I would never purchase from PetCareRx again

I used PetCareRx to order 6 cases of cat food a few months ago. The process was great so I decided to place another order to give my business to the smaller fish in the pond. My experience with the second order was horrendous.

I placed 3 separate orders for 3 different flavors of food. They went through and charged my card and I received a confirmation. The next day, I received shipping confirmation for 1 of the 3 orders. I logged into my account to check on the other 2 and found that they were cancelled. I didn't cancel them and noone notified me of them being cancelled so I called customer service. I spent a very long time on the phone with her. First, I was told they were cancelled because it was considered bulk. Next, I was told they were cancelled because they didn't have stock (yet it was still available online). After what seemed like an hour of time on the phone, they agreed to allow me to have 3 cases each of the 2 flavors that weren't shipped. I provided payment and received a confirmation. Then, the next day, I received shipping notice and the order was changed to 2 cases each. Again without any notification.

It's hard to explain and make this review understandable but I will never order from them again. They have items in stock and basically refused to take my money and sell them to me. I like to buy 5-6 cases at a time when items are in stock because there is a cat food shortage and it is hard to find the flavors my cat likes available so when I do, I stock up. I should be able to buy what I want to pay for or they should really not sell online.

I feel the whole thing wasted my time on the phone and they have zero communication. It happened twice where they 1st cancelled and then modified an order with no notification.

I tried to support the little guy but at this point, I honestly hope the big guy puts them out of business. Not worth the aggravation.

Misleading and false advertising. This company advertises that it sells products but they do not sell the product and you will never receive it. They claim that the item is out of stock but after ordering the same item twice (each order months apart from the other) my order has never been fulfilled. The website claims everything is in stock but that is false. They also don't contact you and tell you that your order won't be fulfilled. I believe they do this to entice customers to place an order with them rather then with other reputable brands (PetCo or Petsmart) in order to get a hold of customers information and sell your info. I have gotten a lot more scam emails and phone calls ever since placing an order. Buyer Beware and order elsewhere.

They reduce of amount ordered without asking the customer. Supposed to be free shipping when you buy over $49 but when they reduce amount of the product they actually send u - overall price paid is dropping as well and they will charge u shipping $5.99. They re-write the whole order and amount paid without u knowing. Total scam. When called customer service- I got accused of not "being sensitive to other customers" and "not understanding that it's a normal way to contact business"... simply for asking to send me the whole order (all product was still in stock on their web-site) as ordered with discount and free shipping. Never had anyone changing order after the fact for "short supply" while advertising that short supply still on web-site as being fully in stock. You bought this amount and you shipping the amount you paid for. Customer service actually told me in a rude mocking manner that 5 items of the same product is a huge amount to buy and I should not count on more.

PetCareRx has been a lifesaver for my 5 Maltese over these last many years, enabling purchases of high quality prescriptions and other supplies. Three lived long, healthy lives before passing away of old age. My 2 current Maltese are healthy and happy. Just now dealing with age-related supplements. So thankful for PetCareRx. Encourage all pet owners to become members!

I had an issue with my Pet Plus subscription and I spoke with Tyra in customer service. She went above and beyond to make right the difficulty and to also issue a refund to my account, some thing I was not expecting. She provided calm and competent customer service in a way that she must be a great asset to the company. Thank you!

PetCarerx's web site showed 10 cases of cat food were in stock. Subsequent email confirmed 10 cases were ordered. 5 days later when checking order, as it had not arrived, web site showed entire ordered was cancelled. No email was received advising of cancellation. After 29 minutes on the phone, mostly on hold for a supervisor which never came on, Customer Service had no good explanation of why order was cancelled. Offer was made to reinstate order but only 4 of 10 cases were now reluctantly acknowledged to be in stock. Request for expedited shipping was rejected. Beware of coupon restrictions noted in small print. PetPlus, a program starting at $139.95/year, offerred savings on my order of Purina Pro Plan cat food of about 34%. But the free "Today's Coupon" discount of 25% meant I would have to be spending over $1122/year on this cat food to justify the additional 9% savings offerred with the PetPlus program. I will never waste time ordering from PetCarerx again and risk not knowing if and when my order will ship especially when Customer Service is of no help.

I've been with PetCareRX for 3 years now. Every time I've called I've had a friendly voice on the line who was ready to help. Orders come quickly and only once has a product been out of stock. Even then, they called around to find the dog food for me. Just recently, I spoke with Megan Clapp who assisted me with renewing my PetPlus - which has been a huge help with meds.

My dogs are dead. Now all of a sudden, I keep getting messages only on my voicemail to call *******427 about my order. Two to three a week, this company is bad news, get your stuff from your vet as Petcare will continue to harass you.

Just got off the phone with Tyra B and she was so helpful and kind. I had placed the wrong order of dog food and she was able to get it switched to what I needed. The mistake was clearly mine but she went above and beyond to make sure they had the food I needed and was able to update my account/order. Was a very nice experience. Years ago, I had a very sick dog who needed a certain kind of heart medication and this was the only site I could find her meds on and their cost was more reasonable than most, and I never had to worry about running out. Disappointing customer service
March 29, 2022

I bought a bag of Hill's Prescription cat food (c/d variety) in Dec 2021 that was delivered in early January. I just opened it last week and long story short, after a couple feedings, both my cats - who had been eating this variety of food since about Sept 2021 - threw up and wouldn't eat anymore of it. I called PetCareRx this morning to report the issue and waited about 10 minutes for a supervisor before soeone finally said someone would call me back. After 5 hours, I had gotten no response so I called back. The end result is that because I'd had the bag (which is stamped with a Best Buy date of 6/23) over 30 days, there was nothing they could do. They didn't seem to care about the lot # stamped on the bag to see if the product had been recalled, they asked no follow up questions, asked no info about my cats, offered no discount on another bag - nothing. So $60+ in the toilet. Even area stray cats won't eat it. Very disappointing and I've canceled my membership with them.

Poor Customer Service

I purchased Hill's Prescription Diet c/d Multicare Urinary Care Canned Cat Food - 5.5 oz, 24-pack, Ocean Fish Flavor and I received an email that said the package was delivered. However - there is no package here. My doorbell never rang. So I called your customer service department and was rudely spoken to by a supervisor named Ayesha. If it gets to the point where I have to send an email after speaking with someone on your customer care team, that's not a good sign. (A) I want a refund for the product because I have yet to receive it even though it says it was delivered -- no one can tell me where it was delivered so how can I ensure that it's somewhere safe? Who has the package? No one can tell me. That's unacceptable. (B) Ayesha needs to undergo some additional training because she did not handle the conversation properly. On top of that, she called me "Ma'am" and I am a "Sir" - that told me that she was not capable of handling a conversation without misgendering the customer on the line. She had an attitude as if this was not a conversation worth having. So now not only do I not have this specific food that my cat NEEDS, I am now enraged after being spoken to so rudely by someone who is a SUPERVISOR. I will not be using PetCareRX ever again. This was the worst experience to have being a first time customer. I will be calling back Monday & Tuesday & every day after that until I am fully reimbursed. I don't even want to deal with trying to locate this package. The tracking app can't tell me where the package is and neither can your customer service team. All they said was "you just have to wait til Monday" - unacceptable. Is my cat just supposed to starve til then? Not only do I want to be fully reimbursed, I want to speak to another supervisor or someone higher up in order to undo the emotional damage Ayesha has caused.

Very poor service, they list many items they don't have in stock, I enthusiastically signed up and only 50% of my orders were shipped. The others were cancelled without a notice.
Very poor customer service as well.
They tried to sign me up for some kind of annual membership and give me back additional discount on orders that were never shipped and cancelled without any notice

Stay away, look for other real suppliers.

Horrible customer service worst I've ever dealt with
I ordered from this company first time I have ordered from them because they were cheaper than going to the vet when the box arrived it was open and damaged and there was nothing inside I contacted the company right away and I cannot believe how rude all of the customer service representatives including a supervisor was it was absolutely horrible nobody wanted to help or do anything they told me to contact the post office which I did and the post office told me to contact the shipper the other one fox figure there was one tiny little piece of tape on it I offered to send her a picture of the damage box they refuse to receive it I had no alternative than to disputed on my credit card Which they immediately refunded me absolutely horrible experience I'll never deal with them again

February 2021, I ordered $119.00 of Rx cat food. I cancelled the auto ship after that 1st order because the fed. Express driver texted that my order was delivered but I never saw it. It was a Friday and I ran out of Rx cat food over the weekend! When I called customer service... the guy kind of laughed and said someone would call me on Monday. No one called at all. Cat food never arrived to my house!

The saga continues today, as I was on-line banking, I noticed that my checking account had a pending debit charge for $119.00. Can you believe it? Worst part was that my cat has been deceased since October 2021.

Idiots!
