I first learned about Pelican Parts from the Bimmerforums community way back in the early/mid 2000's. They were a great source for technical articles on how to do just about anything. They've also always been a great source for parts. As long as I drive something European, I'll go to Pelican.

Great bunch of People!

I have been using Pelican Auto Parts for several years now and the service has always been great! Five years ago I purchased a rebuilt 5 speed manual Transmission for my 2002 Mini Cooper due to the tranny shop not honoring their own warranty. The Transmission came with a 2 year warranty which I have never had to use which is Great!
I will not, in the foreseeable future use any other supplier for my Automotive needs.

Horrible service

Ordered a cai for my bmw that was supposed to take 3 days to get to me but i didnt receive it till 2 months later. I personally will never shop with this company again. I Had one person in customer service that actually could get me info on my order. Very on composed company!

The wright part

If you are looking for a Porsche parts this is the place to get it and it will be the wright part the first time. I have used them for a long time for parts and have never had a problem, The staff will work with you on your project what ever it may be and help you find the parts that you need.

In regards to Pelican Auto Parts (pelicanparts.com) I have been using them for the past 8 years without any problems. While in Alabama we had the first Mini Cooper there. I would try scheduling work and the first question would be "what's a Mini"? Thanks to Pelican Parts and their videos I was able to do most of the work myself. When we had the Transmission rebuilt and it failed after 3 months, the mechanic refused to honor his own warranty, I bought a "Re manufactured" transmission from Pelican Parts, this was 5 years ago and the Tranny is still working as good as new. Without Pelican Parts I would be up the creek, without the proverbial paddle! Thanks for your help!

Order Problems resolved
October 25, 2020

I order six items on Oct. 6,2020 and, while the shipment arrived on time, there were two problems.
1. My order for CHF 11S synthetic oil was not included, even though it said it was on the invoice.
2. I ordered 4 hose clamps 40-60 mm, what was shipped were 4 42-48 mm hose clamps.
I had to use my old clamps, and wanted to return the ordered clamps of the wrong size.
I called the toll-free number on thr bill of sale to complain, they said all well be taken care of.
Nothing happened,
I then emailed my complaint, and still nothing happened.
Then I got on this website and found The Vice President of eCommerce for Palican Parts LLC.
Michael Morita. I emailed my complaint to Michael. Now I got their attention.
I received an email from Michael saying Stacy Williams, the Consumer Service Supervisor, will take care of my complaint. She emailed me saying my CHF 11S fluid will be shipped and to keep the hose clamps.
I did receive my fluid promply.
Thank you Michael for your handling of this situation.

Distinctly Great!

I consider Pelican Parts as a complete source for European car parts, especially for having the original equip every time, priced nicely, shipping that's prompt without goofy cost, and always a very good-working website experience.
A pop-up that appeared when perhaps a question might need to be answered as I searched was a plus.

I've been using Pelican for parts on my Porsches (2007 997 & 2006 Cayman S) for years now and they never fail. Always better pricing than the competition or my mechanic and deliveries are timely, well packed and always correct.

Horrendous company

Horrendous experience. Their website says the parts were in stock but they're not. Gave me run around for 2 weeks. Had to cancel. WORST customer service as well. Just put you on hold for 20 to 40 min at a time with zero resolve.

A great resource for old car parts with very friendly and professional customer service that is always just a phone call away. When anything unexpected happens, they'll go extra miles to make it right, including splitting or combining orders, free shipping for the parts that are on backorder etc. The only thing to wish for is to be able to ship what they have to Canada for less :)

I have used Pelican parts in the past for Porsche and BMW parts never had a problem always the rite part and fast service. They have the part in stock when no one else did and at a great price. If you need to call them there customer service is first class. As i said before i will always come back. Someone you can trust and these days that BIG.

It all started with an online inquiry I made regarding the order of spare parts for my Mercedes-Benz 280E. I was amazed at the quick and professional responses I received from a team of, whom I consider, is highly trained and qualified personnel at the company. These events took place in a period between 23 June 2020 and 26 June 2020, the time I placed my order of the items after I had been lucidly and promptly quoted for the items I had requested from them. The charges were clearly laid down including the shipping cost. Nothing was hidden from me! I thus made my decision to remit the money with a very clear mind and conscious of what I had to do.
As soon as I had placed my order, the items were packaged and forwarded to my country, Zambia, which is several hundreds of kilometres away from the United States of America. In spite of the distance, I felt very much at ease and liberty to deal with this company regarding the purchase of the items I needed. It is one company I would very strongly recommend to anyone who would want to do business online with. Their item tracking system carries one along from the start, through all destinations the item passes, to the final delivery point! I have no regrets to have known this company with which I will remain doing business whenever need arises.

Received order complete - however, in this period of "plastic bag shippers" where more and more companies use the absolute minimum of packing materials with the often result of damaged, squashed, loose parts in a shipping bag, Pelican stands out. My three parts arrived boxed (in the correct size box, BTW) with the right amount of crushed paper padding, well placed. The box was securely taped and as you are aware a Bill of Sale enclosed. Even the bill of sale deserves comment - not just a part number and price, but a description of each part... using complete words, not code or abbreviations. Making a long story longer... please take the time to thank the team member that picked, packed, and shipped this order - and whomever did the original layout/design of your paperwork. A job well done from start to finish that, yes, was appreciated down to the paper padding. OK, I normally don't get excited about the packaging - but the same day I received two other orders that were barely intact because of cheap and poorly executed packing materials. The "Pelican Difference" was clear. Thanks again.

I had a number of front and rear suspension parts- end links. I wanted to replace on my 1998 Bmw 318ti. After looking at a number of online parts suppliers. I happen to come across Pelican online. Wow, what an eye opener in reference to price point, in stock and shipment.

They touched on all three key points for me.

With the covid epidemic in full swing. I had experienced shipment delays and out of stock posting from other national online parts providers after placing online orders.

Example of Pelican good customer service. I placed a parts order with a nationally televised online parts company. 4 days prior to placing my first order with Pelican. I figured the parts would arrive 2-3 after the competitors orders.

That wasn't the case. My order with Pelican arrived 2 days after my order. A full 4 days ahead of the competition. The Pelican order had all of the parts in a simple and well packaged box.

I'm converting my next online orders to Pelican moving forward.

They get it done with no excuses or shipment delays.

Thanks Pelican for welcoming me to the team. Excellence should be rewarded.
