This is the first review I have ever written but I knew I needed to say something. The customer service today was the first I hve ever seen. They were so rude at Party city in Dunwoody! I was just trying to buy a few balloons and it took over an hour. They would barely help me and there was only 1 other customer in the store. As I was finishing filling out the form about 10 other customers got in line. I said I was done and then they told me now I needed to get in line. They didn't smile, we're not nice, and not professional at all.
First off I would like to say THANK GOD FOR BO! This Youngman listened to my needs and got me taken care of rite away. Federal way Party store Great Job Bo!

I went there to pick up a number one balloon from my grandson's first birthday party. They said I had to pay for the balloon before they could blow it up so I paid for it and then they told me I had to wait 4 hours.
To get it blown up.
Very disappointed so I will go somewhere else to buy balloons.
Today was a very special day due to a 'long distance' gender reveal. My son is in the military, so he's at Fort Bliss, TX. This afternoon my daughter in law called in to let this P.C. Know to get a gender reveal box ready. But, she was told that someone needs to come in, pay first then let an associate know the gender as boy or girl, then they'd fill in the proper balloon to the box. So my husband went at 4:30 pm today, 2/26th and connected with the PC associate, Miles - then he got our son on the phone to tell Miles the gender, A BOY! When my husband got home, I had set up to record the priceless moment! And so we proceeded to capture this very special moment on video. We opened the box to a PINK, IT'S A GIRL balloon that popped out of the box! We were thrilled either way, so fun to know this way. HOWEVER we soon found out that Miles, who must have the attention span of 5 minutes, PUT IN THE WRONG balloon! UNBELIEVABLE! We cannot get this special, video captured moment back! Can you imagine if this had been in front of an entire group, or even just the parents, the being led in the wrong direction for months?! We DO NOT recommend trusting this Party City for ANY order, let alone for something so precious as a gender reveal! Judging by previous reviews, WHY is this location even still in business?!
For an organization that sells their products at such a high price they should have adequate staffing and better customer service. It's is unacceptable that there is only 1 cashier and no self checkout stations.

They refused to blow up the helium balloons I bought from them. Or at least my Party city doesn't (Sault Ste Marie)
Bought two balloon bouquets filled with helium. Two days later most of them dead on the floor-just in time for the party. Waste of money. That Party Place's balloon bouquets last for a month. Won't make the mistake of shopping at Party City again. Junk.
I called to cancel order I placed online 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. They require you call to cancel an order, which seems like a scam in retrospect. I was told my oder was canceled, that I would NOT be receiving an email confirming cancelation, and that I'd receive a refund in 72 hrs. Instead, I received my order and it wasn't even delivered during the original delivery time! So yeah, don't try to cancel an online order and expect a refund. OR try demanding confirmation in writing.
Ok, Party City, here's what I think of your lame balloons, they stink and they suck and they never should be available for customers, including April Franklin so if you order some more balloons, your business is gonna be shut down by the city and you punks oughta be sorry for making balloons! And if I see one more balloon I am so gonna sue this place for a million dollars!
I had an issue with a costume that I paid extra to have guaranteed shipping and delivery to arrive by a certain date. Not only was the package shipped 4 days later than it had guaranteed but the package never arrived. When I took it up with their customer service online, they were unable to do ANYTHING expect tell me to contact the postal service. Terrible customer service rep + experience. Will not be shopping / ordering from them again.
Prices for Halloween costumes are crazy like $70 dollars for a costume we only wear once is insane.So party city if you want to keep your customers then you better lower the prices to reasonable prices like $15 to $30 with taxes. So either fix it and give us these kinds of prices or lose all your Business the choice is yours better make the one that will keep you in business.

This Hikes Point Plaza store in Louisville offers curbside pick up, which is great for a parent of a child with special needs. However the service is horrible. After the store texted ready for pickup, we sat in the parking lot for 35 mins calling and texting and no one picked up. I ended up having to bring my child into the store to let them know we were out waiting. The manager responded they were really busy in the store and would not be able to bring the balloons out to us. I had to wait in line and get my order myself. If you offer curbside pickup, then don't make it optional only when it's convenient for the staff. This store is so unmanaged, I wouldn't go back. I'll drive somewhere else. They had 7 people behind the desk
Yesterday I was looking online for a costume after many weeks. Finally found one and put it on hold for tomorrow, then the next day we drove 45 minutes for the costume and they said, Sorry someone else already had it on hold and bought it yesterday. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US BEFORE WE DROVE 45 MINUTES?!?! Stupid AF. Do NOT recommend.
I buy I lost my receipt but I have the account and the product I send everything to customer service and I call like 8 time every time everybody there said not worry you received you money back. Past 2 month and never received nothing. I lie to me. I explain everything many times never resolved the situation. The party city have bad customer service for the client..

I'm reviewing the party city location in Mississauga Vega Blvd. If i could give a zero star i would. This is the worst place to buy online... the system is a complete failure and the customer is non existent! I placed an online order and didn't receive a confirmation however the payment was withdrawn from my account. I called to ask about my order and explained how I didn't receive a confirmation for pick up and was told they were having problems so they had to check, she came back and told me that because the order was just sitting there for a week ( which it wasn't, it has been three days since i placed the order) they decided to cancel it and refund me which will take a while for me to get my refund. I asked her why no one contacted me and they had no response. Terrible customer service and I will never shop in store or online at any of their locations Again!

Answer: There are many locally owned smaller party stores that are always cheaper and the service is better most of the time. No long waits and if they don't have what you need they can order it.
