Because i cancelled it instead of them, even though i cancelled the same day it "renewed"

I downloaded the trial & paid $1.95. It did not work for me. So I canceled prior to the charge. But they still charged my card $49.95. I contacted them via chat bot. I explained what happened & they refunded me $45 of the $45.95. Evidently this service is mostly for businesses. The chat bot was very helpful.

They will offered a great price at the beginning with a subscription behind as a ghost. DO NOT BUY IT. They will charge even more of what they say at the start point without your consent. When you request a cancellation they will tell you everything was told at the beginning of the purchase. Not true, it only says at 14 days trial and pay for the first service as I did.

When you signed up, you began a 14-day trial that automatically converts into the standard $49.95 monthly subscription unless canceled within that trial period. Since no cancellation was made during those 14 days, the subscription remained active and charges occurred as outlined in the terms presented at sign-up. We also sent a payment receipt to your email on the day you signed up, which included the agreed terms, in case you did not review them during sign-up.
It’s important to note that no charges are ever made “unknowingly.” Payment details must be entered and confirmed by the user before activating the trial, and the terms—including the monthly fee—are clearly disclosed. In addition, we also offer a free option where documents can be received after 24 hours free of charge.
Finally, there is never any need to cancel or replace your card. Subscriptions can be managed and canceled directly through your account settings at any time, or with assistance from our support team, who are always available to help ensure your request is processed quickly and smoothly.

I called to cancel the initial plan but Alexander Lambis, the rep, gave me a better price since it is only me using PDFSimpli for e-sign. I got a much better price. I will try it out for a month and see how it goes but the rep answered the phone quickly and helped me out. Thank you Alexander!

I accessed this service to convert 1 document. I was in a high-stress situation, so some responsibility could be laid with my frame of mind. I thought I was paying a one-off fee (of £1.95) for 14 days' access. However, somehow I'd missed the very small print that I was in fact signing up to a £49.95 monthly subscription. To make matters worse, I did not receive an email to acknowledge that I had subscribed, so I was unaware untuiol the payment left my PayPal account. I emailed PDFSimpli, and they did not offer any refund. SO I had to contact my bank and PayPal, which took a considerable amount of time and effort. To put things right PDFSimpli could have easily refunded me, but chose not to; it was obvious from my 'account' activity I used it once and never revisited the site. I won't be recommending this service to anyone.

When you signed up, an email confirmation was automatically sent to the address provided at checkout, clearly outlining the subscription details, including the auto-renewal terms. For your convenience, we’ve taken the liberty of forwarding a copy of that confirmation to you so you can review it.
Our service is subscription-based, and charges are not determined by usage. Customers are required to cancel their subscription before the renewal date to avoid additional charges. Refunds are not withheld because of lack of usage — they need to be explicitly requested.
In your case, since the cancellation was done directly through PayPal, that action blocked our access to your account, which prevents us from processing any refund directly. If you would like to move forward with a refund, the next step is to contact PayPal to drop the dispute and reinstate communication between your PayPal account and our billing system. Once that is done, please email us at [email protected] letting us know the account has been restored, and our support team will gladly assist with processing a refund.
If you had already submitted a refund request to us directly, our team would have attempted to process it and informed you whether it was successful or if additional steps with PayPal were required.
