I don't live in India and I did my 1st online shopping in india for my new home in india.
I shopped for almost 2.5lakhs rupees and the item was damaged at the time of delivery.
I am still trying since 2 weeks that they fix my issue.
The things which are not even delivered they are not willing to cancel.
I have never written any reviews for any one this way but after getting horrible responses from Peppfry I am doing this so that I can save other people not to get fooled by peppfry.
Poor quality of Matress and with the 100 days trail where in one day I informed that the Matress is not good for my mother and during the purchase also I did informed that it's for my mother.

Horribly bad customer service
I bought a bed for my daughter. She's only 38kgs. Within a few months the bed had snapped. I called pepperfry...they sent a carpenter who brought a replacement piece and while installing it, in front of me he broke the side of the bed. He said that it would be replaced and left...then I get a call from pepperfry saying they cannot do anything because it was broken due to usage. They refuse to believe me, and i am the customer. I made a mistake. Don't make the same. Their products are sub standard and they cheat people with slick advertising...don't believe it.
I don't recommend anyone encouraging this company who puts the word of a lying carpenter over the customer. And what kind of bed breaks in a few months. Substandard poor quality products and service. Their tagline...'Very sad furniture to you.'
Bought an office chair worth 7k online from pepperfry which had 12 months warranty which broke in just 7 months of purchase. Pepperfry refused a repair / replace of the chair stating the warranty was actually for 6 months and not 12 months and washed off their hands. It was my bad I didn't had any proofs stating warranty of the product which in fact Pepperfry tactfully never provided during the purchase. In-fact the product still shows a warranty of 12 months today on their portal (phtotos attached) for luring customers into fake promises which they will never keep so be careful before buying anything from Pepperfry!
I selected a product on their website. It was out of stock, But it was available on the manufacturer's website, and so I purchased it there. Had I not seen it on the Pepperfry website, I would not have known about it. So I have Pepperfry to thank for this. However, after purchasing it from the other website, I received no reply either via whatsapp or email as confirmation. And I have not received the product as well. The cell number on their website is invalid and spam. I chose to request Pepperfry to supply me with a Telephone number that they surely must have on their records, so that I could connect with the manufacturer directly. I was surprised to be told, Pepperfry had nothing to do with it and had no number to part with. Essentially it was my issue and I had to find my own way. So much for the reputation that Pepperfry has built over these years. I categorically mentioned that I was not asking them for a refund ONLY the number of the vendor that they were promoting on their website.
So be careful with online purchasing with Pepperfry, for products that they sell, but don't back. Now you may wonder, which products would those be? Your guess is as good as mine.
I would assume it's better to be circumspect about any product you want to buy here. There's no question of quality. It's a question of whether the products are 100% backed by Pepperfry. And, I was told that this brand was being discontinued. So, then one wonders what was it doing on that page on that website of Pepperfry.

We ordered sofa from their PepperFry studio In 2 days we got the product but the product shown in the image and came to delivery has more difference. Product looks like very bad quality we paid 16k but even its not worth for 50% of the amount. Please don't prefer this online website. Please check some other local shops to experience the product values. We initiated the return policy on the delivered day itself but they did not accepted it. They never consider the customer satisfaction

I have bought so far 4 items from the portal and I completely regret buying them. The quality of the items are not at all upto the mark especially with the high price margins they charge. Once the item is delivered to you and payment received by them, you can call them a 100 times for any technical or other help, they will not listen. Not really sure why they even have a Customer Support as they won't really support with anything. Worst after sales policy ever. Please consider other options before buying anything from their website.

They give the date of delivery, on date they don't do once delivery is done, now reach carpenter for getting the assemble but they come as per there time, once they come few parts are not delivered from. Pepper fry, Later u plac3 order no response, oversllllll worst service.

A dining table ordered on 8/8/2022 with full payment was confirmed for delivery by 8/9/2022. It wasn't delivered even on 9/9/2022 and no any updates. When I called customer care on 9/10/2022, they responded very carelessly that they cannot confirm any shipping date yet. When I asked why was I not informed about the delay, the customer care representative had the audacity to say it happens sometimes. When I asked to talk to supervisor or some higher authority, they said they will not transfer my call to anyone else. Pepper fry is a fraud company with no value for commitments. It does not care about customers' money and sentiments. I suggest people not to go for any purchases from this company because they need to be shown what happens if they do not stick to their own commitments.
I bought a wall clock and after multiple emails and requests for return since it was malfunctioning, my request was rejected by a very arrogant customer executive, Savita Das. The clock did not have a second hand and they wanted me to first send pictures which I did and then again video (15 mins to check if it is really not working) with 5 MB limit.
A simple return is impossible and my suggestion is to avoid Pepperfry at all cost.
Pepperfry gives false, wrong n misleading information on their site at the time of purchase and only after your hard earned money is gone n you receive delivery of the faulty half product you will understand u are cheated, then they will keep harassing you with same autogenerated messages that they will need more time to solve your problem. Theres no specific time frame also they will give because they have already got the money so why will they bother if you are suffering. Their motive is to earn profit only let the customer gets harrassed we will not cooperates. They will also delete your complaints from their page of they don't like it after two three days so that others can't see and keep purchasing. They send storage beds without base and expect you to store on the floor where as on site there's nothing mentioned n pics are with base only no where u can see u need to store on the floor. This is new way of scamming customers n customer care person Hari will keep sending u same mail that they need more time because in that meantime they will do the same with others My last complaint I can no longer find on their page so it's very clear what their intentions are *******398 this is my WhatsApp number I will warn Everyone to be very careful before buying from them else after spending your hard earned money you will have to again go to consumer court for complaint which is the last thing anyone would want.
