Over the past 3 months, my experience with BULL$#*! PEPPERFY company has been extremely distressing and disappointing.
From the very beginning, I was shown designs and given commitments that were never delivered. What was promised on paper and verbally has no resemblance to what was actually executed on site. The materials and workmanship used are far below what was agreed, clearly indicating cost-cutting and misrepresentation.
The team's conduct has been highly unprofessional—no ownership, no accountability, and complete disregard for timelines and client concerns. Repeated follow-ups were met with assurances that were consistently broken.
Despite the work still being incomplete after three months, the company has already collected ₹19 lakhs. The financial loss, mental stress, and disruption caused to my family have been severe and unacceptable.
This entire engagement has been a nightmare, and I strongly regret placing my trust in this company.
I am still awaiting:
A clear update on the actual status of work and a realistic completion timeline
Justification for the amount collected so far
Corrective action for poor quality work and deviations from approved designs
If this matter is not resolved immediately and transparently, I will have no option but to escalate it legally and through consumer forums and public platforms.

This is 1st time purchasing from peppery. We have order 2 of the same shoe cabinet. First a carpenter came and found out a board of the shoe cabinet was bigger and it must be cut to fit the cabinet. Then couple of days later another carpenter came to fix it and found out the drawer was not working properly. We asked him to raise a complaint, but later after talking to the customer care we found out that he has never raised the complaint and the case was closed as satisfied. To fix the second cabinet unfortunately the same carpenter came and was caught by us. He gave his supervisor number and the name of his supervisor is Mr. Jaiganesh. The supervisor confirmed us that he will take action and complete the work the following day. But it has been 1 week and he is not even picking the call. What should we do now. Isit wrong in our part to order from Pepperfry. Also we had raised the complaint to the customer care with the photos as well. But no action taken.
Recently I bought one solo dresser.
Few parts came broken. After thousand calls and emails they dod not agree to change the paths.
I had to call my own carpenter who bought a suitable part and somehow we are using it.
I do not suggest anyone to buy this.
Oh, Paperfry! The e-commerce site that thinks your home is their personal storage unit. They have a user base, but they have no clue what their delivery or service teams are up to. Delivery within 48 hours? More like 48 days, if you're lucky!
Need home decor? Save yourself the headache and buy from anywhere else, even if it costs a bit more. At least your purchase won't become a permanent fixture in your living room. Paperfry's motto: "Why unpack when our carpenter is out having a blast?" It's like they believe your home is a waiting room for their lazy workforce!
I ordered a bed on 18th May 2024 and still the order is pending, not yet delivered. The guys are just blaming customers. The bed came down at our building and the transportation guys saying we don't have manpower to climb 4 floors?. Such a cheap & pathetic service this company have. It's been 1 month now but still these guys are least interested about our order
I bought bed from pepperfry, which took 6 days for installation upon follow up of 100 times. They unpacked and left everything on the floor which occupied the entire room. Finally they could afford to arrange the carpenter at the cost of 100 folloups and calls. Then comes the actual issue. The mattreaa was not fitting the bed, so the issue started again. Did multiple follow ups and uploaded images but they wanted to arrange a carpenter for evidence. Which didn't happen yet. Still doing the followup. Also requested if they could replace instead of return. So guys think twice before you choose pepperfry. It was really a bad experience with my first purchase only. It is better to go to local store and get whatever we need. Better to opt Amazon which will have hassle free returns.
I had ordered a bean bag which came to me as a damaged product. Upon requesting an exchange I have only been receiving calls and no action is being taken. Do not recommend it at all!
Ordered blackout curtains which werent blackout at all. Ordered a bed which they promised was refundable in 48 hours and when we asked to cancel the order they said they charge 2.5% cancellation charge + the amount in the original source would be after 2 weeks.
Ordered sets of sofa cover and protectors to protect our 'pure leather sofa' that is now wearing out. But found that the product was useless for leather sofa and keeps sliding down the sofa so i initiated return within stipulated period if 7 days. Shockingly pepperfry rejected the return on account of very silly t &c without caring to engage me in and without explanation. They dont even care. I wrote to cust sevice 3 times, they sent same copy paste reply without explanation and just directing me to FAq. Very pathetic and useless service. No photos to add as the product isnt suitable so they find no reason to accept the return.
Recently I purchased jhula (swing bench) from Pepperfry, Neeladri Road, E City, Bangalore. While purchasing, surprised to see that we need to put our login credential on their device for making payments. This is too riskly.
Anyways, my point is different.
1. With in one month, found big crack at Jhula bench. When approached them, they refused replacement saying no warranty on this product.
2. Accessories for fitment of Jhula were not matching with Jhula. Pepperfry refused to do installation as it was self-assemble category. I had to call carpenter and do it my doing few carpentry work
3. Few products at pepperfry are not under threir own brand. They have tie-up with few local substandard brand and unfortunately my product fall into tie-up local brand. In such case, you are gone. I don't know what criteria they follow to select such third party?
I have brought 3 fancy lights hanging from PEPPERFRY and they have delivered only 2. When asked they say they have proofs that 3 were packed. So frustrating. Have sent many mails along with pictures and videos of the unboxing the package and had plenty of conversations with the team. Apart from a sad annoying "SORRY" they have nothing else to say or do. Never thought a well-established company to have such bad service. Keep up the good work. Soon you'll lose the market.

Product received is smaller in size than the image shown in the portal. Informed for return and the company wanted image and that also was done. Received email and I quote below:
"... we would need 2-3 images/ video of the product with measuring tape. While taking these photographs, please ensure the below image guidelines:
Images should show the entire product and zoomed-in on the product concern (damage/defective area)
The Images should be of high resolution, within 5MB and JPEG format.
For video, the size should be within 24MB and in MP4 format."
Unquote: On a call with the support team members, the above policy was reiterated, making the return difficult.
I ordered 1 seater sofa cover, 2 pieces. They only sent one piece. I raised a return online ans all I get is email response. Noone has followed up to give resolution. I'm stuck with no refund. So i paid for two items and got just one and they've left it at that. It's months now. Haven't received refund nor have I got response to my request that they just send another sofa cover even if it's different colour or pattern. Do not buy from them. They have year round sale but their price after sale is as high or even higher than other sellers. They're just duping customers.
Hi we purchased king size cot and 5seater sofa through online paperfey.com...paying huge money expected it will be very good because paperfry branding...but everything is worng after receiving the product we came to knowvot is giving lots of noice if we sit also lots of notices are coming and sofa is very bad condition not at all comfortable...when we spoke to the customer care they sent carpenter and sofa installation person to check...both have informed the quality of the product is very bad please return paperfry technician him self confirm that qeakity of the product very bad and they confirmed that if u buy from online 3rd party will diliver your product...it's waste of money another 3month u r cot will give lots of problem...he informed us...when we spoke paperfry customer care they clearly denied they will help us...and products refund will not happen...it's so hurthing because with lots of expectations and trust we buy products from paperfry...buy result is we loose our money...we are very disappointed by our decision please u please don't buy anything from paperfry.com
It has been more than 15-20 days now I have complained to pepperfry about the inferior quality of sofa received.sofa does not the required amount of cushion filed in it and the wooden structure in the sofa is easily felt to body when resting on it.this sofa is not of the required standard quality.i have already complaint about this yo company multiple times now along with the photo & video.but company service representative is not moving ahead with the solution point of view but just kept asking for phota and video always. The issue is stuck here only and no movement ahead.i am being looted by pepperfry with approx 15k substandard sofa received. I want refund and do not want to buy any product from pepperfry again and will not recommend anyone to pepperfry in future.
I Have Glasses from Pepperfry, got some breakages but they are not been replaced or refunded it. There is a fake replacement policy.
Pepperfry has delivered a Defective product queen size bed from Raidurgam Studio Hyderabad.
