They did provide the service they advertise, but it takes much longer than they claim, and you can't send your next letter, photo, or card until the previous one is delivered… which can take weeks.
I find it horribly ironic that a criminally ran service such as this is being allowed to prey upon, and profit from, desperate people that are down on their luck. Just another example of how severely broken our sad for-profit justice system actually is.
This is uncalled for I paid my money an pictures just sitting there. I would like my money back I don't recommend this service to anyone

Everything started off great. Then went downhill. I canceled then They took 35 bucks a month later. And here I am 4 months later still haven't been refunded.

Please do not fall for this. It provide services that you do not need this website for. For example sending pictures and letters. You don't need them to do it. They took 34.99 and tried to take another but I locked my account. This was after I subscribed to a Free Subscription. I even went to double check if I was as fault but I was not. I been calling they never pick up, call back or respond

I signed up for 3 months at $34.99. They have charged me $34.99 5 times since August 26. I contacted them 3 times and they told me I was going to get a refund within 14 days and never got it. They don't return my phone calls. I just got charged again on Oct 6th after emailing them and telling them what's going on. They did the same thing to my daughter. I have reported them to my bank as fraud and my money has been returned to me but I had to cancel my debit card that I've had for years. Shame on them for taking advantage of sad people just wanting to connect with loved ones

This service is very unreliable. It took several months of returned letters before Pigeonly finally provided the CORRECT zip code. Subsequent to that, there have been a series of problems. Inmates receive mail meant for other inmates and have no way of passing it along. Letters take 2 weeks to 2 months to be delivered. A birthday card mailed a month early was recently delivered a month late. Pictures and images are dark and frequently undeciferable Mail is delivered in bulk - sometimes as many as 10 letters at once with postmarks over a 2 week period.
There is nothing positive I can say about this service except that it has possibly stopped contraband from reaching prisoners. However, innocent people are being jeopardized because of misdoings of a few.

I am TOTALLY irritated. I heard it was fraudulant and people were complaining but that was after I setup an account. The app is supposedly free. It is not! I had to enter cc info why? I didn't finish cc info so when they tried to charge my card it was declined. Weeks later I was miraculously charged. They make it impossible to cancel and get a refund. I called support and was on hold over an hour... no answer. If you request a call back you won't EVER get one. If you cancel through the app you don't get a refund. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS APP TO ANYONE!

I went through pigeonly to send a birthday card to my son paid twenty four dollars the first time. Then I let them bill me 19.99 a month but then I look at bank statements they took 19.99 out of my account 19 times I have called the first two people told me my refund would take three business days, the third person said 3 to 14 that's when I ask for supervisor Kate the supervisor has given me a big run around had me email her supervisor with no response from her now when I call gorge or Chris tell me she is not there she will call me back no response call back she is on phone. I am 56 years old I can't afford to do with out this money. I have been very nice when calling this has gone on for two months now.

Often not processing until 2 weeks. While the others already delivered. I've been experiencing the annual fee cut my credit card every 2 or 3 days until 7 times. Both case after I call already solved. But I need keep an eyes on my account in pigeonly. Beginning July 21,2002, all USPS mail for Iowa's incarcerated persons had to be directed to Pigeonly in Las Vegas, NV, for digital scanning and then copies forwarded to the appropriate correctional facility. As of 8/8 my loved one has received only the letter I mail to Las Vegas on July 20. There are currently 13 letters from me, dating from July 21, that have yet to be delivered. Pigeonly's information says that the letters will be scanned within one day of receipt and then forwarded by Priority Mail (1-3 days). Mail should arrive in 10 days or less. We are currently on day 16.

BAD BUSINESS! This company has taken money from my bank account 5-6 times even after I no longer had an account with them. I had the first charges refunded and now it's been 3 weeks and I'm waiting for 2 more unauthorized charges to be refunded to my bank account. Each time they give me the same response that they're sorry for the inconvenience and to wait patiently for my refund. I have asked multiple times for them to remove my information from their system and they haven't because I still keep getting random charges from them. I have all emails where they promised and said they would issue a refund and bank statements to prove that they took money from my account without authorization. This company has been nothing but a headache. I recommend that nobody ever does business with them because their billing practices are shady and the customer service is not helpful at all. I'm reporting this company to Better Business Bureau and any other review site so I can warn others not to do business with them. Pigeonly is like an annoying bIrd that flys away with your money-DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Once again my account has been billed in error. This is the second time I have had to contact Pigeonly for incorrect billing. After being billed for $34.99 too early, I also could not log into the system to verify my billing.
I am requesting a full refund of my $34.99 back to my card IMMEDIATELY.
I signed up for a special offer that was supposed to be $34.99 for a 3 month auto pay. Next billing will be on Sept 23,2022 and I have my recipe which is attached for review.
After I have received my refund I will discontinue your services after my paid 3 month period. This company has on more than one occasion failed to bill my credit card properly which is very suspicious and can be reported as fraud to the proper departments.
I expect to hear from your company no later than 5pm central time today, 07/13/2022 concerning my refund.

I was subscribed. I canceled my subscription a year ago, see today that I was charged $34.99. The card that they charged was not even on file, they should not even have that cards information but they somehow did and charged it without me even having a subscription. I saw from other reviews other people saying the same exact thing being charged $34.99. And that they would do an investigation and they said the same exact thing to me. Completely bizarre that they charged a car they should not even know the knowledge of.

Good friend of mine got locked up so I started using this service then they transferred so I haven't used the service in over 6 months. Imagine my surprise when I see on my bank statement they're still charging me after all this time monthly. I've gone to the contact us feature of their website and numerous times and receive zero response. Would not recommend

I got a confirmation that this was free. Why do I need a credit card on file if it's supposedly free so far I like the service I only sent a postcard once I really don't need anything else. And then when I looked on my account it said that I was given a 3-day trial for $19.99 if I'm already got a plan that's free I don't need that one other than that it's a good app

Answer: Hello: To all who have suffered multiple, unauthorized charges by Pigeonly. I have submitted all necessary info to classaction.org to initiate a class action suit. My request is being reviewed by lawyers who will let me know if Pigeonly's actions warrant a class suit. You can go to classaction.org to review the process. You may also want to check out the current suits and settlements to see if you qualify as an injured party entitled to a portion of the settlement. If the lawyers decide we have a valid case, they will draft the complaint and file with the appropriate court. The judge must approve the class action before it can go any further; the lawyers will reach out to injured parties, and/or post the suit/settlement on classaction.org, newspapers, etc. If you aren't contacted, please make the effort to join this class action once it's posted. It doesn't require an appearance in any court, nor much of your time. These people are lining their pockets at the expense of so many of us already forced to deal with unfortunate situations.
