and this is by far the worst. I went through the whole process of putting my order together and got a driver assigned and then got a text cancelling my order. So, I proceeded to choose another restaurant and again, went through the process of choosing me and my boyfriends order and AGAIN it was cancelled. What a waste of time. I deleted the app immediately

I placed an order today with Postmates in Columbus. I had used then in the past with no issues but today they took my order and gave me a delivery time. Later, they sent me a text saying the order was canceled because the merchant is temporarily not able to accept orders. This was completely untrue because I called the restaurant and the food was ready. Fortunately, Lavash Café has excellent customer service and they delivered the food for me. I had to pay more, but at least the class was able to have their lunch. I will never use postmates again. There is no way to reach customer service, and they are dishonest.

I have ordered with Postmates two times in total. First order was made half a year ago. It was fast and prompt although the service fees and delivery fees were charged on top of the tip. However after ordering with them today I can't recommend this company to anyone. I used it to get an expensive cut of beef and Pinot Noir for my brother's birthday. The company took my order, even sent a driver but never informed me or the recipient that the order was waiting for them. Supposedly the driver Ronnie C waited 5 minutes and then returned all items to the store. I was then told that I did not accept the order and that several attempts were made to contact me. This was of course a lie. Then I was charged $15 dollars for the time taken from the driver and the service fee. Right now I see two $30 charges on my credit card. Also note, they don't have a real live customer service.
Cheers. Calling my credit card to cancel the charge.

They brought food from a wrong Restsurant, charged me double and the food items were double charged. I will never again use this company. Wrote to them about my complaint. They never resolved it . They wrote back that they could not locate me as a customer. They charged your credit card any amount without your permission.

After ordering from Postmates the driver said he knocked on my door and ring my doorbell, waited five minutes, called, sent a text, which I heard none of and I was at my home because I ordered the food to be delivered there.
The driver left and took my food with him. I contacted Postmates through email "the only way you can contact them" and battled back-and-forth with a bunch of emails and they basically stated it's up to the drivers district discretion to leave the food at the front door of which I would've found two minutes later or take it back to the restaurant, postmates said in my case the driver returned the food to the restaurant. I called the restaurant, The food was never returned. Post mates refused to refund me any of the money, not even for my food Worst service ever!

They didn't honor my promo code and the food came cold. I would never recommend this to anyone. It's not worth the money. They didn't seem to care that the order was satisfactory. They don't know anything about customer service.

Do not use Postmates! They completely failed to deliver my order and instead brought me only a pastry. After 5 emails to their support team I got 5 different people and nobody seemed to be able to help me. They would not refund me for the delivery fee OR the items. Paid $22 for a pastry I could have gotten next door for $4.

Only use them if you're OK with wrong orders and no refund/paying for items and delivery that you don't actually get. Can't trust a company that doesn't care about not ripping off loyal customers.

What a rip off! Their app doesn't work correctly and the restaurants substitute items and charge you for both! They cancel orders without letting you know and worst of all you can't call and their customer service is a joke!

Stay away at all costs!

You have no way to contact Postmates customer service directly, their drivers are always stealing something from you order, when you contact them for support they take more than 48 hours and then tell you they won't refund you because it's been more than 48 hours. I use to love this thing because I am so stupidly lazy, but this is BS. Back to Uber Eats I go.

A Real Scam

Was excited to discover POSTMATES because they delivered from restaurants that other companies did not service. HORRIFIC EXPERIENCES!
* charged my account $30 holding fee plus actual amount of order. Took days to get a reversal.
* placed order for 3 each of 1 item from Walgreens which I had to type in. When order arrived, they had included a 6-pk of Ensure Protein Drink, which I certainly did not order. Delivery man would not take Ensure back nor would he give me a receipt from Walgreens. I am still fighting them on this thru unanswered, rude emails telling me that I should pay closer attention to my order.
* charged me a $15, cancellation fee for an order I actually received. Another long wait to get charge reversed.
Bottom line... this company should be reported to the BBB for its very questionable practices.

This is not a company or business, is the biggest modern scam and i dont know why Chipotle has them as one of the delivery methods. I wanted to change the room of the delivery within a second of purchasing, and they charged me 11 dollars. The customer service representative said over the email that next time i should pay more attention?
If you dont want to lose money, dont use this "company" Scammers big time.

I ordered a $50 breakfast from the breakfast club. When the food came, I had an empty sauce container like someone had eaten from it (just sitting on my food) the fruit looked like it was taken off of someone's plate with bite marks in it and my coffee cup was empty. After 5 back and forth emails, I was told sorry, we will refund your $1.60 never again with postmates. EVER

I love the burgers from Shake Shack, but alas, they don't deliver. So I was thrilled when I was able to place an order via Postmates. First, their delivery charge was outrageous over $13! Luckily, I had a promo code for free delivery. My food was delivered and I was so pleased I tipped him 40% of the subtotal. A success all around, right?

However, two days later I tried to order again only to get the message that now I am "Unable to complete checkout. It looks like this merchant is too far away from your address." I contacted customer service, which was rubbish. There was a lot of evasive answers and robotic replies, all ending with "Thank you for using Postmates." All they could say was the "delivery zones" have changed. I asked what zones as there were other restaurants even further away that were supposedly available. I live just a few clicks above 99th Street in NYC and this is a common problem. We are largely discriminated against when it comes to common services like getting food deliveries, as if we are no longer part of Manhattan. All they said was yep, they control the delivery zones and not the merchants so that confirmed their discriminatory practice.

I asked them to delete my account. Do not support this business. Trust me, your money is best spent elsewhere.

I spent 6 hours making bike deliveries, and do you know much I made? 30 miserable dollars busy Saturday in New York City but postmate Pay rate sucks. This is their method: drive to pick up the food sometimes 5 or 10 minutes, wait for the food around 20/30 minutes, and drop off the food like 20 minutes away, you spent 1 hour in 1 delivery and they just pay you 5 dollars. & by the way I think customers pay too much in the system and that's why they don't to tip us!

They consistently get your order wrong then refuse to replace or refund it. I just spent $18 on lunch that had to be thrown out as it was completely wrong and inedible and this is the second time this week this happened! I guess I finally learned from my mistake. Never ordering from them again. I contacted Meghan B. At support and she couldn't be less helpful. Horrible customer service.
