My vet called Jan 29th to check on delivery time for a critical prescription for my 3 1/2 year old German Shepherd and was told I would have the prescription in a few days. I called on the 30th to finalize the order. Despite my vet having called, on the 2nd they asked for a faxed prescription, which they received on the 2nd per an email confirmation to me. They mailed the non-critical prescription on the 2nd and sent me an email indicating that "my prescription has shipped." The shipment arrived, and to my dismay, the critical prescription was no in the package. I called to learn that the critical prescription had been approved and sent to the pharmacy to be filled, but that "something had happened," and it hadn't been filled. I was then told that there was an issue with my having the prescription sent to a PO Box. They said they couldn't guarantee a quick shipment to the PO Box and needed a physical address. Apparently, because of a fear of a delay, they delayed the order FOR OVER TEN DAYS! They did not contact me via email. They did not contact my vet. In the mean time, my beautiful has suffered! I will never order from this completely irresponsible company again, and you should not trust them!

I bought prescription medicine from PetCareRx for an advertised price of 28.99 (including sale tax and shipping). The final price stated on the webpage was indeed $28.99, which I agreed to pay. However, my credit card was charged for additional $89 presumably for some "membership" - this charge was NOT mentioned in the webpage-invoice (or summary of charges). I did not want or expect to buy any "membership"; I did not authorize PetCareRx to charge my credit card for any extra amount. This was fraudulent use of my financial information, which I provided to this company in good faith.
Customers should be aware that PetCareRx can conduct unscrupulous business and even commit fraud

I would give them a zero if I could. The website talks about "we aren't happy if you aren't" and that is a bunch of crap. They don't care about the customer at all. They won't follow the return procedures they have posted online. I have disputed it via my bank and filed a complaint with the BBB. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

In November 2013, I clicked on the cat tab, then on the flea and tick line. This brought up Advantage II among others. We have four cats and I knew we would need to be prepared for ticks in the spring when they're at their worst. They had a good deal on the 12 pack, so I spent the $109 for it. When I took out the package in spring I saw that it only mentioned fleas. Our problem for our four cats is mainly ticks, so this was really of little use. When I called and asked to exchange it for something that would work on ticks, I was told:"No, we have a 30 day return policy, so we can't accept it." Obviously they do not have a deceptive ad policy, so I am out $109 and will not deal with them again. Obviously I was foolish to do so in the first place and will share my experience with others.

These folks couldn't have screwed my order up more it they were trying. They didn't ship my dog's medicine when they said because my vet didn't cooperate with them... not their fault, but they didn't bother to inform me that they were having a problem.

From there it only got worse! They screwed billing my charge card up to the point where they sent me over my limit, then delayed the shipment, they didn't do what they said that they would do, the supervisor was rude and curt and when I asked to speak with her supervisor, they wouldn't patch me through.

Terrible customer service and STUPID people on the phone. Not a good combination for a website.

THEY ARE THIEVES, DO NOT EVER OBLIGAT YOURSELF TO THESE CROOKS WITH AUTOMATIC SHIPMENTS, THEY WILL NOT STOP THE SHIPMENTS I DON'T CARE HOW FAR IN ADVANCE YOU NOTIFY THEM AND IF YOU FIND YOURSELF WITH AN UNWANTED SHIPMENT, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR VERBAL INSTRUCTIONS TO REFUSE AND GIVE IT TO YOUR CARRIER. I HAVE BEEN TRYING SINCE 04/26/10 TO GET $129.00 BACK FOR MY FIXED INCOME 75 YEAR OLD MOTHER; WITH THE USPS BACKING ME UP WITH DOCUMENTATION THAT IT WAS RETURNED. I CANCELED THE AUTO-SHIP IN 02/10 THEY SENT IT ANYWAY IN APRIL AND THEN ATTEMPTED TO SEND YET ANOTHER ONE IN JUNE! THEY ARE A SMALL COMPANY OF AROUND 150 PEOPLE IN UP STATE NEW YORK. THEY ARE NOT VERY ELDERLY, PET, CONSUMER OR AMERICAN FRIENDLY. LET THE BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS HEARTLESS THIEVING COMPANY.
