After returned from deployment overseas I was able to open a package from Pokemon center. They sent me a booster box that was completely beat up. Once I started going through the box every pack was bent and curved. There was even a single card pack in there! I contact customer service and they say the curve is from water weather and there's nothing they can do… weather! What?! I've never had cards like these, and from weather come on. They quickly close my ticket and don't even mention the single card pack. Be careful of their absolute terrible customer service. They don't care about you, just the money. I'll never purchase from them again
Bought a 36 booster pack box. Get a charzard v with horrible black marks from printing and scratches on the back straight out of the pack. And 2 other v cards with he same black marks. I contact them to see if I could just get 3 brilliant star packs since I got 3 out of the 36 with messed up cards and provide them with all info they ask for, and they tell me they can't prove I'm the owner of the order. Never buying from them again.
Ordered christmas gift on the 12th of December. Hasn't shipped in over 10 days and still hasn't! Contacted customer support so many times asking for a update. They said "we aren't sure will send asap".
Its the 22nd and I'm like ok can you like expedite it so it can be here by Christmas because they advertised that if you ordered by the 17th the order would be there by Christmas.
They said nope we can't expedite or do anything for you and you just have to wait when we decide to send it…
They closed the ticket on me before helping at all and my Christmas is ruined because this was their main gift for someone. Absolute joke. Never ordering from them again.
Be incredibly careful. They offer bonus free items when making purchases, but then cancel the free item while shipping the order itself. When attempting to return items customer service has been condescending and useless, stating items are all final sale. This is downright bait and switch, which is illegal in the states.
Imagine having the most exclusive desired products from a multi billion dollar company and the site runs as horribly as it does. You get blocked when refreshing the page because it keeps crashing then you can't get ANY product due to the complete lack of competence on their end. Don't bother with these clowns
Ordered a Special Delivery Charizard and let me tell you, I've seen cleaner vintage cards that have been stored in a lunch box for 20 years. The thing was just thrown into the box with no protection along with everything else. It was bent, scratched and every edge was damaged and their QC must have been blind because the centering was shocking. When I contacted the support team they said I would need to return it at my own cost before they could send a replacement. I had a friend that dealt with the UK store with the same issue and they gave him another code without question and even offered a discount off his next order. I suppose the US team just have something against Irish customers. I will never deal with Pokemon US again and I would advise everyone else against it too if you want nothing but trouble.
Tried using a special zard promo. Failed to process my payment. Support told me to wait a week and try again. Same result and they simply said they cannot help me. $#*!ing horrible. 1/10 wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Japanese Pokémon is light years better anyway…
I got stuff from them 3 or 4 times, usually booster boxes or 3 pack blisters. The booster boxes & other stuff got damaged every time I got them due to improper packaging & the product had way too much space in the box to bounce around in. All they had to do was put extra bubble wrap or use a more fitting box to ship in. They can care less if you happen to be a collector & want ur product in good shape.
Ordered a product as a gift and the box came tampered with and the most important items missing. They gave me a refund but they were not able to send me what I originally ordered. This was the shipper or someone in the stock room as the box was ripped open and resealed with tape. Shipper not identified.
I had 2 items, in my order of 14 items, that were damaged. Customer service told me that I should expect items to be damaged in shipping. But they were clearly shipped already in poor condition. Very untrustworthy site!
Ordered some of their Halloween items for decoration. The Eevee was actually packed wtih styrofoam and shipped well. The Mimikyu bowl however was packaged horribly. The packaging itself was only the start of the problem. The box has a CERAMIC bowl in a plastic bag and a flimsy cardboard insert to hold it in place. Nothing to actually protect the extremely fragile parts, like the ears. I legit recieved the bowl split down the sides, and both of the ears off (as picutred below). The box was inside a packing box with just air bags, and not even enough to keep it from wiggling around. The icing on the cake was contacting customer service and basically getting a whole "oh, well, too bad, so sad. Send it back, we will take forever to process it and get you a refund." Also, even when I mentioned the packaging they had that generic 'we will report your concerns to the proper department." it was so cut and paste, it didn't feel like talking to a real person. I plan on leaving a review on the product itself when they actually send me the link to be able to do so.
I should have believed the reviews on the product, but the newer ones seemed to see some improvement on packaging, so I was wrongly hopeful :/

Honestly a terrible experience from start to finish. Made a purchase of a promo card box. It was of pikachu and it came with four separate cards that make up the full image of a giant card. Was so excited then it arrived, opened the box and all the cards and then noticed that one of the four was a duplicate. Emailed the customer service team and my god they are just awful. I have been told I need to pack all the cards up and place them into the original box. I asked if they could just send me one card and I was told no. They then preceeded to tell me the original cards from the box need to go back and that if it is not in the original packaging I will have to pay a restocking fee. I genuinely told them that I had opened 70 packets that weekend and how was I going to find the right cards and they told me that is the only way I can get my money back as they do not do exchanges. Please for the love of God buy your cards or pokemon items elsewhere. It is the worst customer service i have ever dealt with and they just do not care about you. I have spent hundred of pounds since the store opened in the UK and spent even more from the US store shipping it here, pop up shops and other purchases through general retailers and this has honestly annoyed me and upset me that I am writing this review.
I wouldn't even give them one star! I ordered a Special Delivery Charizard and it came indented and packaged terrible and I sent video and picture proof and they will not replace it. I will never ever buy anything from this POS company again!
My $#*!, fix your god damn website, not just me is everyone have the same issue. Pokemon center just want to do is keep selling $#*! but wont fix their god damn website! Pokemon center is the only website i couldn't purchase anything! Is a joke! Read some review please or they just dont care! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE. Keep telling me to disabling ad blocker, vpn and private browsing. USELESS!
I ordered Brilliant Stars sleeves and packs of 36 boosters at the Pokémon Center, a total of 88 boosters came out. Having opened all the boosters, I didn't get a single card more expensive than $5. I also had boosters bought in Target and I began to visually compare the boosters from Target with boosters from the Pokemon Center (In the Photo, I fixed the booster from the left - Pokemon Center, the booster from the right - Target) CONCLUSION...
Boosters from the Pokémon Center are of low quality and look like a fake in which = it will never wake up rare and expensive cards, even if you open 10 thousand boosters. I made a claim and sent it to the pokemon center (in the claim I attached all the photos of the boosters with the question - Why do they look like a fake?! They didn't give an answer and they don't accept the return of boosters)
Bottom line - dubious boosters will be sold to you at the Pokemon Center and you won't be able to return them, the Pokemon Center itself with cards is engaged in fraud. If you want to find a rare card, buy boosters only in Target (they are real there and rare and expensive cards always come across in them) I also ordered Pokemon boosters at GameStop, they also sent me resealed boosters that looked like a fake. Then Walmart, there is a mix of original boosters and resealed ones. At the moment, only Target sells normal boosters, not fake and not resealed. Be careful and do not buy dubious boosters, I also do not recommend buying cards at GameStop, Walmart, Pokemon Center.
This is the same company that made black face. They create Reshiram and Zekrom which end up looking much like Ku Klux Klan uniforms and the image they make in game is not appropriate for their target audience. From Zekrom's N azi color eyes to Reshiram burning like a cross. The stripes and placement of colors on the Ku Klux Klan robes match the designs of both Reshiram and the Nighthawks match Zekrom. There are many other designs that should have gotten revised because of them containing sensitive content. The Pokémon Company is the worst when it comes to keeping their hands clean. This is a kids game and not some game for sensitive content used for humor.
Took countless tried to get preorders in and when its time for shipping, payment couldn't go through. Contacted support and they are absolutely useless. All they do is copy and paste standard replies telling me to wait or to try another card when the issues lies with their website. Support starts ignoring me after sending me standard replies. They just drag till my preorder got cancelled due to non payment and close the case. Trash team trash platform.
Recieved a box full of half opened boosters, contacted them and they did nothing to resolve this issue. Please save your money and go else where.
I've seen alot of bad reviews on this site mainly regarding their poor customer service and lack of response to customers. I recently reached out to them about an issue regarding my account, and at first they seemed surprizingly helpful and supportive compared to the previous times I reached out to them. However, my issue with the company is that I believe they may be kleptophobic or engage in kleptophobic business practices.
I have attached an image of the final email given to me regarding the suspension/ban of my account. The text at the top of the image was my response to agent Heart's message (they still haven't responded). The other image attached to this review is text taken from their terms of use and I underlined the part that reveal's the company's kleptophobic nature.
Kleptophobia is NOT okay nor tolerable. We need to put an end to kleptophobia and other forms of discrimination against thieves. The Pokemon Company should be ashamed of themselves for their discrimination and prejudice towards their fans and customers.
Answer: It's so not a scam. I've always gotten my products. Whenever there's an issue, it has something to do with USPS.
