On Sunday December 6th, my daughter ordered food through the Postmates app, about 20 minutes after the order was placed the driver called my phone and stated " The manager says the menu has been updated and they no longer carry this item. Unfortunately, the menu has yet to be changed on the Postmates website. Would you like to cancel the order?" Of course we canceled the order, they didn't have the food she wanted. So imagine my surprise when I saw that they still took payment from my account. Upon contacting customer service, I was told " all service and delivery fees were waived ", obviously because I have a plan that already waves these fees, they didn't do any special favors for me. The order place was over $12, this crooked company refuses to refund my money even though the issue is directly with their own website! I am entitled to a full refund and I will be canceling this service.
On December 1st, a rep placed an order for my office at 10:45 from Red Orchids. It was supposed to be picked up and delivered at noon. At 12:30 we called the restaurant to find out where our food was. They said it had not been picked up yet. I went there and asked just give me the food since the rep had already given a cc. They would not give me food. I said cancel it because we start back at 1. As I left the restaurant the driver showed up. Again, I said cancel it and drove off. The driver delivered the food and was EXTREMELY RUDE! I will never blame the restaurant because they did their part but never use Post Mate.
I order from postmates a lot but the continue to be either super late the cancel on you. I have tired talking to someone but they don't care. Also my leasing center is closed and I give specific directions and they still don't give. Also I cancelled the membership and still was charged. You guys need to step it up
I ordered a meal worth less than $30 through Postmates. My delivery driver called a moment later to tell me the restaurant is already closed and I need to cancel my order through the app. Okay, no problem, stuff happens. So I went to cancel my order, and in order to do so, I have to agree to pay the full amount of the order because it's "already being processed." I checked my bank account - sure enough, they took the money out, but before taking out the cost of the meal, they charged me $43.02 - which is WAY more than the meal I ordered. Which means they ended up charging me over SEVENTY DOLLARS for a meal I didn't receive that cost less than 30. I've been given a refund of the actual cost of the meal, but still have not received my $43.02 back. They say it should be reversed in a day or two; I maintain it never should have left my account in the first place. No company had a right to just take as much money out of my bank account as they want, that is called theft. Do not order from Postmates, they will steal from you, potentially overdraft your account, and have zero remorse about it. I hope this company gets the crap sued out of them, they ABSOLUTELY deserve it.
Do not use this service. We have order many times and for the most part we have to literally meet people outside because they are too lazy to bring it to the door. So today we ordered and I guess the girl Danielle couldnt read numbers because she gave our order to another apartment instead of verifying and calling us. all we got from postmates is our apologies no lets make it better and we can take another order and free delivery. So to them they can stick that apology where the sun dont shine.
I waited outside for 30 minutes for my order NEVER CAME then I tried calling customer support and "There are no reps. To help please call back at a later time" So I didn't receive my food and I am getting charge FULL price for my order and no customer help. I will not order from this place again.
I went to order delivery on postmates. When I got to the checkout, it asked me to choose pickup or delivery. When I clicked delivery it selected and confirmed for pickup instead. I tried to change it but it said that I would have to pay a fee to cancel my order, even though it was the site that made a mistake, not me. I ordered delivery because I not have time to go to the restaurant- I can not pick up this order and do not want to waste the $50+ I spent on this food. Additionally, the Help Center was very unhelpful and offered no costumer service beyond saying that I could not change my order in any way and would have to pay a fee to cancel and than re-submit the order. I usually never write reviews but I am very disappointed in the costumer service and in Postmates
They wouldn't refund me a $5.99 delivery charge after a mix up and I tried explaining it to them multiple times and they just didn't care. I love ordering food but I will never use postmates again!
This was the worst ever. I ordered from the app. But it wouldnt let me. I do have a new phone but it wouldn't accept the change on my account so I called support. It was like an hour of wasted time. The guy said i had to put my card in again then walked me through the steps, asked me to enter my new phone number he was going to make sure to contact the pizza place to expedite my order and I carried on to input my number and there was a click. I thought he helped me. Heck no, an hour for 1 pizza and the jerk just hung up. This is how postmates treats people? And there was no order when I called. So, I went to Grubhub. 30 minutes later, voila! Grandkids were excited! Do not use Postmates!
I stopped using them after seeing a delivery person (2) in their car siting on their phone. My pizza was cold.
I placed an ordered. I waited an hour for it to be delivered. When my order was ten minutes late I received an email that the restaurant needed more time... I ordered from KFC! Then five minutes later I got a notification that my ordered was canceled due to them not having a driver in the area. Why did they take my order then and make me wait an hour and a half? So then I got an email that they would put a credit of my account for the inconvenience. Less then a week later I went to use said credit and no credit is there. I emailed Postmates and was told that my credit had expired and they can not we place the credit. I explained to them that in the email it said I would have a credit for my next order it didn't say it would expire. And again this is less then a week later. I ordered through another service that same night and had my meal is under 40 mins. This company is a joke. I will NEVER use them after this BS credit issue.
My mom decided she wanted Taco Bell for dinner, so we ordered it from Postmates. It's not uncommon for your order to messed up, like leaving something out, and that happened. Now, that's not why I give it a two-star rating. My mom asked for a refund, and they gave her TWO CENTS. That's rude and dismissive. They also didn't ring the doorbell, so we waited downstairs for, like, 20 minutes. The person who delivered it left it on the edge of our porch. The edge. I'm giving it two stars to be generous. We will not be ordering from Postmates for awhile, thank you.
Over priced and zero customer service. When they mess up a 80 dollar order they will give you a 5 dollar credit even when I email pictures as proof. They need to hire customer service reps.
I order through this company last Saturday. They overcharged my card, the order was incomplete and instead refund me for the value of the missing items they gave me less than that. I would love to have less the one star for these guys. Terrible service and I feel like they just stole my money.
I paid 30 dollars for and order that the inept driver who apparently doesn't know how to follow a gos left at a completely different address! And they resolve it all with giving you a credit meanwhile my family is starving at home with no food! Definitely canceling my subscription, this is not the first time it's happened. If anyone is reading this DO NOT BECOME A POSTMATE MEMEBER! You will regret it! Ohh and there's no ohone number you can call to place a complaint, apparently they know their lines would be fluded with calls.
A Total scam, with false promotions. Takes 3 DAYS to PROCESS ORDERS. Service fees are sure to make no differences to your supposed "discount". And, they add secret prices. They placed a 3 day, $55.00 hold on my credit card, then overcharged me on the total. For example, 2 items@ $36.26 + $7.61 service fee = $43.87 - $5.00 promo = $38.87. I was charged $39.65?! That's a $0.78 overcharge.
I placed an order THREE HOURS ago. The restaurant said the food was ready 30 minutes after I ordered. My card has been charged, yet here I sit without any food. The policy clearly states that if I cancel my order, I will still be charged. At this point, now I know how this company makes their money. You charge customers for a product they will never receive, and after they wait several hours and cancel their order, you get your money and we get absolutely nothing. This business needs to be shut down.
Worst delivery service ever they either get the order wrong or don't deliver it to the right address. Don't bother wasting your time and money of this company. Go through another delivery service. Sick of having to get refunds and not getting what I asked for.
I stopped ordering through this app a while back because something would always be wrong. Most drivers take their time with getting your food to you. Other times the driver will deliver it to the wrong address and won't communicate with you in order to get your food. Postmates will not give ua refund they will give you a credit to the app which is not helpful especially if you are not planning on using the app again. Stay away from this company

Total cost of the order was 24$ and Postmates charged me tips for extra 70$ for this order by mistake
And then took one more transaction from my card for 65,77$. Customer service answer, that they are not able to help, because tips go straight to the Postmates driver. They did nothing to help!
Never gonna use them! Again! What a fraud! 150 $ total for water! Insane
Answer: I got charged twice instead of once. For my delivery now that they made a mistake and didn't take care of it I'll never use postmate ever again
Answer: They Don't answer you back until after 5 days so that they can say "Unfortunately we will not give you your money back because we only issues refunds if the claim is made in a timely manner" horrible company
Answer: Their app has all type of glitches and issues they did the very same to me I didn't even sign up for their free trial but I am now having to dispute a charge of 95.88 on my account. I was charged for orders I never got and also I reached out to them multiple times never got anything back. They actually put on the app that the order was resolved when I have never spoken to them this company is a fraud and I do not know why they are still in business! I'd say remove your card information.
