Ordered a taillight bulb for a Honda it came quick and what was expected, 2nd order was for an in stock item a license plate bracket for a Yamaha again it was listed in stock so I purchased it... The next day got an email saying eta changed an would be sent Sept. That was 5 months away from the order date then another email saying it would be here next month and they keep switching around days in the same week on when it's expected to arrive! I woulda appreciated honesty if it was out of stock I wouldn't have ordered the item

Any other status, i.e. “One Business Day” or ships in "2 to 3 days" is an estimate of the lead time from the manufacturer, whose location is usually one day shipping from us. Unfortunately, the manufacturers do not provide us with live availability, in an electronic format, that would allow us to better communicate lead time to customers. Product that we do not stock, we order from the manufacturer within one business day of the customer’s order. Our first notification of any delay from the manufacturer is after we have ordered the product from them due to us pre-purchasing the item from the manufacturer to preserve the customer's place in line to receive the item. Once notified of any back order, we adjust the customer’s ETA, and promptly send an email. During this time, the customer has the option to cancel.

I had ordered several parts and a drive chain for a motorcycle and when they showed up there was no master link for chain. I replied in a survey that i was disappointed there was no link. I thought that would be the end of it but i received a phone call from a customer service rep who saw my comment and he offered to send me a master link. I was surprised and grateful. I didnt think anyone ever followed up on those reviews. Way to go Partzilla!
