I have purchased probably 100 plug ins. At first, he did not require a restart or have access to your Finder on Mac or other areas of your computer. Not only do ALL of the plugins I purchased no longer work (I have not had this issue with any other companies) but he wants you to re-download EVERY plug -in AND he wants access to your data on your computer. No way will I give this guy access. It's one guy running this company and I do not trust a random person having access to my computer, files or data. Are you serious? In this day and time to have access to my information... I think not. Beware when downloading, make sure you read ALL of the prompts.

I am a Youtuber, I make family vlogs (The Meza Family) and I've been using PixelFilmStudios plugin's for a few months now, they tremendously have improved the quality of my videos. I've learned so much from their easy to follow tutorials and I am only getting better with time. I will be purchasing more of these great plugins.

I've purchased a lot, I mean a LOT, of their products and they recently changed their install process to require at least 1 reboot. I'm now 9 reboots in and still a plug-in for a video editor is not installed. They used to make amazing plug-ins but now I have to say STAY AWAY and RUN if you are considering them. I feel cheated and ripped off with a lack of support. Their website also does not reflect their latest install tool - it shows a fast and easy install instead of the failure prone on which requires multiple reboots with no success. I wish things where different - I have purchased several hundred plug-ins over the years from multiple companies and theirs are by far the hardest to get installed and put all sorts of things on your computer they shouldn't.

I hate to pile on with yet another bad review but I really hate poor customer support when you buy software that is clearly problematic. We have used a few of the tools from PFS in the past with good results, so when we loaded our beefy MacPro editing deck with the PFS 3D Corporate set we expected it to work fine. After install, the new tools took over the processor capacity and bogged the entire machine down to a slow, stuttering unusable mess and when we quit FCPX the problem stopped. After the usual restart, re-install... still same problem. I asked for help from the PFS team with one unhelpful email reply in three days. Ugh. Something tells me that applying for a refund will be an issue too. I agree with the others, time to avoid these clowns. Besides, their CC billing option on their site no longer works and you must use PayPal. I should have known better.

I have been trying to use their generators for a couple of years and they SUCK. They either don't work, their fonts do not form the subjects they are supposed to (Christmas ornaments for example are a letter B) and their plugins bog down your computer to the point where they are not practical to use. Some times when I get to their support, they fix the issue, other times they say too bad, here's your money back. They are not AT ALL INTERESTED in fixing the plugins, only selling them to you defective and hoping you just blow off the issue for a $29 generator. I stopped purchasing from them for two years then last week (July 2018) thought I'd give it another try being that I blasted them in an email and on the phone about their quality control. I purchased a couple. Pro Drop Holiday was one. Of the 30 generators, 9 do not work and all of them take 45 minutes to 6 hours to process in Final Cut Pro X. By the way, this is a 15 second clip that takes that long. They simply refuse to put out a good product and instead churn out high volume, low quality products and tout them as professional. The other one I purchased was their MAPS generator. Unfortunately they don't tell you that you have to credit the map company who provides the maps if you are using the clips commercially. They wait until you purchase it then tell you that you have to put their logo on your commercial clip if you sell these for a living. I do. So, since I like to play by the rules, MAPS is, like Pro Drop Holiday, useless. Folks, what I explained above is my factual experience with Pixel Film Studios. They would rather refund you your money than fix the products and keep selling defective goods. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB after this post.

I tried to purchase software for three consecutive days, using various payment options (PayPal, credit cards, debit card). I was rejected every time.

I sent TWO messages requesting help using their online form and they never communicated with me. Then I tried to call them during business hours and there was only a message saying "for faster service send an email", which they never replied to.

I don't know if they are even in business. They suck.
