Once you locate ProIcon in the FCPX Titles Library, there should be multiple types of icon to choose from -- for example, "Corporate" or "General Use". Select the type of icon you want to use and drag the preset into your timeline. Then, in the controls, scroll down to Icon Controls and select from the Icon Selection dropdown to locate which icon you would like to apply.
I had an issue with the generator that I purchased from Pixel Flim Studios. First it was easy to connect to a live agent and open a discussion. Once in the discussion the live agent asked a few questions to see if I tried the items in the knowledge base thatw ere related to the issue I was having (Red Screens). Once we dug in deeper we realized that I need to download the plugin again from the Installer and let the installer do the install for me. Upon Completion of this my application worked like a charm and they even stayed on the line while I tested it. I will be buying more from them for sure

The first step is identifying what red screen you are seeing in Final Cut Pro X.
The "Gradient Red Screen" video will go through a Final Cut Version Red Screen.
*Note that if a plugin states in the system requirements on the product page that FCPX Version 10. 4. 7 is required and you are using an older version this will also product a solid red screen in Final Cut Pro X. You can update FCPX for free in the App Store.
The "Solid Red Screen" and "Renaming the Motion Template Folder" videos will go through installation error Red Screens.
*With this error screen, we recommend uninstalling the product entirely and ejecting all external hard drives before reinstalling.

I have several dozen plugins from Pixel Film Studios. Makes editing a breeze. Customer support is always there to answer any questions. I love the way that they keep creating new plugins that achieve the same quality of special effects and editing techniques that you see on the big screen (Hollywood movie industry). I fell in love with editing because of pixel film studio. I would recommend pixel film studio products to beginners and pros. My favorite is their 3D Projection plugin.

I had an issue - point masking didn't work, so i just wrote to the chat on site - and they kindly and really professionally helped me with the issue. Thank you very much!
If you are ever missing your mask controls we recommend re-downloading and reinstalling the product.
If you are still not seeing the mask controls appear in your published parameters it could be that the PFSMask2. App is not launching from the installer.
Here are some instructions on how to launch this manually.
Quit all applications and make sure that any external hard drives are disconnected.
In your Finder window navigate to Macintosh HD - Library - Plugins - FxPlug - then locate PFSMask2
Double click this - not much will happen - just a little flash on the screen. If a window does pop up you can close it.
After this relaunch final cut and test the plugin.
I installed the PixelFilmStudios Maps plug in and had some issues. I got on their online live chat and they were very helpful and resolved my issue quickly. And the plugin is awesome!

This has to be the easiest set of tools I have worked with. I cannot express the amount of functionality these products offer. They are easy and straight to the point. I'm new to this whole video thing and my videos look great now thanks to Pixel Fil Studios. I would like to see a bundle package but these are still great prices as individual items. Hands down the best and easiest to use ad ins for FCPX.

I have bought products prom Pixel Film Studios going back at least 5 years now. As a commercial director I can'y praise these guys enough, they have made my life so much easier. Their live support has been a lifesaver, they're always ready to help and I have never once dropped the ball. They know how urgent our deadlines can be in this business and have your back. First, a note: there's a weird sudden spike of "good" reviews within a short period of time after years of 'not so great' reviews. I guess SiteJabber didn't get ahold of this fake review spam yet but one can imagine how legitimate those recent reviews are.
As for their products: quality is terrible. They may in some cases look decent, they do look cheaper but the issue is that stability does not exist. Some worked yesterday and suddenly poof - gone (either crashing FCPX and sometimes even corrupting the project they were used in) whereas others didn't work at all (just crashing).
The funniest part are the mails that they've sent recently:
9 October 2019 - "There are several issues (...) we are are working around the clock to resolve these issues (...) We recommend holding off until our team has heard from Apple & solved all of the bugs that have popped up. ;)"
6 November 2019 - "Attention: 99% of products have been updated for Catalina."
It took them a MONTH to make plugins work and not even all of them (quite a few still crash).
What I really regret is not looking for more opinions about them BEFORE pressing "Proceed to checkout":(
