WORST SERVICE EVER

They sent me a confirmation of order and then a "ready to be picked up" confirmation (both email and text).When I got to the restaurant it was closed. I tried to get help with their "support" and I had the exact same conversation with two different "assistants" who basically gave me the equivalent of a virtual shrug. I spent an hour of my workday trying to get this worked out to make sure my credit card wasn't charged. NEVER AGAIN!

Order was delivered but missing a couple of items. I let customer support know and was told they couldn't refund the missing items but I could call the merchant or let the driver know. What? It's not my job to chase down a refund when I paid Postmates. Will never use them again. There are far too many other delivery services out there to settle for one that steals from you.

Nonexistent customer service

Always a very loyal to customer to Postmates and have used them often. When it's good it's good but when it's bad…it's the worst.

Waited an hour for a meal and when it showed that the food had been picked up and was on its way to me I got a message that the order had been cancelled and the restaurant was not taking orders. I tried to figure out what might have happened by using the in-app Help system, attempting to call the driver (no answer), and calling a number I found for customer support which is non-existent and the number does not work.

At this point I am hungry, I am definitely not cooking after waiting an hour for food and so I foolishly put another order into Postmates. This time a little 40% coupon pops up and I think how lucky I am that it will at least be cheaper this go-round. Check out and of course…no discount is given after I look at the receipt. Sigh.

I try all the same methods of communication with no luck and then finally find a way to contact "customer support" through the website and going in through the browser. The guy essentially just tells me he is sorry for any confusion and to have a good night

I am definitely confused now. If you can't tell me why the first one was cancelled at least make sure I get my coupon, mister. I ultimately told him thank you for caring and tried to remain calm and kind so as not to be mistaken for the dreaded "karen" but…Geez.

He said he would escalate it to the next tier via email and he logged out of the chat. I will say that I will be moving to Door Dash from now on ‍

Postmates policy sucks

I placed an order. The order was more than 1/2 Hr late and we i requested to cancel the order since it would be 1 hr from when I placed the order, they literally stated that I coul no longer cancel the order even if it was delayed 3 times bc the restaurant had already started order. Crazy

The service is terrible! I ordered pizza... it came late and COLD! I requested a refund a day

And they refused. Do not use this service. They will take your. Money with no compassion for the customer.Do not allow your family or friends to use this service!

Robbers!

Worst customer service. The app failed to make an order, displays error try again, on trying it makes 2 orders. Infact I didnt even use their app directly, and I was only placing an order from the google's order now button which took me to their damn stupid page
I called the restaurant, they said they understood it should be duplicate and will prepare one order only, but cannot cancel it and I should cancel it at my side.
1. There is no cancel button
2. Chat with postmates customer service, the lady says she needs to verify and call the restaurant. I reached the restaurant by then for the pickup
3. Postmates agent lady says she called restaurant and they prepared 2 orders
4. I am at the restaurant, they got no call, and i have one order ready in front of me and say the same to the agent, she keeps arguing that the restaurant made 2 orders and if I wish I can pick only one but they charge me for both. (one order's price was $50)
5. Argues for 10 mins that restaurant made 2 order without even checking with them and I could see all of this as I was right there.
WTH? POSTMATE fellows just quit your job and sit at home, are you being paid to lie and steal money? You **** Robbers

Broken system

Can you please add a customer service chat option at least. I just waited 2 hour for my food just to have it dropped off in the wrong location. So now I have to spend another $40 to order again. Thanks. Also I forgot to add priority delivery and I'm tired of waiting an hour or more for the food to leave to store to get to me. It's always cold and never right. Maybe you should add that to the edit options. I won't be using this again. At least doordash has a chat option. You guys literally suck.

Never receive my pizza!

I ordered pizza with postmates and never receive it! Wasted my time and gas to pick up my order that postmates never send to to the restaurant! Tried to call their customer service phone numbers but never work! Worst app ever! Don't use it! Just call the restaurant! The app charge the pizza extra $5 too!

Delivery Driver Stole My Food

Ordered my food with no problems. I was given 3 different delivery drivers & my ETA kept getting pushed back later and later. Reached out to Support and my issue was well documented. I was then compensated 20% of my total. Ultimately the restaurant cancelled my order. Reached out to Support again and it was noted that the 2nd delivery driver picked up my food, but it was never delivered to me. I will NEVER use Postmates again. I hope the delivery driver enjoyed his free meal on me! $#*!!

Postmates is awful, customer support is the worst. Canceled my order as soon as I accidentally purchased it (we bought at the wrong location by accident), was told I would have to wait for support to contact me. By the time they did, it had been ten minutes and my order had already been completed so I was told I would not get a refund for the order and on top of that I would be charged a cancelation fee. Absolutely atrocious service. Do not use this.

Horrible delivery service. Our food was minutes away from our place and they canceled our order without a refund. We tried contacting them to figure out why or arrange to pick it up instead, and they completely dismissed us. Never use this company, they are thieves.

The worst food delivery service I've used (and I've used all the main ones). Of the 7 orders I've tried making with them, only 4 actually ever made it to my house. The 3 times I've had to contact customer service, I wait for a representative, explain things to them and chat for a few minutes, and then they suddenly hit me with an, "I'm not equipped to handle this issue, our team will email you later," message, then end the chat before I can respond. Then they never actually follow up. They also make it very difficult to actually get to where you can speak to someone on the customer service chat.

Recently an order showed as delivered but hadn't actually arrived at the house. The app wouldn't let me contact the driver, so I contacted customer service within a couple minutes in hopes they could contact the driver and let her know she had just dropped it at the wrong house (and she could hopefully fix it). Instead, after 5 minutes of talking they hit me with the "we'll email you in a few hours," message, while my food sat at some random house somewhere.

They had an offer showing on the app that claimed you would get $15 off of your next 2 orders for signing up for their paid monthly service. I decided to try it and signed up, and only after subscribing did it mention that the offer was for "select restaurants." When I went to try to use it, there were absolutely 0 eligible restaurants so I didn't even get the offer.

Additionally, on the first order I made with them, I called a while after placing the order and the restaurant said Postmates had never even sent the order to them. All around bad experiences. Even if the other delivery services may have occasional issues, they typically make things right. Wouldn't recommend using Postmates ever.

Worst customer service EVER!

I placed an order with a promotional code. When I submitted it the code was not applied so I immediately cancelled it. They took my money and when I spoke to 3 different service reps they would not refund my money that was confirmed as cancelled. It was 1 minute but they said the restaurant already had my food ready. Complete crap and bullsh*t. Worst customer service EVER and I will never use their services, total scam of a company!

I had two horrible experiences with Post Mates. One, the most terrifying one, this guy kept insisting I go meet him in his car on a side road. He was very insistent, claiming there was no parking although I could clearly see there was. At the end I didn't and he left with my food and canceled the order. What happens is when order is canceled, Postmates doesn't allow a review. So this guy, who I have no idea what his intentions were, had glaring reviews on the site. Because myself and anyone else who he has canceled the order, aren't allowed to leave reviews. Today a woman are plan and simple too lazy to park and claimed the construction that was happening inside the residents garage (that she wouldn't have access to anyway) was not allowing her to park on the 7 streets in front of my building where there's always parking. Again, I'm not able to leave her a review and she has 5 stars. I asked specifcally to leave a review and they say i can't unless the order is successful. That doesn't seem legal!

The driver delivered my sushi order and left it at the front door, per my instruction. However, I did not receive a single notice from the driver, uber, nor postmates that the order was delivered. When I use grubhub, I get a notice when the order is ready, when it's picked up, when it's on its way, and when it's delivered. Postmates, however, did not send a single notice so I had NO IDEA the food (raw fish) was sitting outside for an hour in an 85 degree summer heat. Obviously the food was not edible and contacted postmates/uber. They responded several hours later stating they will not refund the order since I instructed them to leave at front door. The only reason I tried postmates is because they were offering a promo but their delivery fees are so high, I ultimately did not get any discount. I will stick to Grubhub in the future. Postmates/Uber is a joke. Horrible company followed by horrible customer support.
