I have ordered meds that needed approval from my Vet. The Vet approved it, they took my money, but I just kept getting emails that they were out of stock. It took 2 weeks for a sick cat to get its medication. I have ordered many other things from this site, and there came the email - out of stock. So it either took several weeks to get the order, or they just up and cancelled pieces of it. On top of that, I ordered some things because they were specialty items to be shipped with something else if you bought it. I only received part of it, and when I called them, they gave me the number of their affiliate who told me they didn't offer that and to call PetCareRX back. This went back and forth until I had to ask for a manager, but they never let me talk to a manager. I looked at how to contact them on a higher level and came across the Affiliates section and how to become one. I guess they have a pyramid scheme set up and if said affiliate doesn't do what they're supposed to do, you can't do anything about it. If you go to a website and order something, you should not only get what you order, but never have to go through a process where you have to keep calling them back to get your order and even then you never get said order. This site should be shut down immediately!

I signed up since they offer better prices on Rx products, but when you buy a product with the "PetPlus" price, you cannot use coupons. So I basically spent $65 for a membership that gave me the same price I would have received by just using a coupon already advertised on their site.

To make things worse, they only allow you to cancel by phone. Who in 2019 doesn't allow online membership cancellations?

Unlike others here who seemed to have had problems I got a great deal on my pet's expensive flea/heartworm med (Trifexis). Promptly shipped. I had one month left from a previous purchase and even though my dog has been on this med for years she suddenly became sick from it and my vet wants to switch to another med. I called Petcarerx. I was able to return the unopened shipping box and get a full refund.

Buyer beware

Do not pay the $50 membership price, it is a total rip off. The first order they send you great prices, but wait for the next order they tell you the reason you got that price was a first time discount, in the meanwhile you paid $50 to get a $15 discount on the first order.
They also charge you SALES TAX they say they are associated with Caremart that is in all 50 states. Go to another website that you do not need to pay a membership fee to get free shipping etc you do pay for it on your second order

This company has got to be a scam. After ordering heartworm preventive medication online I received a call and email from them saying my Vet's phone numbers were wrong. I contacted my Vet and the numbers I gave them were correct. I called Jasmin at PetCareRx back and left a message and also emailed that the numbers were correct. After not hearing from them I cancelled my order via email and ordered from a reputable company. I also requested that my Vet not authorize any Rx for PetCareRx. Well, after emailing FOUR times to cancel my order and send confirmation, I receive a call asking for the correct phone number for my Vet so they can fulfill the order.
I wish I had read the other bad reviews before I placed the order.
DO NOT order from them - you will be sorry.

Have been ordering prescriptions from petcareRx for several years now. I think even with paying the annual membership fee, you still save a decent amount of money on buying prescriptions here vs at the Vet's office.
The only negative feedback I'll state is, when you order online you're given an option if you want them to call your vet to verify the prescription or if you're going to mail in the written prescription. Well, my vet won't authorize phone prescriptions, so I always mail them in. Typically, I place the order online, mail the prescription in with the order number and once they receive it then my order gets processed. Well, I selected I'm MAILING the written script, but I just got an email saying they called my vet but they only authorized part of my prescription. Well... the reason why is because my dog lost weight so her tick/flea medication requires a totally different prescription from whatvi had on my previous orders (which they were going by when they called my vet). Why give the option on how to verify the prescription if they're going to call the vet anyways when I told them I'm mailing it?

This company is a shady scam and they don't care about their customers or their pets. I ordered this product on January 10,2019. I had been assured by customer service it would be shipped over night, despite stating it was free shipping. It did not arrive. Days passed and I heard nothing. I reached out to customer service and they said it was out of stock and that they usually have something in place to contact people when that happened, but they checked and for some reason I was not contacted. I was given an in stock date of the 22nd of January. My elderly cat in renal failure was already going without her pills by then but I was hopeful the 22nd would not be too late. 22nd came and went and I was told a date of the 28th. They offered no compensation and even more delightfully, they've deleted my account. I can still check the status of my order with the order number and my last name, so I don't know what they're trying to accomplish. They are condescending and rude in their customer service emails and very obviously just want me to go away. DO NOT ORDER HERE. It is worth it to pay a few more dollars for your precious pets and not support people who do not treat human beings and their pets with any sort of respect.

They advertise low prices, but watch out. They have a hidden membership program which adds considerably to the cost you get quoted. Customer service is questionable at best, lots of empty promises, unsigned emails, and strange phone numbers calling back about problems. Had a shipment that was supposed to be overnight, but UPS delayed, so I asked for a refund of the $25 overnight shipping cost as UPS refunds the shipper any failed service. Keep getting emails of "4 - 10 days" to get the refund. A month later and calls / emails and still no refund. Sent me an email saying my AMEX card was declined, but the link they sent was for another customer, not me. Sloppy way to run a business.

Terrible

I called to tell Pet care Rx that I never received my package. It was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday and today is Friday! The customer service rep kept calling me by the wrong last name, put me on hold for 10 minutes. They said they could resend the package (my dogs pain meds) express delivery, but I would have to pay first. It was only 9 dollars. I told them I needed the meds today. But the rep didn't seem to care. I said I just want a refund. I went to get the meds at my vet and had to pay double. Customer service at Petcarerx is terrible. I found cheaper prices on Amazon for non prescription pills cheaper. I'm going to wait for my refund then cancel my membership and remove my credit card info.

Talked to a supervisor Andrew for medication that they were out of stock on, finally in and they doubled the price! It was $35.00 and they took it to $70.00! They will take advantage of you any chance they get!
Supervisor didn't care that they were losing a customer... Buy from Pet Value Mart!

BUYER BEWARE!

On my second order they increased the price 30% after stating via email that this order would be the same price as the first. I attempted to speak with a supervisor and this was not an option, I was told a request to do so would be made and I would be put in a "queue" with a 2 to 3 day call back. I won't go into details on the Petplus membership as I paid for it and cancelled it 2 weeks later without getting a refund on it. BUYER BEWARE - you may believe you are getting a good deal but you will likely run into the same problems I did and pay significantly more than other sites. Most concerning is the fact that they are charging my credit cared $98 more than agreed upon. I filed a complaint with the BBB (first time in my life) and will be contacting my credit company to dispute this unauthorized charge.

Today has really shaken me up! Almost two weeks ago, I purchased a prescription refill for my baby. I waited and waited and finally called to find out the status since the pills were close to finishing. Being that this is heart medication, this was a potentially serious circumstance. After a lengthy conversation, the rep said his boss said they would send a temporary portion out just to close that gap of uncertainty. I paid for more meds but they sent this extra portion through UPS 2 day delivery. My baby missed a pill because this company was too cheap to send the meds via overnight. The supervisor is AWFUL! He was officious and uncaring, at the very least. This company keeps employees who don't care. I even said to this man that he was focused on saving $10.00 and willing to put my baby in peril. This reflects very poorly on this company.

Observe all the negative comments before mine and make your own decision. They lost me as a customer. I'm completely disgusted by their lack of professionalism and heart.

Overcharge for products widely available, offer half price discounts for their membership but only when you are cancelling, will modify an order after you made it in order to remove discounts, will even send and charge you for an order that has clearly been cancelled.

For a $50 a year membership, I had the pleasure of paying more than double for my dog's medicine, without notice at my local CVS, using my PetPlus membership, and had no idea until I received my charge card statement. When I checked with the pharmacy about the price, they quoted me a price $50 less than the $78 I paid. PetPlus won't let me cancel my membership and recoup half a year's membership back because they said I saved money with them. I feel like they owe me $100! Stay away from this debacle! Go on goodrx.com to save on your pet's scripts you can purchase at "human" pharmacies and look for coupon codes on the internet to get the best price on Frontline, Heartguard, etc. You'll save at least the $50 membership!

I purchased my dog's heart medicine from them when Allivet was backordered. They talked me into a $50 membership by lowering the price of the medication to $25 for the first order. I did not realize the order was 30 pills instead of the 50 pills I got from Allivet for $70, AND they shorted me 1 pill. Also they said they would sent my order 2-3 day shipping because I told the customer service person I was going to run out of pills. I didn't get my order for 6 days and I did run out of pills and had to buy a few days worth of medication at my vet at a much higher price. Will stick with Allivet from now on.

Keep 19th century bankers hours, post jibberish on order status, foyr days after they say its shipped., they send another cya email anout USPS habing received information from the shipper... they are the shipper who said it was shipped four days back... East Coast hours but cant reach them an hour ahead of theur posted closing time.

These people lie about shipping and fill orders wrong!
Dont use them. They will ship wrong product and never answer phone. Always a 30 minute hold and supervisors never available. Threatened to sue them and got an overnight.

Time to do a class actioin lawsuit?

They charged me $50 for petplus membership a year ago. I didn't notice until I checked my bank account. No notice. They didn't ask me "Would you like to join our membership?"
This week I called them to cancel the membership before expire.(because I didn't wanna miss it) The operator said I'm the petplus member until next week, but they erased my name already. Liar!
Their system is very tricky, so when you buy something from them you should check your bank account.
