Would give zero if I could, Wouldn't recommend. Stay away. Packages take forever... The tracking is false, they literally had it by my house then sent it back two hours away just to delay it by two more days... Never using them again or any company associated with these guys. STAY AWAY.
It been pass the date I'm supposed to get my package and I keep looking at the tracking but it's hasn't changed since Saturday and it's Wednesday now the tracking says my package is literally in the next state down which is a 6 hour drive from where I live it should not take 4days to update I also
Ordered another package and it will come before this one I'm very upset and disappointed horrible service
I avoided international sales because of the headache of customs forms and shipping costs...
When ebay started handling all the red tape, it seemed awesome. Until I found out that I was unable to opt out.
Ebay uses pitney bowes, which I knew nothing about. I'd soon learn.
My 3rd international sale, using ebay system, has been a nightmare.
The package made it to Alberta Canada where it was "mis-sorted" on September 27.
It is now October 12, and there have been no further updates.
PB will not take inquiries or complaints, instead directing you to ebay.
Ebay is not trying to locate the package or question its whereabouts, instead they tell me that i won't have to refund the buyer, they will.
Great, but the buyer doesn't want a refund. He wants his package, as it was a one of a kind gift for his daughter.
No one seems to be concerned with what happened to this medium sized box...I mean, it didn't fall behind a chair.
I'd rather close my ebay acct than ever ship with an international carrier again, since customer service is nonexistent and theft is common
Should have known when it took 4 calls to get someone to speak to me to get signed up. It went down hill from there. One sales person reached out then never followed up. The next one followed up signed us up, then forgot about us. I had to track them down to get the actual equipment. Never received the full paperwork. The Install tech was actually fabulous. The equipment has been horrible. We immediately discovered was not a good fit, reached out to the sales person and was told oh it's perfect for you it just needs a software update. Queue a year and a half later, multiple times a day of software updates, zero scale issues, paper jam issues, and non existent help and numerous tears we're stuck with the devil machine. Just spent over an hour speaking to 4 representatives hoping to downgrade to reduce the amount of errors we fought through only to find out they want to charge more. We've been trying since day 2 of receive the machine. They waited until the last moment to inform us that it'd be more. I have never been more disappointed or frustrated with a company. My coworker handled multiple billing and service issues in the time I failed to rectify 1 phone call with Pitney Bowes. We are paying for stamps at the post office to have a pricey scale sit in our office rather than fight with the thing. I'd recommend any other solution. They used to be a great company I don't know what happened but this has been the worst I've ever dealt with.
I ordered such small and simple things as vitamins online from target.com, which could have easily been shipped by USPS but instead that place shipped my package through pitney bowes, now fearing the worst with several bad experiences with that company where it took five months to receive my package and months of other delayed packages where I lost hope of ever receiving, now that I know that target.com uses pitney bowes as one of there shipping partner, I will never be placing a order online from target again.
I always order my scrubs from figs and never had any problem with the shipment in the past but since they switched to this Pitney Bowes, my package has just been bouncing back and forth from US to Canada every day. You call their customer service, they don't even know what's going on. I ended up cancelling all my items because I can no longer stand the frustration and stress I was getting. So, yeah we're not purchasing anything from FIGS anymore until they change the carrier which is Pitney Bowes!
This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Cannot talk to a live person. Owe me money?
I attempted to add postage via the website. It spun forever and I guess timed out so no postage was added. I went to the machine to add postage. The default amount was set at $200. A couple of months ago, Pitney Bowes told me that a 1% or $1.00 minimum overage fee was added to my bill because I refilled at $200 rather than the threshold set for my machine of $150. Knowing that I didn't want to pay an overage fee (or blood money), I changed the amount to $150. There was never a message that the postage was added so I entered the $150 again and got a confirmation - a confirmation that $300 had been added. I immediately try to contact Pitney Bowes and have spent the last 2.5 hrs chatting and they still couldn't fix it. I've wasted more money trying to get help than to just pay the overage fee. Novel idea - they ding you every single opportunity they get. I have one question - I can certainly see there being a charge for not adding a minimum amount, but why in the world would a company want to charge for adding more than a minimum amount except to steal money from companies. I strongly suggest walking away from Pitney Bowes if you possibly can. Unfortunately, the person previously in my role signed us up for a 60 month lease. Now Pitney Bowes has opportunity to make my life miserable for the next 3.5 yrs. Oh joy!
If you get suckered into buying one of their machines and get a lease you are screwed. I would advise not doing business with them
My situation was not addressed over the phone, and they don't bother responding to our emails.
They phone us endlessly when they want to sell us their service and extend our lease, and now that we need help you never ever respond.
Zero star for there worst service
I suggest not to take any service from them there is lot more options you can find better than them like
Anytime I have ever had a package shipped to me thru Pitney Bowes, it has taken weeks to be received. And they rarely update the tracking info, usually the day it miraculously appears. Worse shipping company!
Package is coming from Chicago to Detroit, it's a 4 hour drive. They let it sit in Illinois for 3 days. Then it went to Columbus to sit some more. It's supposed to be here today on the 10th day, but it's not looking likely. Pathetic.
My package was supposed to be delivered in 3-5 business days and it has now been 2 weeks with no tracking updates. The second package arrived within 3 business days with no problem, and was shipped on the exact same day from the same warehouse, just with a different carrier company. Ridiculous! There have been no tracking updates in over a week, and that update showed it was departing from a town 2 states over, which does not take over a week. Will never use again.
They are impossible to get in touch with, won't return calls, won't respond to emails and require you to open a case for any issues. Then, 20 days later they close the case with no contact or help. They've charged our business twice for the same items, charged erroneous late fees and are generally terrible to work with. If you can find a better place to work with, please, please do yourself a favor and stay away from PB.
Do not recommend. They have horrible customer service, do not get back with you to help with your problems.
I've been in business in our local market (Western Canada) for over 25 years. To date - this is the worst vendor i've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Unrealistic, predatory contract practices, unbelievably bad communcation.
I'm sorry but this has to be the worst shipping company there is I ship a package on the 25th. Of Aug. To a APO ADDRESS and it still floating around in Texas. It use to go from Houston Texas to Chicago then to my APO address when it was UPS.
I am so disappointed that Books-A-Million started using Pitney Bowes as a shipping partner. It adds up to five days to the shipping time. I hope BAM is saving a lot of money because their customers are not pleased.
I ordered shoes for my kids for going back to school. I am a single mom with 4 kids and 1 income. They got shipped through this company and they never arrived. So I called the company to get help and I got cussed out and hung up on. They hung up on my 3 times. It's been a month since the estimated delivery date and still nothing. The site changed the estimated delivery date from the date to "on its way". And I have not got an update on my order for weeks. They don't answer calls. They are VERY unprofessional and have really terrible customer service. They won't let me know where the shoes are. All I was told is that they were "probably stolen by an employee". They are an absolute garbage company. I now am out school shoe money and my kids have to wear their old shoes that barely fit because the only money I had for school shoes was spent and then quite possibly stolen "by an employee". $#*! this company.
Answer: I didn't. The company I ordered from uses them. I would not choose to ship through Pitney Bowes.
Answer: They are a scam they are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
