My dog has a chronic condition that requires long-term medication and I prefer to place my orders online because of cash back promotions. One medication only comes in a week's worth of dosage so I have to order 4 boxes at a time if I want a month's supply. Each box is processed as a separate item so my vet gets one notification of a refill, okays it, then gets 3 more which they usually decline because they just approved the first one. I have to call and tell them - no it's just because PetCareRx makes each box go through individually rather than grouping it into an order of 4 boxes like I requested.
When I've called PetCareRx, I usually talk to Peggy who is so nice and helpful. That's the only positive to come out of my frustration with the online ordering process.
Oneika was very friendly, efficient, and helpful! I would definitely speak with her again if I had more questions in the future.

I'm a new. Customer in May I ordered meds for my dog was approved by vet and it took 2 1/2 weeks to rec the meds! Called, wrote, nothing! No call back no email response! But I did rec a call to get me to buy their savings plan! Ok last week I decided to give these ppl another chance! But this time I wanted to pick up the meds from the pharmacy, three times I confirmed this with the sales person! Today I get an email it's in the mail! Omg really I call these ppl again! I was told flat out I never told them to call the pharmacy! Wtf! I even had the Acct number to show the pharmacy that I already pd! The girl couldn't believe why I was so nasty! I'm a new customer, you talked me into taking your savings plan! And both orders you screwed up! I'm done with this company! Chewy is my new friend! Btw it just cost me more money at the pharmacy for pills that I all ready paid for! Beware ppl! And always get persona name on other end!

I have been a long time customer of PetCareRx and have never had an issue. Earlier this week I realized I was running out of my dog's daily medication - called and spoke with Gabriella who was SO helpful - she was able to renew my PetCareRx membership which gave me a discount for my dog's meds - which I have already received! Never would have known I could save a few bucks if it weren't for Gabriella mentioning it. Great turn around, great prices and great customer service!

I found the customer service to be 1. Quick to answer the phones, 2. Quick to resolve any issues in getting my pets' medications, and 3. Very pleasant to talk to. As for the website, it has pretty good deals on medicines and ships for free.

I was trying to order a flea collar on line and accidentally got two. When I woke in morning I realized and tried to cancel, it was too late. I did not realize I had gotten a membership also. They couldn't refund anything till I returned collars. Put them both in one of the boxes since they came in two separate deliveries and returned. Waited and received no refund. Gave them tracking number and they said they only received one collar. They were both in the same box! Called and emailed talked with many people and they will only refund lower price collar. Ripped off and with many calls and w-mails will not refund $50. Plus dollars. Do not use this company.

I initially called in upset because I was charged for a membership fee I didn't remember I joined last year looking for a refund but the agent I got on the phone said I can cancel for a full refund, no issues. Easier then anticipated. She then went over the details and savings with me that I had no idea about and got me to keep it. I wish I remembered her name but the membership really makes sense. I use them for my dogs food and prescription now and save so much in shipping alone!

See lots of complaints, but I've always had great service. I never expect overnight, but comes within a week. If I need it sooner, I pay more and go to vet. Guess it depends on what you buy. Have a 140 lb dane and PetCareRx price is almost half what I pay at vet so membership is worth it for me. PP med is $15 here and $35 at vet, Glucosamine is $38.94 here and $52.95 at vet. Multiply by 6 months and save $200/year minus $50 membership. Only problem I ever had was with Heartworm. Refuse to buy two 12 mo (1 pk 120 lbs and 1pk 20 lbs) Cheaper to buy 16 mo of 120 lbs and split pills, but they won't fill unless I get it exactly as prescribed.

What a terrible company with terrible customer service. Bought a 'membership' for $65 only to find out I needed to buy it for each pet I would be buying Heartgard for. Customer service did not care nor did anything to try and fix it. Was told I would get a call back from a supervisor, I ended up having a call back myself. Take some tips from the reviews on this website and go somewhere else for your pet's medications.

I ordered supplement for my pet. On-line did not mention will charge $70+ for membership. Sent 2 emails regarding overcharged Nobody replied, Try live chat, what a joke, nobody replied either. Finally someone picked up after 20 minutes. Told me it is membership fee. I told her your on-line did not tell customer when you order, it will charge membership fee. There price is extremely high without membership. I can get it from other pet site at least $25+ cheaper. What a joke. Whoever order shop from them, please shop around.

I ordered my pet's medicine on Thursday and told them I needed it sent Federal Express. I said I was leaving on vacation Monday. They said they provided one day UPS service. I expected it on Friday given one day service or Saturday at the latest. It came Monday after I left. When I called them about the $20 that I paid for delivery they said, after talking to a manager, that they would refund half the delivery charge. They were not even sorry my pet did not have her meds. I will be moving my dogs prescriptions.

Answer: It's trustworthy, a prescription is needed, but dealing with medications taking forever to ship, or having some type of issue with refills has been a continued problem. That is the most frustrating thing about this company.
