Absolute garbage of a website, one tries to make purchases and it doesnt even let you. Then you contact customer support and they reply with an automatic message and has no help at all. "Just use another card", mate there is nothing wrong with my card, I used every day to make transactions. How do they even have a budget to hire people, how can they make a profit if there is bad at selling products? They should seriously consider taking the web page down.
Blocks people for being "robots" and also you can find the products cheaper elsewhere. Save your money and go someplace else for your pokemon needs.
I purchased an item that was clearly advertised as a certain size (11.5 inches) - this was actually included in the title AND the description. When it arrived, it was miniature - 6" x 5" x 4". When I contacted this company thinking they had accidentally sent the wrong thing, their answer what that it could be measured in different angles and that's the only one they sell. Even if you are measuring the tag attached on this thing, it is nowhere near 11.5 inches. Be very cautious dealing with this company. I truly wish I had read the ratings before purchasing and I hope this saves someone else the hassle.

Their checkout process is just so inflexible that always drive me crazy when try to make a purchase. Avoid this website as you can, shop from amazon.co.jp is your best option.
Used PokemonCenter for the first time to pre-order the Marnie Nendoroid in March 2021. Site said they would ship in November 2021. By the end of November I never received shipping confirmation, reached out wondering if delay was due to Covid. All I have been told for almost two months since is "we're looking into the issue". Have gotten different agents each time, each saying they'll reach out. They never reach out. I always had to email first.
If I don't receive anything by the end of February 2022, I will just order elsewhere (unfortunately they just cost more on other sites) and cancel it. The Marnie Nendo has been out since August.
I also in good faith pre-ordered Legends: Arceus because I wanted the Arceus plush bonus gift. Alas, delayed so didn't receive it for release day. Have not received shipping confirmation for it either. Will wait and see on that I guess.
TL; DR
If you want something as a pre-order and on time; try to get it elsewhere. PokemonCenter will let you down. It will not be on time if you get it at all.

They're awful. They are consistently complained about by people and reviewers for their delayed releases and stay using the same services. They do not care about you whatsoever. I preordered Arceus on Dec 16th and they notified me on the 19th that there would be delays and that I needed to notify by the 20th. They got lost on my email and I didn't see it until the 23rd. They gave me 24 hours for something I preordered over a month ago. Then when I contacted them they didn't even apologize they just said they couldn't cancel it and instead just cancelled the free pre order bonus. Then three days later my game started to ship, seeming like it was likely possible to cancel it. Their customer service is atrocious and I will never order from that trash website again. Soulless company.
Pre ordered game in Dec. Received email it was cancelled the end of Jan. Why pre order if they cancel. Not even a reason why. Will never order from here again.
Ordered 2 plushies for grandsons-- best price around (plus no shipping) and arrived quickly and well packed. Grandma fail-- I ordered the wrong plushie and had to return one. The return policy was clearly stated, easy to do and, best of all free. Good thing I didn't read the negative reviews prior to ordering-- I had a a great experience... and when I figure out which plushie I should have ordered (!), will return to this site.
I've received all my packages relatively quickly, with no issue. The only issue I've had is that I once ordered something but I guess it was oversold so it had to be canceled which was a bit disappointing, but no biggie as I didn't get charged for it and the rest shipped out right after. It generally only takes 2-4 days for packages to arrive and the quality has always been top tier, exactly as described.
I ordered a package from you that was originally supposed to be here December 14. I live 1 hour away from where the package was shipped from. Because you use FedEx as a shipping company and won't let your customers choose a different shipping option like UPS or USPS, I still have not received this item for my son's Christmas present. 1 hour away and FedEx can't get it to me nor will they allow me to pick it up from them. I have called every day since December 14 trying to find out a delivery date which according to FedEx was whatever day I was calling. Every day I heard "Your package will be delivered by end of the day". On Tuesday, December 21st, I found out that they didn't even know WHERE it was in the facility. I finally received a text yesterday saying it was out on the truck for delivery and would be there by end of the day. It wasn't delivered. I received another message today saying the same thing. I called today to verify and was told that they really don't know when I'll get the package. What recourse do I have for getting this package that I have already paid for?
Ordered & got confirmation email, then they notified me TWO WEEKS later was cancelled bc ran out. Was counting on it as a gift and now don't have time to purchase before Christmas. Terrible and unprofessional customer service.
Purchase some items from them but never arrived. I sent them a message through email and did not get a response for over 14 days. After not knowing if I'll get a refund or replacement from them, I decided to do a charge back with my bank.

I have never written a review in my life but I feel the need to write this one time because of how horrible my experience has been with this company.
I pre-ordered one copy of each Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl on November 3rd. The release date is November 19th. This pre-order is meant to be placed for a delivery date on the release date.
I checked my shipment status every day starting around November 14th. My card was never charged, the shipment never started, and obviously my order never came in by the 19th. Almost a week later, without any notification or warning, my card was charged and my package finally shipped, set to arrive on the 26th.
During all this, order history page would not even let me check my status anymore. The only way I knew anything was even moving was through the FedEx delivery manager, which showed 6 different shipping labels from the Pokémon Company with no verification.
Without any reason to believe my order was even still existent, I simply walked into a Best Buy and walked out with a double pack for the games in a matter of 10 minutes. Now my games have finally arrived as I am writing this and I'm almost finished with the games I bought from Best Buy. Not to mention I am now stuck with two extra copies that I can't even return because I can't access my order history and I am aware that these games are "final sale" items, meaning they are not returnable. They are literally brand new games from an endorsed website.
How does this website survive?

I ordered an Xbox Series X when it first came out and it arrived the morning of release and you can still barely get one of them a whole year later. I could walk into a Best Buy the day after release for this game. This is genuinely pathetic.
My recommendation for pre-orders: Best Buy or Amazon, honestly anywhere besides this website
My coworker and I ordered the brilliant diamond and shining Pearl dual packs Three months ago and has been in processing since then. On release day package was still processing a week later the site says should be delivered that Friday at the latest. Still processing. No way to talk to customer service everything is through email. I've been sending in a requests for a week and everything is forwarded but nobody's getting back to me. I am about to go to my bank and file for fraud. Do not buy from Pokémon center.
My review is fairly straightforward. They get a 5 out of 5 stars from me. I made my order on November 20th, 2021 around noon and I received my items November 26th, 2021 around noon so the shipping was quite quick. The items I got were the new release 19 3/4 Piplup plushie, the Swablu 14 3/4 plushie and the piplup squishy keychain. The extra large squishy Piplup plushie arrived in a sealed bag and a larger clear bag and in a giant box and the Swablu and keychain arrived in a separate large box as well. They were very well packaged and clean. The boxes were undamaged and well taped. The Swablu plushie I got is extremely extremely soft and perfect for hugs. It is sitting on my pillow right now. The Piplup is absolutely massive. I'm 5'10 and got wide shoulders and this plushie takes up my entire torso so it's a huge plushi at nearly 20 inches. This is a Christmas gift for my niece and I got the keychain to put on her Piplup backpack. If you are wanting to do that get the smaller 13 3/4 inch plushie as this one is much much bigger. It's extremely soft and squishy though and very very cute. I highly recommend Pokemon Center as the price was very good, the shipping was quick, they're well packaged and the plushies are extremely clean and in the condition as described. They're very soft and fluffy and have all the tags included with no damage or loose threads.
Have been trying to place an order for literally months. MONTHS. I'm not ordering a ton of items, just a few items for a family with a few kids. It continues to throw errors when I try to check out, whether I use PayPal or put in my credit info directly. I googled it and apparently somewhere my address or my name may not match 100% compared to my credit card account, is the helpful suggestion. I'm not sure what it could be, I don't have issues on any other site. And that doesn't explain why PayPal doesn't work, the payment is vetted through PayPal. Or I can email support for help. I can't find a phone number. By now I have a screenshot of the items I have been trying to get (some of which are out of stock now.). If I search and add them too quickly, then my IP gets blocked. Absolutely ridiculous. I'd rather pay 3rd party fees and let someone else deal with this BS. If you're able to place an order with them without issue, count your lucky stars.

Pokémon Center offers great pre-order rewards, but they take forever to ship anything. It's been 3 days since BDSP's release, and my copies still haven't even shipped. They also haven't told me why they haven't shipped.
They had website problems when they were out of stock on the dual packs for BDSP too. Instead of showing that they were out of stock, they just dropped the item from their store. However, they didn't pull any of the advertising on their own site about the dual pack!
All in all, great plushes and terrible management.
I'm a nice guy but this is the worst experience ever. Was told my pokemin double pack would be shipped ahead of time before release date so it would be here in time and here I am at 8:54 PM on release day and it still hasn't even been shipped! Customer service keeps only saying they are working on me and I ask if I can get a refund and they stop responding. Please don't pre order from these guys they have to learn you can't have horrible service when your a billion dollar company im so furious and will never order anything off pokemin center what a joke.
Answer: It's so not a scam. I've always gotten my products. Whenever there's an issue, it has something to do with USPS.
