I ordered photo mylar balloons for my son's 16th Birthday and their website wouldn't center the pic. It kept moving it to the side of the balloon. I tried to fix it many times but it wouldn't center. I finally put the order in so that I can speak to someone and make sure the pic would be centered as I'm sure they can see it wasn't once they received the order. I sent an email to their customer service right away but no one responded back. I finally called two days later and they had processed the order as is which was incorrect. It was their system flaw and charged me the full amount and wouldn't fix the order.

It takes 15 min to get through to anyone on the phone. When you do, they are not helpful at all. I would never order from this site again!

False Advertisement

Ordered items advertised as buy one get one 50% off. Site only gives 50% off items in multiple after the most expensive item. Supv stated that was company policy. My item was $13.99. Discounted second item should have been $6.99. She told me the difference was $3.00. Hello! Basic math.
Never on line for this company again.

Dont order online

I ordered custom invites and it said give up to 5 days at warehouse if you are getting something custom which is fine by me. It has been 6 days and I havent seen anything about them being shipped out yet and I spent over $50 on these and needed them for the end of this month! Hopefully they get sent out soon! Takes customer service long to email back plus from other reviews I hear if you call its just all robot voices! I dont mind the store, but probably wont order online again.

Racism

My daughter who is 17 worked at this Party City and the general manager is very racist as hell she intentionally cut my daughters hours her and another girl (Same race) when my daughter asked her about it she took more of her hours away for no reason... She has been nothing but trouble since she came to the Parmer Lane store in Austin Texas... the staff are afraid of her and she bring her kids to work with her as well which is annoying to other customers her name is Nancy Pittaluga and she does not like black people. Ive even spoke to her as a customer at another location and she does not know how to talk to people. She has been hinting to my daughter for the past few weeks that she is going to find any reason to fire her... my daughter comes to work on time every day that she is scheduled and does what she is supposed to do... I wouldnt want to work with a manager like this and just thought that people should know because my daughter is not the only one who has been affected by her behavior

I spent considerabe time on ordering goods for 2 parties I am having. Payment was accepted. I then got an email from a "do-not reply" address telling me my order had been cancelled as it had been determined to be "high risk"which I thought must be a joke- its paper goods mostly. I found a contact number and again sent asking for an explanationa to how what I ordered could be high risk unless they sell dangerous goods. Their reply was they couldn't tell me anything other than my order is considered high risk. The manager of customer service training at Party should be fired and find

Some people to train their team with some common courtesy sense.And they ned to answer the question what are they selling that is so high
Risk- fit know birthday parties had become such a dangerous business! And they have not refunded my money.

I have placed an order on feb 26 2018 jars for my wedding and they arrive broken is now May 1st and I cant get a decent response about the items that need to be replaced. Waste of time calling the customer service line because they just keep redirecting your call to a different department. And you don't even deserve an star

Way too expensive. The only reason I kept coming here was because the old manager was a very nice and professional old man. The new manager is this very rude old lady, who expects you to immediately find what you want and chases you around the store, basically kicking you out of the place.

Seriously, just go to Target. It's literally right behind this place and you can find everything you can here over there, but way cheaper. I would not recommend this store, I won't be going here ever again. Visit only if you like unprofessionalism and nasty attitudes!

Make a purchase online 3/30/18 for a total of 128.45 and they charged my card a second time and said it was my banks fault. Its impossible to speak to an agent... i would not be ordering offline again i would advise you dont as well

If you risk it and order online from Party City. Watch your account. They charged me twice and deny it blaming on my bank. You cannot reach a real person. You go on a wild goose chase and get recordings that never give you an option to talk to someone. If you email them, they stop responding after they tell you it's the banks fault. They told me my bank is just holding my money until they release it. That is absurd. My bank of 34 years tells me that they are lying. That Party City has submitted two charges for the same amount. My bank is taking action against them for the erroneous charge. What a waste of time. NEVER again!

Terrible work!

On November 17,2017 I stopped by a Party City store #6001 in West Roxbury, MA to buy a party balloon for a birthday party for a 6-year old boy. By the time I returned home just 1 hour later the balloon got deflated! Terrible quality of work, you have destroyed the party! Shame on you! The purchase happened at noon time. Those responsible must be punished and this store closed!

I know they expand their staff around Halloween, but they need to be more selective about who the put on the phones. I called to place an order and ask about a discount that was not being applied to my online order. The guy berated me for not reading the fine print at the bottom of the page, refused to look up the items I was asking about, and then told me I should not be driving while talking to him.

When I told him his customer service is terrible, he told me he is not in customer service he is in the order processing department. When I told him I would report his poor attitude, he responded "I hope you do."

I placed my order elsewhere and will not bother with Party City in the future as it was a waste of time and energy. Train your people man!

Pricey but good

Party City is a good place to get Halloween essentials and Birthday essentials, but it's a little over priced. If they lowered their pricing a little, I believe they could make a killing on sales.

*******925 is the number to party city customer service, but they are horrible.
I spoke to Supervisor Charolette and she was rude. I ordered a TODDLER costume and received a Boys Small. She kept telling me that I was stuck on the word toddler and I should have looked at the boys sizes. After her continuing to argue with me, she says we obviously have differences of opinion. Really?!
1 is far too much of a high rating :(

Horrible experience

I placed an order on 10/13/17. Though they took payment immediately, I was informed that the could not provide 2 items I ordered. It is now 10/27/17, and I still don't have a refund for those items (though I was told it would go back on my card in 3-5 business days). Now they will not respond to my emails. I should have shopped at Wal Mart. They carry the exact items for 1/2 The price.

For 2 days in a row, I made an online purchase with a will call at different locations, since each store had different inventory of what I needed. Both times, when I drove to the store to pick up my order, the orders were incomplete because they were out of stock of some of the items. Not only does their online inventory not match what the stores have; no one at the store called to tell me it was unavailable.

We went to pick up balloons that were supppsed to be ready for 11am (said so on the receipt) for a party at noon. Not only were they not ready but the employee that mumbled all of his words said o well we just saw an order for 150 balloons that we did not know about so your going to have to wait at least an hour. Well, you knew about our order right?! Whatever, canceled the order and was told to get a refund. When the clerk was refunding the balloon order, he did not refund the whole order. When questioned, he said o well you have these charges on here and I don't know what they are. The only thing purchase was napkins and balloon and the napkins sure didn't cost the $30 additional $ that were in question. We asked to speak to the manager and he said I am the manager and I did not take your order. The MANAGER of the store couldn't read the receipt?! Also, he kept trying to pass blame by saying I didn't take your order?! Is that what all managers are taught at Party City?! This was the last incident that put me over the top. There has been so many other incidents that I just bite my tongue until I get out of there. I will never ever shop at that location again. It can't be that hard to show some professionalism, can it?!
