Handles promotional releases badly, customer service is beyond bad, I can't stress this enough customer service is BEYOND bad, they will mess up your order out of incompetence and then not allow you anyway to rectify and won't allow returns/refunds.

I wished this place could operate like a real business where they were held to a standard and would honor what they should. They control the market by allowing bots and programs to purchase items over real people.
So I joined the party and woot my bot has paid off big time. Since you will not use simple and proven tactics to let real families and people purchase items over scalpers I said let's join the eBay club. KISS it PC employees.
For one, they ship through fed ex...they ship collectables...through fed ex...so deliveries are either missed or smashed.
Two, idk how this always happens but when the launch a promotion, no matter how early you are, how fast your internet is or if u have friends helping you, you will ALWAYS get off checked and booted off the server. If you manage to have an order go through, they often will reimburse you. Suddenly you will see ebay flooded with what shouldve been free promotional cards and products for 100s of dollars.
The worlds biggest multimedia franchise and they have the website software of a start up company running off windows 98. It somehow seems fixed? Idk why it would be, it makes no sense how. But its insanely ridiculous
They have no idea how to handle drops. They always end up overselling their stock and having to cancel orders.
As someone who's designed and run divers if online stores; I've never seen one with both the technology and strategy designed in such a way that lets poachers totally run through all stock! You've effectively encouraged Pokémon to be a target for max profit and killed the potential joy for millions of children and fans!
I had an issue with Pokemon Home where during a transfer the process failed and sent me back to title screen. When I went to try again specifically a shiny Zamazenta recieved by serial code from a Gamestop event had been erased and was indicated by a code generated in the error history as 2-ALZTA-0006,0005,0008. I am not going to just do the rate 1 star because I am dissatisfied with the result and am "angry" review, but rather will give them a 1 star for the reasons to follow:
Response Time - it took a little longer than a week for them to reply to my first email and the follow up both times which indicates to me they do not take the matter seriously. As a customer service team this just is poor. They replied back the next day after the third email once I indicated the prolonged response times (so I guess calling them out is the key).
I sent them error codes along with the issue description and was then told they did not see any issues despite the fact I had pulled up the error log history on my switch and it indicated the exact opposite and was shared with them.
The biggest issue causing me to be the "disgruntled" customer is that it was summed up to me being a liar regarding a shiny Zamazenta as they stated I never had one even though I have the code that was scratched off and sent over WhatsApp by a friend who drove to the Gamestop for me since I am overseas...
All I was trying to do was get assistance in recovering the data if possible or at the very least send a simple code as if they didn't create a plethora of them to begin with, but instead the story made short is I never had one to begin with.
Well hopefully better results and fortunes come to anyone else who may come across this.
I learned about this site literally today. Anytime I find a new website I want to buy from I always take a look at things and open up various tabs and stuff that interest me, and then save the items I enjoy into a "want" folder of saved links, so that I can easily find what I want when I have some extra spending money.
Less than 20 minutes into looking at the side I get blocked for " browsing and clicking at a speed much faster than expected of a human being." because I have multiple tabs open and I'm not looking at stuff for as long as they deem necessary I was abruptly told I'm a bot and blocked from the website. I when looking for solutions and from forums and other old sites, this has been an issue that the website has had for YEARS.
Not only did they not help me with the problem, but they completely avoided it by just sending my different links to other services. Which had nothing to do with the game I was playing. If i could give 0 stars i would.
I've ordered many times, and each time was fast delivery and a happy me. First time having an issue so I contacted support believing it would be no problem at all to get the item exchanged somehow. Chat took forever and I was denied any help because the defect was up to their standards (threads unraveling?). I explained further and a new agent responded very condisendingly that they no more help for me and that they are closing my case...
I can't even get in touch with support again to ask if I'm able to return it so I can order a new and hopefully not a defective one again.
I'm very disappointed and sadly will not be buying from them again they do not care about their customers and they do not have their backs. They'll rudely tell you that too.
I bought a bunch of Day with Funko's for my daughters. They packed horribly and when we got 5 were smashed. They asked for pictures I sent a slew of them. They then told me packaging does not matter as that is only to protect item during shipping.
They said I could Return and repurchase. I asked if I did if it would come in crap packaging. They responded saying if I continued to abuse staff and using profanities they would block me which would keep me from getting help. The only word I used that maybe could be considered a profanity is crap...
Just order a charizard elite box it arrived today every single card was bent I can shove a penny or nickel under it how bent it was try support they cannot refund or replace the item or items DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. The sad part is my kids saved bottles for 2 months to buy it on their own just to be saddened by the condition they were in
Their website blocked me for clicking too fast when I was just trying to order lots of cards out of excitement.
I was a fan of Pokemon but when I heard about changing Ash and the other Pokemon's and then I was very angry then I tore my Ash Ketchum Pokemon card
January 2023 - daughter saved up to purchase a $40 Jolteon plush, when it arrived it arrived damaged. We immediately reached out to get a replacement. It's now March & we haven't received a replacement. I attempted to speak with a representative via chat & was told that I had to email from the email it was order with. Why? I have an order # & a receipt. Customer service rep refused to even speak to me. I wil never order from this shady biz again. Be warned.
One of the item I ordered was damaged (I paid for shipping also). I contacted customer service and provided them with all the details and pictures, at first they didn't want to do anything. When I threatened to have my credit card provider cancel the transaction, they suggested a 10% promo code but for more pictures of the other non related items, they managed to find a way to avoid honoring legal minimum warranty. I will not buy anything from them again and I do not recommend buying from them.
I've purchased multiple products from this site and not a single booster pack contained a hit. Pokemon Center only puts boosters with green code cards in their Elite Trainer Boxes, Collection Boxes, and Tins. It is not statistically possible to get an elite trainer box, which usually has 8-10 boosters and not get a single hit. It is also not statistically possible to buy multiple elite trainer boxes and not get a single in all of them. 40 packs and 0 hits. That is not a statistical anomaly. You will have better pulls / hits buying an ETB from a greasy Walmart scalper. At least those Walmart ETBs actually have a chance of getting a hit. Again 40 boosters, all with green code cards and no hits is NOT an anomaly.
We placed two boxes of pokemon cards on preorder. We waiting a month snd it didn't arrive when it was supposed to. The tracking information wasn't telling us anything. When we reached out to them, they said we needed to wait two weeks before they can help us. Two weeks of tracking not being updated, we reached out again and they said it looks like the package was lost during transit. They said they couldn't do anything about it and it was out of stock now. How can they handle a situation in this manner? This company is an absolute scam and incredibly unprofessional.
Awful site and awful customer service. If I could, I'd give 0 stars. I have been trying to order anything for months and constantly get a pop-up saying my order can't go through. Customer service said I violated terms and conditions, which is impossible since I tried making a brand new account, and still received the message. Customer service has been no help at all and does not even the bare minimum.
Answer: It's so not a scam. I've always gotten my products. Whenever there's an issue, it has something to do with USPS.
