PartsGeek Reviews Summary

The company has garnered a predominantly negative reputation among customers, primarily due to significant issues with order accuracy and return processes. Many reviews highlight frustrations over receiving incorrect parts and the subsequent difficulty in obtaining refunds, with customers often bearing return shipping costs for errors not of their making. Additionally, the customer service experience is frequently described as inadequate, characterized by long wait times and unhelpful responses. While some customers noted prompt delivery of the correct items, the overall sentiment reflects a lack of reliability and support, leading to a strong recommendation to seek alternative suppliers.

Part was not made to oem specs. Bolt holes would not line up. Parts geek wanted me to pay return shipping on their mis-made part. As a doctor I know ethical vs unethical. I would never do business with them again.

First off, I own and operate a three man shop in a small community so we purchase parts from many different local and order/ship places. Stay with me here, read on please, I needed a radiator and charge air cooler for a large Ford truck and was having a problem tracking down parts so I end up at parts geek. I have never ever, ever dealt with such a jackass company in my life. My business has a post office box for mail and billing, and we have a physical address to ship to. These A holes, after two days decide nope, we ain't going to send the parts because billing and shipping address are different. So you basically cannot talk to a person and straighten anything out,, email them, and maybe they will respond. Anyway I have to change my address on our company credit card of 15 YEARS. To match our physical address then my cc company had to get a hold of them for a three way call sit on hold forever. Finally they decide to ship my parts. Then comes the real rub, THEY MAILED MY PARTS TO MY ORIGINAL MAIL/BILLING ADDRESS and guess what, mailing 120 lbs. in a big box your parts become damaged junk.

This may not be everyone's experience. But I ordered this part for my 2010 Scion XB. They sent me a completely different part. They still advertise this as fits to a 2010 Scion XB. I requested a replacement for my car. But I was only able to get a return RMA. And I will have to pay shipping. Basically, I am having to pay for the shipping of an item that was incorrectly sent to me. I reached out to the customer service. They picked up after I waited 15 minutes on the phone. And, the person simply said " we do not provide pre-paid shipping labels" and hung up on me.

My advice: Avoid from this company.

I order two new sets of calipers for my Jeep Wrangler, plus a bunch of other items for the front suspension. Everything arrived in a reasonable amount of time. There was a question about the order and I contact PartsGeek and I get an e-mail that they are looking into it. Then I get an e-mail that a return authorization will be arriving by e-mail. I don't want to return anything. Almost a week goes by and I call Customer Service and finally got a human. Like a broken record he keeps telling me that they are looking into it, but there is nothing that he can tell me about when my parts order. Then HE HANGS UP ON ME. Oh really! Let me offer my deepest apologies for doing business with you and sending you my money. How silly of me.

Addendum: OK, PartsGeek gets back to me after I made a bunch of noise and we got things resolved. However, the customer service representative hung up on me, and I notice from reading other reviews that he hangs up on a lot of PartsGeek's customers. No more ordering from PartsGeek.

Parts geek return policy makes customers pay for their mistakes. I bought c. V axle. The part was wrong and faulty. The shipping would have cost me more than what the part cost, so I'm stuck with scrap metal. You can never talk to live person, unless you want to buy something, after that good luck

Like the title says, I tried to order a water pump for my 1995 bmw 325i. When I got to the checkout, it would not accept my American Express prepaid card. It kept saying the billing address was wrong like they had knowledge of the card beforehand. I tried several times to order my part. I even called American Express customer service to see if my card was fine. During the call, it said I had $92.00 from the total $100 the card started out with. Confused, I went to check my card's balance history online. It turns out, all the times my card wasn't "accepted", Parts Geek charged me for it! "PARTS GEEK LIMITED LIABIL - Purchase (AXP) w/ Bal Return & AVS" I got this message 8 Times! They stole $8 from my card! I sent them a nice letter to see if I can get my money back. I doubt they will respond... EDIT: I talked to a customer service rep. Apparently, they only cards that have addresses assigned to them. And here I am sitting with $92 and $8 Parts Geek is holding for liability reasons... Never using this garbage site again.

Do not trust in this company. They are not accountable to sell low quality and wrong parts. All the parts bought in their site were not compatible to the year model of the car as described by them. Save money, time and hassle NOT BUYING from this non responsible, they really do not car about selling and shipping wrong parts because they will never refund neither pay the return shipping cost regardless if they sent you the wrong part. Avoid headaches!

Order indicates ball joints however I received a brake sensor cable. Every time I try to call them they hang up on me. All I get are automated emails. Then they want me to pay shipping to return the part. Told me to take a picture as proof. I sent them the picture and now they've told me for 3 days someone will get back to me when they figure out what happened in the warehouse. I had to buy locally and just want my money back at this point. Stay away from PartsGeek. Big ripoff!

I ordered two aftermarket headlights (left/right sides) for a Mercedes. I received two packages.
One headlight was correct the other was for a newer style BMW. They mistamped the package at the warehouse. I called customer service the first time. Before I even get to give my name I get hung up on.
Second time I speak with a man named Richard. I send him an email and shortly he contacts me back and says the correct headlamp was not found (they had no more stock of) and I would have to purchase a different brand that was $140 dollars more AND different brands. He would discount $15 dollars for the inconvenience. I explained I need both lights to be the same manufacture but he was unable to get another.
Now parts geek already gives you $15 dollars off any purchase just by signing up for the email list. I explained that it was ridiculous that I have to now go ship the item, pay extra for a brand I don't even want and wait another week but all they could do was a $15 dollar discount. I had said the word "$#*!" in my statement (not directed towards him, just the situation) and he said not to curse at him. I told him I have a freedom of speech and was not cursing at him.
*** is an ok word and he hung up. YET AGAIN I called again and got in contact with Roman "front end manager". I explained how his representative "Richard" hung up and he said he is sorry that shouldn't of happened. Ok I let that go and went on how the situation happened.
He said all they could do was a $15 dollar discount and same old story. Roman stated he has no other higher up a customer can speak with and the *** customer service ends with him.
I told him I want to return both lights and he says they would refund me for the full amount on the wrong light but I still have to pay shipping on the other. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THIS *** WEBSITE/COMPANY AGAIN!

My order never made it to my house and it was automatically returned to shipper. The FedEx tracking number stopped tracking it once it was labeled as return to shipper and when I reached out to them, they indicated I needed to reach out to the company that shipped it.

I tried reaching out to Parts Geek multiple times via email and via phone to figure out what happened/if I could get it resent or refunded. Both phone calls ended with being hung up on and I have yet to receive a response via email. The customer service is a joke. I just want my part or a refund, I don't understand why it needs to be this complicated.

Ordered upper & lower rear control arms for for 1998 acura.
They sent 3 uppers and 1 lower arm. I reviewed order and shipping label and determined they sent the wrong parts. I had to send back extra upper control arm (at my cost) and reorder the lower left once again (I had to pay shipping again)for their mistake. Got the correct lower control arm and the bushing had come out of the arm during shipping. Was going to press in and it wouldn't stay in arm. Had to send this back for another refund (had to pay shipping again.) I'll never buy from them again. They need to make things right when they're at fault. I had to spend $52 extra in shipping to return a $72 part.

I ordered a third brake light back on 2Feb 2018 and as of today 2Apr2018, I never received my part... much more my refund on this particular part. Your company is very rude... would not assist me in trying to find a solution to this problem... as mentioned in many of the reviews I've already read, your company should have been buried a very long time ago! Many thanks for Nothing!
