I will NEVER order from Postmates again! They failed to pick up my order. And they are REFUSING to refund my money, claiming the restaurant should do it- even though it wasn't the restaurant's fault.

My $39.07 included a delivery fee and a tip for the Postmates driver that NEVER PICKED UP MY ORDER. Postmates is STRAIGHT UP stealing from me by refusing to refund my money!

Use DoorDash, UberEats, GrubHub- ANYONE BUT POSTMATES!

They are incompetent, scamming thieves!

Horrible App
October 15, 2020

The app cancelled my order. I went in to pick up my order, only for the restaurant to tell me it was not ready because the order was cancelled immediately after being submitted. My app on my phone showed "ready for pick up" I waited to see if it would go through. The restaurant was busy at the time. About 30-35 minutes later, the restaurants traffic slowed down. The manager at the restaurant said here I'll check my iPad again. He looked and it showed my order was cancelled. He said he would put together my order, but I would have to pay with my debit card. I agreed, figuring Postmates would refund my $47 since their app caused the problem. I paid for my food, waited another 20 minutes to get the food. I used the app to request a refund. They sent back a generic, "we cannot refund your $$ because we have to pay the restaurant who prepared your food for delivery" I emailed them back stating that had not happened because it was a pick up order and the restaurant said it never filled my order" Postmates sent another generic email, saying "glad we could help" but that they wouldn't refund my $$ because it had been past 5 days now. I paid TWICE for my family's meal and spent over an hour waiting for something supposed to be quick & convenient on my way home from work. Worst food app and the associates do not care to actually read your concerns. Do not use this app unless you want to pay them for nothing

If I could give a ZERO star rating, I would. I have a total of 7 orders with them. The first order was perfect, the driver got to the restaurant before the order was ready, and was delivered to my house so fast it was like I was eating it at the restaurant. Then I had the second order which was fine, no issues. Order 3 was terrible, as I got the notification that the food was delivered, but when I opened my door, there was nothing there (also verified that there was no activity on my home security system) - refund given. Order 4 was fine, no issues. Order 5 was from a restaurant that was 5 minutes away but took over 20 minutes to arrive and since the order happened to be frozen treats, after the 20 minute joyride, when it finally arrived it was all liquid - completely melted - refund given. Order 6 was from the same place that order 1 came from, but this time the driver took forever to arrive at the restaurant, and I assume that the food was waiting there a while because when it finally arrived it was cold - it totally sucked, and was the driver's fault, but I didn't even bother complaining. Order 7 was an office order for work. Of the 5 orders, 2 were completely incorrect (one with an allergy issue), and one order was completely missing. I reported a problem and they responded that due to my account history, no refund would be issued. I responded that the previous issues were their fault and were absolutely legitimate, and this was ALSO their fault. I sent photos of the receipt, and the food and order tags which showed that things were absolutely wrong... NO REFUND GIVEN.

A couple suggestions, when food is delivered, they should have the driver take a photo of where they delivered to - so they can prove where it went to when the customer doesn't receive it. Also, they need to value their customers a lot more, and they need to own their mistakes. They are in food service and ultimately if it's not right, they need to make it right - we pay a lot to use the service, and IT NEEDS TO BE RIGHT.

NEVER DELIVERED MY ORDER

SCAM ALERT!
BEWARE OF THIS POORLY RUN SCAM. MY ORDER THAT I PAID $40 FOR WAS NEVER DELIVERED! EVENTUALLY AFTER PULLING TEETH FOUND A WAY TO CONTACT THIS INEPT COMPANY AND THROUGH CONFUSING DIRECTIVES ISSUED BY POSTMATES FINALL REFUNDED ME ONLY $36 OF THE $40 THEY SCAMMED FROM ME. THEY CLAIM THAT THE OTHER $4 WAS GIVEN TO THE SUSPICIOUS DRIVER AS A TIP FOR A JOB WELL DONE AND THAT MONEY CANNOT BE RETRIEVED! WTF?
LOOKS LIKE QUITE A SCAM. JUST THINK THAT WHEN THEY DO THIS TO EVERY ORDER OR EVEN EVERY OTHER ORDER HOW MUCH MONEY THEY ARE SCAMMING FROM UNSUSPECTING INDIVIDUALS!

I was informed my oder was delivered. Go to my door and to my surprise there is no food at my door. Call Postmates customer service and was told they were going to refund my money $41.37 by the way. I was told they're not able to refund the tip I paid to the driver who delivered my food evidently to someone else's house who is now eating for free but I paid for that for that food to be delivered to them

Horrible - customer service. I received texts ( after 2 hours) delivery would be arriving soon ( restaurant is less than 5 miles away). Kept phone glued to me; next update stated food was delivered. Tried calling and texting the number where they communicated with me - not available! So almost 3 hours later; no food; no call back and out 20.00. Oh interestingly enough - I did get asked how much did I want to tip... fast forward - next day - have not heard back yet and the charge is still on my bank account. They need a live person to answer when your delivery is en route and you have already been charged!

Signed up for Postmates and within a few hours got a 50% off my next order code, so in a couple days ordered food but no discount. Wrote customer service and they come up with several excuses on why I didn't get the discount. Of course it was always my fault. They won't have to worry about me ever using their service again.

POSTMATES IS A SCAM

Postmates has been scamming me for a year now. I used to have unlimited and canceled it. However they persisted to charge me monthly for the last year. I have been trying again and again to stop them from charging me and getting a refund. But they keep lying to me saying I have unlimited even though I have evidence on my app and all my orders that I do not have unlimited. They are scammers and will take your money. NEVER sign up for unlimited.

Postmates is very flexible but they need to design an app that makes more sense than people traveling 30+ minutes to pick up an order in which they will only receive $5. Also they need to increase their incentives so that more drivers would want to work for them. Maybe more bonuses or promos..

I live in Miami in a 50 story building that is not hard to find. Paid for sushi dinner - they delivered to the wrong address and I never got my food. I complained and got automated messages saying they were sorry "I was not happy with my order". Was unable to speak to a human - and they refused to give a refund. I think its fraud to deliver food to the wrong address and charge me for it - simply fraud. I canceled my account - never got an apology, never got the food, never got a refund. It is not how you treat customers - i had used Postmates many times before and was a satisfied customer - but I was shocked how poorly they treated me and will never use them again.

You are a $#*!ing low life if you dont tip your driver... It is exactly the same as tipping from a chinease restaurant or pizza delivery... your $#*!ing pizza delivery driver gets 12$ an hour us tips... your postmates driver is luckey to get $3.00 to deliver... We get zero for driving to the restaurant, and zero for getting back from your house... people $#*!ing suck... Seriously if your you dont tip, $#*!ing dont use the godammed service... Driver dont steal your food, the app locks up, drops orders, the app leads you to the wrong address. Everything about postmates is horrible

Sneaky Postmates

I pulled up my local restaurant on my phone to order ahead for pick up. The order to pick up link took me to a Postmates website although there was no indication. I walked over to pick up my food. The bill from the restaurant was $36 but my credit card was charged $46. I called the restaurant to see if any of the $11 went to them. They said no and it keeps happening to their customers. Postmates should be ashamed, number one for not making it clear the order is going through Postmates and number 2 for charging people for their own pick up! Horrible business!

Freaking terrible

I have ordered from postmates twice and each time they messed up my order. The first time ordered subway, they forgot all of the toppings even tomatoes. My second order which was today because i was starving and couldnt leave work, was from chic-fil-a. My food was really cold and to top it off my sandwich was missing the pepper jack cheese and extra pickles they didnt even get me pickles. I AM NEVER USING POSTMATES AGAIN BECAUSE THIS IS FREAKING TERRIBLE.

I love these guys!

I was starving! I just got into town on biz in LA and got lucky and found my fave restaurant " jussepie's from back home in NY. My guy Randy Z texted me when got there. Even said it smelled so good he wanted to open up the order but said he put it in his truck so he wouldn't be tempted! I cracked up! When he got to my Hotel he had this really awesome dog in his convertible that greeted me with affection! He opened the trunk, I got my food and he said " enjoy, it's a pleasure! Will definitely recommend and order again!

I order food from them 2 years ago. Since then, I have received 3 fraudulent charges in connection with the company on three different cards - two of which were not even on their app. The latest charge happened when I redownloaded the app, had the verification code AUTOMATICALLY input into the lines, and then I immediately received a notification email through my credit card saying I have $136 charge from a telecom company in Abu Dhabi. Wow, seriously?

I contact Postmates and let them know that there is a great possibility that they have a gap in their app security, and they assured me that this is not possible. Three different times, and you arent willing to check? I have reported them to the FTC, and if this happening/has happened to you, I would report them too. The more times it happens the more likely the FTC will look into it.

Reading the reviews, they are a scam company through and through, and it goes way beyond just food service. Lets take them down.

Stole my money

I ordered four orders of taquitos, which contain two taquitos each. Of those four orders, I received two of my orders. When I contacted Postmates to let them know what happened, they gave me a $. 13 refund. When I disputed that and informed them that I never received half of my my order, And by not returning my money, they were stealing from me, I received another email stating that they would still not return my money. I'm not sure how a business cannot return my money when I did not receive my items. I canceled my monthly membership, delete the app, and promised that I would share my story with everyone that I could to let them know to stay far away from this company. I can only hope that one day they will go out of business, and maybe then they will have learned their lesson.

Kept changing driver and said they were waiting on restaurant the better part of hour. They changed out drivers while waiting. Zaxbys stated they had no one waiting
