We received our tilt umbrella - looks great, works perfectly and at a great price. We noticed a cord extending thru a pulley - which is apparently not supposed to be there. We contacted the company and were told that we would be receiving a brand new umbrella. This company has exceptional customer service. We received a prompt response to our inquiry and are more than satisfied with their service. Would recommend them to everyone.

I ordered 5 umbrellas from this company and one was shipped broken. I have sent over 75 emails to this company and several phone calls. They refuse to send out an new umbrella. I have offered to send the broken one back and they want me to pay $40.00 for shipping to return there broken product. There customer service is horrible and there products are very low quality. I finally ended up disputing the charges with my charge card company and you will to. STAY AWAY THERE A FLY BY NIGHT COMPANY AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I will be posting all my emails between me and patio sun umbrellas so everybody can see what kind of company this really is.

I purchased and received my yellow cantilever umbrella quickly.
Upon assembly (trivial) I discovered that one of the two support pole tension knobs did not enter into the support shaft to secure the (inner) umbrella pole.The screw hole had not been drilled all the way through and/or the outer nut that was welded on to add hole depth was a tiny bit off center.
I emailed the company and explained the situation and offered to mail back the 20 inch vertical support pole. They asked for pictures of the 3/4 inch nut/hole to better understand my written explanation. I complied. After a very short interim they informed me that they would send a new umbrella. I thought the email had a typo and they meant just the support pole. They sent a complete umbrella (with a fully functioning support pole this time)!

I recently ordered an a Patio Sun Umbrella on line. I was very excited to have received it so quickly! Upon receipt of my new umbrella, I was very disappointed to find that it had been damaged in shipping, The handle was broken off. I took a couple of pictures of the packaging and the handle and emailed it to Patio Sun Umbrella. They responded within one day and have shipped me a replacement umbrella already. I don't even have to return the old one. It is wonderful to find this kind of customer service today! I look forward to using my new umbrella for many summers to come!

I ordered an umbrella from this company. Considering that they list their location as Anaheim, California, I assumed I was dealing with an America company. In fact they shipped the umbrella from Canada. Once I got the umbrella I determined that it was very flimsy and not at all what I wanted so I decided to take advantage of their "30 day money back guarantee". When I requested information to return the umbrella they told me that I had to ship it back to Canada at my expense to obtain credit. Sounds reasonable but when I went to ship it back I found that the cost was 50% of what I had paid for the product. This is because it was going to Canada, instead of the US. I found them to be shady and would not recommend this company in any way. The product was very cheaply made and the return policy is horrible. Lesson learned!
